She thought, “He won’t make me follow him back to the military base, will he?

Gu Haoting pushed a cart into the room.

Even his silence felt noble.

He stopped before the couch and turned his gaze toward her. In a deep voice, he said, “Aren’t you going to come over here?”

She decided not to behave flirtatiously either. She lifted the blanket and got out of bed.

“Sit beside me,” instructed Gu Haoting indifferently.

Huo Weiwu shrugged her shoulders. It was no big deal.

She walked toward him.

Gu Haoting grabbed her arm and with one tug, pulled her onto his body. Huo Weiwu found herself trapped in his embrace.

Before she had time to stand up, he kissed her again.

Huo Weiwu glared at him with wide eyes. There was a slight frown on her face and the vexation she felt was not concealed in the least bit.

She thought, “Is he a kissing maniac?

“Doesn’t he have many female companions?

“How do those women put up with his insatiable desires?”

In the past, Gu Haoting would stop after kissing her. However, this time was not like previous times.

He lifted her top and snuck his hand beneath the fabric.

His palm was huge and very warm. He was able to cup one breast with one hand.

Huo Weiwu felt like her heart was about to jump out through her mouth.

It was too thrilling and intimate.

She thought, “Is he initiating… foreplay with me?”

Even though she had never done this, she had seen it happen on television.

He lowered his head and kissed her again.

So, she felt fearful and resistant.

She pushed his head away and said in an unhappy tone, “What are you doing?”

“What do you think I’m doing?” Gu Haoting looked at her chest. His eyes brimmed with a myriad of emotions. “You’re feeling it.”

It was a resolute statement.

Huo Weiwu could not deny it because she could feel his erection.

However, since it was not a consensual situation, she refused to admit it. She felt embarrassed.

“Isn’t that just a conditioned reflex? It’s the same logic as a knee jerk reflex. My shudder was a result of what God bestowed on the female sex—the maternal instinct to reproduce,” Huo Weiwu casually found an excuse, trying to talk her way out.

Gu Haoting was not happy about that response.

He cast a sidelong glance at her obstinate gaze and felt slightly sullen.

His palm cruised over her knee and slid upwards.

Huo Weiwu forcefully squeezed her legs shut in surprise.

Gu Haoting stopped. With a frown, he examined her carefully and inquisitively, asking, “Huo Weiwu, are you really not feeling it?”

Huo Weiwu lowered her eyelids. She thought, “If I admit that I’m feeling it, won’t it just be an invitation for him to become even bolder?”

“It doesn’t feel very comfortable for me,” replied Huo Weiwu.

Gu Haoting was mad now. His face darkened as he stared at her icily.

“That’s alright. We have two hours left, anyway. I can fix that for you, my dear Mrs. Gu.”

Huo Weiwu was speechless.
