"Brother, I bet something must have happened between you two. Did you guys argue about something? Is it... regarding your fondness towards little duckling? You know my hunches are never wrong." He was gawking at him fixedly, with a mystic smirk occupying his grimace as he conversed.

"Czar, can you just stop calling Eva with that obscene name? Till how long you are gonna be like that?" Holding a vexed expression on his face, Zeus reciprocated back promptly.

"Why? It's fun to tease her... And I really like to observe her agitated look on her tiny face! Haha! It amuses me so much...damn!" Unknowingly, he cracked up with laughter, holding a pleasant eloquence while slowly averting his eyes from him.

His sudden laughter somehow startled Zeus a bit. For the first time ever in that mansion, he saw Czar laughing out heartily before him with such a happy gesture. Even though he saw him laughing countless times, but unlike every time, his eyes weren't sad or dark. Instead, they seemed gleaming with warmth as he was chatting about her.

"Czar, it's the first time I am watching you smiling so happily. I didn't know, teasing her would be so fun-filled for you... But, you should smile like this more often, it suits you." Staring vividly at him, he murmured softly.

All of a sudden, the wide smile occupying his face immediately faded engrossed with a dubious surprised expression at his response. "Errr, why was I smiling so widely like that talking about her? Damn! I must be really out of my mind! What's wrong with me?" Wondering perplexedly, he stood silent for a few seconds.

"Czar did my response upset you--"

"Ahhh, that's a ridiculous assumption of yours, big brother." Quickly, he interrupted his sentence with a mystic chuckle, trying his best to divert that topic. "Why would I feel happy about her? She is just a mere powerless naive mortal! But... what about you? Why are you indulged with a human when you already have Ivory as a loyal friend as well as a lover... She loves you way too much that--"

"I love her, Czar. You had asked me earlier if I have feelings for her...Why did I choose to tail her like a pet everywhere she went... My answer is yes. I love her way too much." Suddenly, Zeus blurted out with emotional turbulence before him with a straight face, which left him quite awe-struck.

He stood silent without uttering a single word, staring at him straight in the eye. "Woah, I can't believe this! Our true blood almighty alpha has fallen head over heels for a mere human maiden! But you must know my dear brother, if I spill out this secret outside, our pack will be thrilled to hear this! Especially, your mother... I can't wait to watch her scowling face while hearing this magnificent news..." He had an uncouth broad grin on his face as he blurted out his words excitedly.

"You don't need to worry about it, Czar." Averting his gaze downwards, he took a deep sigh out and shifted his glare towards the outside scenario from the giant window by his bedside. "I...myself will announce it before everyone when the time comes... As an alpha, it's mandatory for me to announce the most important decision of my life before my pack... I know...probably...everyone will be disgusted with me but... I won't run away from my feelings anymore." His voice sounded painful as well intense.

"Zeus, I really didn't want to bring it up, but, don't you feel sorry for Ivory? She always stood by your side firmly since your damn childhood! I mean...c'mon man, can you even understand how harsh it will be for her to bear all these? She protected you always with her might and you chose a human girl over true loyalty? And...what about your mom and our dad? And what about our pack? You know it well, how filthy we consider those darn humans! And...being our alpha with such an honor and responsibilities on your back, you fell for a human? And you seem quite bold about your decision! Oh my, it's ridiculous!" Glowering his eloquence harder, he had a disgruntled display on his cast, glaring at him viciously.

Zeus stayed all calm and silent without uttering a single word in objection. But with each passing moment, Czar was turning out much impatient while rebuking at him.

"Brother, to be honest, I always wanted to watch you in a miserable state... I was always envious of the pamper and attention you always had to yourself... But I had never imagined, you would end up digging your own grave! I mean, the person who used to be stringent when it involved the violation of any rule within our pack, would actually end up falling for a human? Are you sure you are not going to regret it? Are you really serious?" He blurted out breathlessly, scowling his eyebrows.

"I won't deny, Ivory has been always a major supporter in my life, a rock pillar. But, once your heart chooses to be with someone who makes you happier, there will be no turning back. And for me...it's only Eva. I already know, there will be enough challenges to tear us apart but I can't hide my feelings anymore." With a painful expression, he mumbled his coarse voice with his gaze still fixed at the horizon.

CREAK!

All of a sudden, their conversing was interrupted as the giant door partitions opened up making a loud noise inside the room. Startled with the sudden intervention, both of them took a glance at the door and found Aelia was standing at the door, looking all condensed with two tall, broad muscular men dapped up in black suits behind her.

"Mom?" Zeus sounded much perplexed.

She boldly walked inside the room with her fiery eyes intensely gazing at Czar. The two men followed her gradually and they had a stern expression on their face.

"What are you doing here in my son's room?" Sharply, she inquired him quick.

Czar was quite displeased to see her suddenly barging inside the room and sighed out heavily. "I came to check on my brother. Why? Is it forbidden for me to be here?"

"Yes, I despise it whenever you try to grow closer towards my son, because who knows, what's inside your nasty mind! I absolutely can't trust a brat like you!" Gnashing her teeth in rage, she charged back.

"Mom, please stop venting your anger on him! And...who are these guys? Why did you barge them in my room?" Quickly he meddled between them trying to diverge the heated moment.

Taking a deep breath inside, Aelia shifted her gaze towards Zeus and replied firmly, "these two men will consistently look after you 24/7 till you regain back your strength. Especially since you are awake, who knows, who might try to harm you again! There are distrustful people still existing in our mansion." While speaking, she slightly peeked at Czar once as if she was implying those crude words to him.

"What? You mean these two men will confine me like a prisoner? What the heck is this?" He objected out aloud.

"Also, my dear son, you are absolutely forbidden from leaving our mansion. These two men will accompany you everywhere inside the mansion, even in your washroom. Your safety matters to me the most."

"But this is confinement. This is wrong--"

"This is my final decision, Zeus." Hoarsely, she interrupted his objection sticking a fierce glare at him. Czar stood still while gawking at both of them at each time being all puzzled.

"This is wrong! I can't stay here confined like this! I...I have to meet Eva... I must see her... I...I miss her so much..." Wondering inside in a perplexed state, he clenched his fist hard.
