My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy
Chapter 178 - 178: My Destined Mate
Markus sighed heavily and looked exhausted. He knew Sebastian has a special place in her heart but everytime he caught a glimpse of them together made his heart like a broken glass.
"H– hey, can you stop making a scene in here? We are still in the headquarters, for heaven's sake!" he reminded the two lovers who almost forgot the proper etiquette.
Fortunately, Halora came back to her senses when she noticed a groups of cops laughing from a distance.
She quickly tucked away a few strands of her hair, moved away from Sebastian and she said, "Markus is right, we need to talk privately."
Sebastian looked at Markus who looked tired and exhausted. Suddenly, he took the key from his pocket and threw it to him.
He said, "Drive the car, dude! I'll repay you when the right time comes."
"W– what the fuck? Are you serious, Sebastian?" he scowled, sounded like a bitter suitor who got rejected by the girl he loved.
"Why? Am I even fooling you around?" Sebastian rolled his eyes at him like a girl with a bitchy attitude. He took Halora with him, opened the door and let her went inside. "Can you move a little fast? Halora is exhausted and she needs to take some rest!"
He acted like a good, perfect boyfriend of Halora. Sebastian's cold expression left Markus speechless as he prepared his arms in disbelief.
"I can't believe it, for pete's sake!"
Right then on, Markus became their personal driver. He drove in a normal speed while he looked at Halora's reflection.
She was leaning towards the window, watching the twinkling stars as she didn't notice that it was already seven in the evening.
Halora pouted, reminisced every moment of the ring. "Huh, why do I'm even feeling this way? It seemed like my heart was being pricked by thousands of needles?"
As she didn't want to bother the two boys inside of the car, she whispered it to the cold wind and touched her chest.
Markus wanted to comfort her, rubbed her back while Halora cried on his chest but, it was impossible to happen because of his greatest rival.
"Tss! I have such a glinting emerald eyes not just like him– a boring, lifeless blue eyes!"
As he drove back to Halora's house, he kept on comparing himself to Sebastian. He acted like a childish man who still failed in the end.
Unfortunately, as his eyes wasn't on the road, he almost dumped into a yellow sports car but luckily, he quickly turned the steering wheel to the right that avoided them from any accident.
Sebastian took a deep sigh, faced Halora who seemed to be calm. "H– how do you feel?"
As he was concerned about her, he reacted exaggeratedly that surprised the young girl who felt it too, but instead of being shocked, she looked at Markus who were staring at her too.
Secretly, he gave her a peace sign that made Halora burst into laughter. He even put his right hand to his forehead and saluted to her.
Sebastian noticed how they communicate with each other. He felt jealous of him as he quickly grabbed Halora's hand, cupped her face and he said, "Don't look somewhere else!"
"W– why? I mean, I was just looking at the road."
But because she was the campus bad boy's girlfriend, she has no other option but to obey the laws he created.
And without a single word, he narrowed his eyes and looked at Markus who suddenly felt fear.
By then, along the way, Halora did nothing but caressed her temple. It has been a long day for all of them and they must be at their home by now.
However, as they were closed to Halora's house, Sebastian's hand slowly trailed off to her lap. It was quite strange and embarrassing, but as the time goes by, she felt safe and secured.
Through his simple gestures, he would always swift away all the negativity just for a second. She didn't know exactly but he gave her butterflies in stomach and at the same time peace of mind that she never felt before.
Halora smiled secretly as she moved her left arm, took his hand and intertwined with her.
"Just be quiet." she murmured as she looked at the street with lots of people.
For the very first time, someone changed the cold, mysterious extraordinary bad boy. He smiled widely but everytime he looked at the mirror, he would always covered his face with his arms.
It was strangely sweet and romantic that he felt everytime she was around. His heart skipped a beat and he could sensed that everything in him changed out of control.
On the other side, Markus smiled the moment he saw Halora's house. From a distance, they completely noticed that there was no trash on the road.
It was too clean as if nothing happened earlier when the people burst into anger and blamed Halora.
He sighed, slowly parked the car at the main entrance with a wide smile on his lips. "Alright, we're here! But, let me park the car first."
The two passengers held each other's hand tightly. Even Halora wanted to let go, Sebastian gripped it more tightly as ever.
"Don't let go, until he opened the door for you." His face were serious and she must not mess up with him or a romantic yet aggressive thing would happen.
As Markus finally parked the car, he hurriedly unfastened the seat belt, took the key and jumped off from the driver's seat.
He was grinning, jumping out of excitement until he opened the door for Halora. As fast as they could, both of them let go of each other's hand, pretended like nothing happened.
Sebastian went out, looked at Halora who accompanied by Markus. He gritted his teeth, kicked off the ground out of anger, "That jerk is getting into my nerves! I must do something so that no one could ever dare to talk to Halora!"
He hissed, caressed his temple as he looked pissed off at his rival. But instead of surrendering, he ran quickly, followed them silently.
As soon as they entered inside, Halora offered them a seat. She looked tired but she didn't want to be rude towards her visitors.
She told them to wait for a couple of minutes but before she could move her feet, Markus stood up and he said with a dismayed eyes, "I– I... I am sorry, Halora but I can't make it tonight! Something happened and I should be there with them!"
It saddened her but she slightly nodded her head. She sighed, "It must be an urgent matter a– and of course, you can join us next time. R– right, Sebastian?" But his response shocked the two of them.
Sebastian stood up from his seat, took the way to the kitchen when he said, "It's a good news that you can't join us, Markus." A playful smile plastered on his lips, "What are you waiting for? Just leave and gave us enough time."
It stunned Halora but fortunately, Markus didn't take it seriously.
He replied, "You really want to be with here, huh! If only I have another choice..."
But, while he spoke to him, Sebastian walked into the kitchen with rhythm. After a long battle, he ended up with her and no matter what happened, he would always choose her.
Before any trouble arise, Halora held the edge of Markus' shirt and pulled him off back to the car.
It was an embarrassing moment but she swallowed her pride and took him away from her boyfriend.
With a bitter smile, she clasped her hands, looked away from his frightening stare until she heard his hollow voice.
"Look straight into my eyes, Halora. I know this is hard and too much to ask but, please, just... just this o– on– once!"
From the window found at the kitchen, Sebastian silently watched them. He wanted to run, grab her hand away from him but something stopped him.
He stayed, swallowed his pride and ego while someone tried to steal his girlfriend from him.
"Hmm, I should wait for her in the living area." he murmured as he only took a slice of cake from the fridge.
While he patiently waited for Halora, Sebastian heard loud footsteps. He remained calm, silent but deep inside he felt jealous of Markus.
"I just let you do whatever you want to do with my girlfriend, but the next time you do it, I won't hesitate to kill you, Markus." he murmured.
"Hey, what's with I won't hesitate to kill you, huh? Are you having trouble with the other gang again?"
She sounded like a mother and at the same time a sweet, caring girlfriend that asked such an intense question.
Instead of feeling offended, he crossed his legs, put the plate on the table and stood without looking at somewhere else but on her glinting, tantalizing brown eyes.
"Hmm, would you tell me what he did to you?"
Halora shook her head, "Nothing. Just normal eye contact but I sensed that he want to tell me something but a call stopped him. So, he quickly told me to back inside and so he left that way."
She shrugged off her shoulders until warm, tender hands touched her waist.
"You are my destined mate, Halora and I know we are meant to be in each other's hands.." he whispered that touched her soul.
