My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy

Chapter 143 - 143. Halora's Birthday

After classes, Halora went back home as she craved something she discovered by herself. She loved cooking, combining different foods and ended up liking all of them.

"It's been a while since the last time I cook for myself." she said, chopping the garlic and onion into tiny pieces.

On the top of the kitchen, she prepared potatoes, chicken's breast, a pack of an imported pasta and tomato sauce. Her body craved for it as if she didn't has the chance to eat like there was no tomorrow at all.

Halora was wearing a black apron while she forgot to change her uniform first. Excitement drawn on her face as she set aside the basic ingredients, peeled off the potatoes and cut into cubes.

"You have to eat a lot, Halora! You should be stronger as ever or you'll gonna lose everything that you worked hard for!"

She swayed her hips gracefully, showing her hidden talents. She was a good dancer but because of what she had went through, she chose to be as low key as she could.

However, while she cooked a lot for supper, it looked like she invited someone to come over and joined her but the truth was different.

"Alright! I'm done with the chicken's special soup! It's time to boil the pasta!" She clapped her hands, put the dripping pan into the stove and poured water on it.

While she waited for it to boil, she prepared the tomato sauce, garlic, onions, basil leaves, black pepper, chili powder, shredded carrots and potatoes.

She saute everything in another pan except for the carrots, potatoes and basil leaves. "It's time to pour the tomato sauce with a pinch of salt and pepper!"

These past few weeks, Halora experienced both happiness and sadness because of one, special person. Her last year as a junior high student became too memorable as it filled with good and bad memories.

But at that moment, she cooked like what she used to do when she knew no one at all. The smile on her lips was perfectly sweet and genuine that slowly faded away.

"Tsadan! It's time to eat!"

Halora exclaimed, took off the apron and put it aside after she finished with everything. She seated and began eating with the same mood and smile on her lips before her parents died.

On that exact night, on her birthday, they shared a simple dinner party for her. As much as she remembered some of the details, she chose a simple celebration and donated the money to the street children who needed more than her.

Everytime she reminisced about that moment, her heart would skip a bet and a cold wind touched on her skin. It felt like they were around protecting their child even though they was gone in the world.

"Woah! I can't believe I received a lot for this month's allowance!"

Earlier, after she treated Sebastian's wound. The department of finance summoned her about her allowance. Without any hesitation, she went and reported that changed her plans on the day of her eighteenth birthday.

"Before this day ends, I need to make a wish and blow the candles! That's right, I should have done it before eating the pasta and soup!" she said with a short smile on her lips.

When the night came, the rain stopped pouring. The ground was still wet but it made everyone's day beautiful despite earlier's gloomy weather.

Inside of the fancy, well-ornated hotel, Sebastian and his friends gathered around as they welcomed him back to the City.

Delicate foods was served with expensive red wine as few of them were still minors. Yong, who planned everything, lifted his glass filled with wine.

He said, "Let's welcome our dearest, girl's fantasy... Sebastian Woo!"

"Woah! Cheers!"

"Cheers." Daniel said shortly.

Robbe, seated next to him with a suspicious smile and look at his face. He stooped, whispered to the campus bad boy but it didn't change his mood.

"Hey, man! Since you came back, you've been acting like you killed someone who's powerful than you. I– it bothered us as well as we are all friends, right? We are supposed to lift and help each other no mater what."

"Robbe is right. If there's something bothering you, you can tell us and we will never judge you, Sebastian." spoke Andy after he swallowed his last drink.

As he felt their sincerity, he crossed his legs, took a deep breath and looked at nowhere. He looked hesitant to open up as for sure, all of them would explode like a dangerous bomb.

"Markus was the one who helped Halora when she ran away from the mansion the other day because of me. I saw him and I badly wanted to punch his face but..."

"But I d–didn't d– do it..." he stuttered until Daniel said it on behalf of him.

"Because of her, am I right?"

He sighed, put the empty glass on the table and looked intently into his glinting blue eyes. "I don't understand why you suddenly became like this! You are our leader and you're not supposed to waste your time hanging around with her!"

His voice rose that shocked everyone on the hotel. "Daniel! Don't do this, please!" Dilan stopped Daniel but he abruptly let go of his hand and stepped closer to Sebastian.

But despite the tension between them, he remained calm, he chose to be calm as he knew when to use his strength.

"Don't say anything, Sebastian! J– just shut your fucking mouth, asshole!" Grey whispered to his ears that made him laugh louder.

But as they avoided any conflict, Daniel misunderstood it as he quickly grabbed Sebastian's collar angrily. His eyes glowed like a solid fire, closed his fists as he was prepared to punch him.

"Daniel!"

"Stop it, Daniel!" Yong and Robbe held his arms as he struggled to hurt the most powerful Alpha. No one knew about his biggest secret as Sebastian waited for the perfect place and time.

Sebastian bowed his head, touched his nape as he glanced at Daniel's eyes. "Someone is calling right now and I know, it is an urgent matter. After this call, you can punch me until you regret it in the end." he said.

And he turned around the moment he answered the urgent call.
