My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy
Chapter 161 - 161: Black Granules
Ms. San Diego looked hopeless at the corner, sweating like a flowing river as the collar of her uniform soaked in water.
Quick as the bolt of lightning, Sebastian went back with a bottle of water. He was breathing heavily while helping the poor, frightened nurse who was at the brink of death a few minutes ago.
He gave her enough time to relax, to breath with ease that avoided serious condition.
She sighed, looked at the small window at her right side. "How is she?"
That what she said after she finally realized what had happened. Her lips turned pale, her fixed, perfectly knotted black hair became messy all of a sudden.
At that moment, it surprised Sebastian and confused about something else. The way she looked at him, they way she spoke about Halora, it sounded like she was scared to death.
He shook his head in disagreement that gave her a peace of mind and sighed in relief. She couldn't forgive herself if bad things happened to Halora while she was around, lurking and saving only herself.
The campus bad boy wanted to ask her on behalf of her strange actions, but it was the exact moment where Halora walked up from a two hour peaceful sleep.
"Sebastian?"
"Ms. San Diego?"
She called the both of them that ruined the best moment to tell Sebastian about the witches' plan as soon as the classes began.
"We're here! I found her sweating in the corner and she asked for water! Hold on, Halora!" he told Halora in a hurry.
But he can't let the poor nurse stay in that dark, narrow room by herself. He quickly offered his hand, encircled her arms around her shoulders and helped her walk to the patients' quarter.
Fortunately, Ms. San Diego's weight was only forty-eight kilos that made it convenient to Sebastian.
As soon as he pushed the door, Halora widened her eyes, leaned back to the wall when she heard a loud, alarming sound.
She sighed, "Sebastian!"
"Stay still, Halora! S– something just happened to Ms. San Diego, and maybe because of the narrow space of her office." he replied until he helped her laid down her body to the bed next to Halora.
She looked tired, afraid of the witch's real features. "T– thank you for helping me, but I guess, I have to call the senior nurse of the clinic."
Ms. San Diego took out her phone and dialed someone's number. While she tried to get some help, Sebastian went towards Halora with doubt in his eyes.
He knew and sensed that there was an intruder before he arrived at the clinic. He just realized it the moment he noticed black, fine granules on Halora's arms and fingers.
He quickly held her arms, wiped off the black powder with the towel he didn't used earlier.
"What was that? I thought you wrote those scribbles on my arms!"
"Give me your right arm, now!"
With authority to his voice, Halora has no other choice but the alpha's order. She bowed her head, looked at his eyes until he wiped it hardly as the black granules vanished.
"Someone came here behind my back! And it must be the reason why the nurse suddenly collapsed and bathed in her sweats." he thought.
Sebastian didn't show any suspicious, strange actions that will give stress to Halora. She needed to take enough rest and a bad news will worsen her current condition.
She gulped, gently put down her arms back to the soft, comforting bed with a short smile flaunted on his lips.
"Hey, are you still mad at me? Why don't you say something, Sebastian?"
But the campus bad boy remained quiet instead of uttering a single word to make her feel better. He was too occupied of the intruder who left such evidence that was easy to be noticed by an ordinary human eye.
Because of his cold treatment, Halora misunderstood it as she pouted, crossed her arms and looked throughout the room. Her smiling face turned into a frown while she was being ignored by her handsome, cool boyfriend.
Until now, she couldn't imagine that after all the struggles, the what-ifs in her head had finally replaced by a greatest love.
Halora promised to herself that she would sacrifice herself in the name of love, and between love and death, she would rather die loving the man who brought genuine happiness to her life.
However, as she acted like a brokenhearted girl, Sebastian took a deep breath and suddenly grabbed her arms. His warm body rubbed against her skin, giving Halora a cozy, yet electrifying feeling.
Her eyes widened even more as he tightened it up. Her arms placed around chest, making her heartbeat fast and gave her stomach thousands of butterflies.
"I don't know what do without you, Halora...," he whispered sweetly that became a perfect melody to Halora.
He caressed her long hair, smelled it like he would missed as if he will be gone for a long time away from Halora.
"W– what's g–going on, Sebastian? Why did you suddenly embraced this tight?"
Confusingly, she asked him sort of questions that was really hard to find the perfect answers. He knew they have different lives back then but he just followed what his heart wanted.
After all, if there was one thing that ch she'd his beliefs and notions, one of those reasons must be love. Because of genuine love, Sebastian suddenly feared death like he never felt before.
Since he met Halora, he became aloof to other people, treated them coldly like an iceberg in the deep, wide ocean.
Tears shone to her round, brown eyes when she heard it from him. She was truly blessed to have him in her life and after her parents death, she had finally found a new source of happiness, and that man named... Sebastian.
However, as they stayed in a sweet yet awkward position, Ms. San Diego called for their attention that suddenly brought goosebumps on their skin.
She seated calmly, looked into their eyes for a couple of seconds. "I have something to tell you..." she said coldly that brought back the fear that took her to the brink of death.
