My Destined Werewolf Mate

Zeus rushed into his room and slammed the door loudly. He was flustered red and panting very hard. He leaned on his chair with his body being sluggish after such a passionate confrontation with Eva.

"Damn, why did I react so immodestly? It's... It's all due to her smell... She allured me to such an extent that I almost had kissed her red lips, ahh darn it! Stop thinking about her!" He was cursing himself by covering his face with both his arms to hide the embarrassment.​​

But somehow he could feel a strange sensation in his body. His frozen heart, which never beaten for any human or werewolf maiden in all these lonely years, was pounding like crazy. He clenched his chest in order to calm himself down but it was too tough to control the emotions.

"Her scent is too erogenous for a true blood alpha like me... It will cause a considerable fuss here if she emits it everywhere... I think I committed a huge mistake by letting her work here. I can't put my pack in danger." He mumbled with a hoarse voice.

Suddenly, he sprang up from his seat and took out his phone. Anxiously he dialed someone.

(Phone ringing)

"Ye-Yes, sir?" A terrified voice responded to him prior.

Zeus scrunched his eyebrows before speaking, "Meet me at the terrace. We need to talk." He grumbled and quickly disconnected the call.

The sky seemed bright and beautiful. Zeus was standing at the terrace of the 45 storeyed building with a malicious gaze in his eyes. His face appeared too infuriated as if an animal was waiting for its prey to lure in the trap.

Slowly the door opened and a worried, middle-aged man walked up to him. It was the same man who tried to attack Eva inside the elevator. Immediately he turned his face to him and groaned in anger.

"Do you have the slightest idea that what you tried to do today?" Zeus snapped at him in angst.

He was trembling in fear while facing his wrath and averted his gaze downwards. "I-I am sorry, master. I don't even know why did I react so immodestly, but... she was emitting a strange scent! It made me lose my mind and I dared to attack her..." He murmured.

Zeus furiously rushed to him and grabbed his collar. "If I hadn't intervened at that time, you could have killed her until now... How dare you to commit such an immoral crime to an innocent human! Do you want to put all of us in danger?" He roared.

The man burst out in tears as he was extremely terrified. "Please forgive me, master... I won't dare to commit such a heinous sin ever again. Please give me a last chance." He begged while trying to unleash himself from his grip.

Zeus smirked with his response. Instantly, his eye color changed into bright red, and razor-sharp huge, fiery claws started to emerge from the nails in his right arm. "You are asking for mercy from a true alpha. How naive of you!" He sneered with a wicked grin.

The man chickened out and desperately struggled to escape from his grasp. "Don't kill me, master, you can't kill your own pack member for a single crime. There are many more werewolves who have committed much more sins than me... Don't be so harsh on me, please." He was mumbling nonchalantly.

But Zeus didn't seem to accept his pleading for a little bit. He seemed farthest infuriated and tightened his grip and muttered, "a beta like you can't win against me... You will reap what you have sown."

SLASSSHHHH!

Immediately in a fraction of a second, he pierced his fiery long claws into his chest and ripped him apart brutally.

"EEUUKKKK!" The main quivered in pain before falling on the ground of the terrace. His blood splattered everywhere in the floor and he died instantly.

Zeus was standing still while ogling at him ferociously. The thick hot blood was dripping down from his arms covering the long nails. His suit was stained completely with blood droplets which were quite visible.

"Woah, what a sight!"

Zeus flinched with the sudden call and turned his face fiercely. His eyes were still bright reddened.

Czar was standing at the door of the terrace with a devilish grin on his face. He seemed pretty amused by the show. Abruptly, he took a huge leap with his robust and powerful legs, landing straight in front of Zeus.

"You killed your own pack member! I am quite surprised by your behavior, big brother. You are quite ferocious nowadays. Is it that hard to control your beastly instincts?" Czar conveyed with a deep voice.

Zeus gawked angrily at him for a moment and turned his face away. His eye color returned to normal and his claws disappeared from his arm. He regained his human form and took out a hanky from his suit pocket. Slowly, he wiped the blood smearing his arms with a deep sigh.

"He tried to attack an intern. Assaulting helpless humans are absolutely forbidden in my dominance." He sounded quite angry.

"But it's the first time, you killed a werewolf for a human! That's too unlikely... Or is it because... he tried to attack your favorite maiden?" He winked with a sly smirk while interrogating him.

Zeus was puzzled with his response and growled, "I am already agitated enough. Don't try to provoke me more." He howled in a screeching tone and gallantly headed towards the door. After walking a few steps, he halted and turned back. "And, the forbiddance is implemented on everyone, even on you Czar. I won't kill you, but I have my own ways to penalize your sin." He snapped at him.

As soon as Zeus walked out of the premises, a wicked grin appeared on his face while he was looking all the way he left. "A human is shaking up your frozen emotions... It will be such a treat to watch you committing sins for her... Hopefully, I will get enough chances now to defeat your position." He mumbled.
