"Little duckling?" Zeus promptly asked.

Czar grinned with a spooky expression and raised his eyebrows. "Yeah, it's the nickname I have given to her. Isn't it so cute?" He inquired.​​

Zeus had a disgusted look on his face and sighed heavily in response. "Czar, I have already warned you. Don't try to mess up with our new interns or else--"

"I know I know, you don't need to threaten me with your orders." Czar interrupted his words with a blunt reply. "But, that lady is really something else. I think something is very mysterious about her, especially her smell. It can really allure any werewolves to a greater extent." He continued.

Zeus seemed to be a bit anxious with his answer and averted his gaze. Several thoughts were running wild in his mind. Nonchalantly, he was fidgeting.

Czar observed his expression pretty soon and found it quite amusing. With a wicked grin, he stared at him. "It will be fun to have little duckling in our cave." He thought.

Zeus soon retrieved his senses and hastily walked towards his seat. "You can leave now, I need to work." He decreed.

With an impish grin Czar walked out of his room. As soon as he headed out, Zeus sighed again with a fretful gesture. "Czar is right though. Her unique smell can easily attract beasts like us. But, I just wanted to help her dug out of the miseries... Did I commit a grave mistake by approving her?" He anticipated.

Eva's POV:

Probably a small bliss had appeared in my life after I was battling with my dark days. I didn't even expect the small glimpse of happiness would find me any time sooner, but it did!

My job finally got approved by the prestigious Romano Organisation. I still couldn't believe my ears when Mr. Pablo called me yesterday to inform me about my selection. For a second, I forgot all the despairs I have been facing for a few days...

Today is my first day at the office. I am overexcited about the new beginnings of my life. My reporting time was around 10.30 am but I already arrived at the office premises within 10.

With a confident and bold gesture, I walked inside the gigantic building which will be my second address from now on. I was advised to visit the 16th floor. I stood still in front of the elevator, waiting for it to come down so that I can hop in. A middle-aged guy in his 30's came and stood beside me while waiting for the lift.

Suddenly I could perceive, that guy was constantly staring at me. I slightly peeked at him and I was stunned. He was gawking at me as if he thought of me as prey for a hawk-like him. His eyes looked tremendously oblivious and wholly fixated.

"What the f*ck? He is a cheap pervert!" I was anticipating nonchalantly.

In the meantime, the elevator came down and it was completely vacant. Hurriedly I tried to enter inside it to escape from him. But something unusual happened!

I quickly ran inside the elevator and pressed the button for closing the door. But, he too followed me abruptly in a second. For an instance, it felt as if his body was wholly transparent and could pass through the walls of the elevator!

I shuddered in anguish. What's this? How can a human pass through the metallic walls? I rubbed my eyes to check if all this is been a dream or not, but unfortunately, it was all true!

He had an absolute malicious look in his eyes. Slowly, he licked his lips with an immoral grin while ogling at me. "You... smell so delicious." He muttered.

My heart throbbed in fear with hearing such an unethical declaration. I immediately peeked at the buttons and we were only on the 10th floor. And there was no one inside the life except us.

"I need to head out now. He looks completely lunatic!" I was wondering with a panicked face. But that pervert was standing still by guarding the elevator door. I gulped anxiously and tried to come up with any plan.

Slowly he started walking towards me. I don't know why, but the gaze is in his eyes seemed to be beastly! It was not of a normal human. And also, his gestures didn't seem to be normal either. He was continually licking his lips as if he was too eager to devour me!

"Don-Don't come near me, you bastard! I am gonna kill you!" I screamed at him in wrath and immediately opened my bag to take out the pepper spray, which I usually keep with myself for self-defense.

But something more terrible was yet to happen. I forgot to put the spray inside as I was too excited to come here. I shivered in fear and my legs started trembling as I moved to the extreme end of the lift.

"Your smell is making me so crazy...," that pervert mumbled again as he reached much closer to me.

"Don't! I said don't!" His bizarre expression made me scared to even look at him. I shrieked helplessly and closed my eyes tightly. It was too horrific.

Suddenly to my surprise, the lift stopped! As it stopped immediately the elevator door opened. I peeped my eyes and glanced at the door fearfully. A tall, muscular, handsome yet cold guy was standing at the entrance with a fiery expression in his eyes. He was ogling at the pervert in extreme wrath as if he was ready to kill him at any moment.

But the most stunning fact was that I found that guy oddly familiar to me, especially his eyes! I felt as if I have seen him somewhere before!

Abruptly I reminded of the day when I was saved by a mystic person. I could only see his dark cold eyes for a second, then he immediately ran away. Shockingly, the fiery eyes of this guy were strangely familiar with him. And the most peculiar fact is that he too found me at the moment when I was in danger!

"Get out!" That person shrieked in an intense wrathful voice while glaring at the pervert. He seemed to be burning in rage.

The pervert resembled a bit shocked to notice him all of a sudden and started fidgeting anxiously. "Si-Sir?" He murmured.

The man gallantly walked inside the elevator and groaned at him. "I told you to get out!" He yelled.

Somehow his voice sounded insanely dominant. As if it was almost impossible for any person to disobey his command. Somehow, he looked strangely peculiar with a violent gaze in his eyes.

After noticing his furiousness, the pervert immediately dashed away from the elevator. I was still benumbed and shocked by all the events that happened around me in these last few minutes.

The cold person slowly walked a bit closer to me and stared at me intensively for a while. "Are you okay?" He asked.

I was shivering in fear but strangely felt a little relieved with his arrival. I ogled at him with a frightened gesture. "Wh-Who are y-you?" I murmured.
