The method of gaining and accumulating one's power in cultivation through obtaining powerful and beautiful women and adding them into your harem. This dao concentrates on the concepts of harmonious exchange of energy along with its accumulation that benefits the whole.

There is no specific element of qi used in the path of harem cultivation in order to lessen the danger of qi combustion when opposing or like elements create chaos within the meridians and dantian of the dao practitioners.

The chances of the intermingling energies through the act of dual cultivation have a high chance of killing, corrupting, or harming the practitioners if done indiscriminately and without proper precautions.

"Mystic art and its layers…" Li Yang frowned. "That's the combination of two or more cultivation guide books. I assumed that harem cultivation may have already taken a lot from dual cultivation and simply learned how to apply it to more than one cultivation partner."

"They're not exactly the same." Bao pointed out. "There's nothing that states that dual cultivation is a necessary process and even cites that there's danger to it. Harem cultivation focuses on simply the exchange of energy and sex is but one of the many options to it."

The man paused and nodded slowly. "Ah, then it does not solely rely on physical contact and the intermingling of the yin and yang elements… the other forms of energy are applicable as long as its harmonious exchange and does not have any negative outflow."

There were occasions where one's interest with one's partner did veer away from the bed so Li Yang was glad that it was not the only requirement in the harem cultivation system and instead was one out of many.

Honestly sometimes it felt like there was a contradiction somewhere.

Perhaps it was the intervention of the maker of the System and not necessarily the path of harem cultivation itself? 

Li Yang could see how the maker might have simply decided to input the cultivation and harem part into it and expected the one who receives the System to act accordingly to their preconceived notion.

At least that was a good explanation to Anna Song. If it was true that it was only the System that was still trying to make him seduce another woman, he would find it difficult to not actually want to check what the harem cultivation had in store for someone like him.

Potentially, there could be something useful for him and so Li Yang was interested in pursuing it. He then granted permission to upgrade.

All of this was a lot to take in for Li Yang when he saw and read the block of text appear on the screen and yet in some ways, it wasn't as exactly long as compared to that of the contracts and paperwork that he often encountered.

Such words were digestible and comprehensible.

The man took note of each statement and then he suddenly thought about his situation. Li Yang found himself already experiencing the certain feeling of one's fate being tied together with that of another person. 

It was a situation that slightly baffled and bothered him in some way.

Li Yang found himself thinking of Narissa.

Despite the fact that the Mermaid did not relish the idea of him entering her life and also flatly rejected him despite his initial offer, Narissa eventually still ended up meeting with him again and at their second meeting was more willing to contemplate on helping him and being a part of his life.

Was it because of the string of fate or out of her own volition?

Was it all ordained already?

What if Li Yang was only going to a specific route that was measured based on marketability?

Li Yang wanted to think of all of this as the woman's own decision and express consent as to why she chose to be a part of his life and simply not the other way around.  He hoped it was because Narissa herself thought that this was truly something she wanted.

He wanted to think that there was still free will involved in it.

He also chose to pursue Narissa.

The idea that the System would do whatever it takes to have a woman be part of his harem did not sit well with him and even if it may have been out of the inability to avoid his initial fate, Li Yang still actively chose to pursue it which made things different..

Or else, Li Yang wouldn't have been able to break the initial 'bond' made by the System with him and Ying Yue He. While it was true that Li Yang still pursued Ying Yue He in the end, it was now because of his choice and not those of the Observers above him. 

The man sighed and chose to pay attention to something else.

As mystical bonds are formed between harem members, you can now share skills with them on occasions where such drastic need for power occurs. Due to the effects of the System, the range of sharing Skills has surpassed normal Harem Dao Imperial Code.

Normally, most dao practitioners will need to be in a certain range, however the System has allowed the individual to share and borrow skills on times of need across the universe.
