"Bang!" With the last explosion, all the zombies were eliminated except for the one still hiding in the dark, commanding them. At this moment, the east had already revealed a faint glimmer, signifying that light would once again shine upon the earth.

Relying on the faint light, Liu Xi noticed that the zombie remained calm and still, standing in place without moving. Liu Xi still didn't order Xu Xiaofei and the others to come down, and he didn't make any move either. Everyone stood quietly, as if waiting to see who would lose patience first.

"Sister Ling, what do you think Xiao Xi is doing? All the zombies have been eliminated. Why is he still telling us not to move?" Xu Xiaofei looked at Zhang Ling beside her with great confusion.

Just as Liu Xi thought it was going to find the person behind it, the zombie actually started climbing upstairs again.

Although he said that, Liu Xi still followed. This time, the zombie stopped on every floor. And it stopped for twenty minutes each time. Seeing that the sun had already risen outside, Liu Xi glanced at the time on his hand. It was past nine o'clock. Sure enough, this zombie was careful enough.

Seeing the zombie stop again on the 10th floor, Liu Xi didn't continue to follow. Instead, he took out breakfast from his personal space and started eating. When the zombie went upstairs again, Liu Xi slowly packed up his things and slowly followed.

And so, around twelve o'clock noon, the zombie finally reached the top floor. After staying on the top floor for about an hour, it started going downstairs again. This dumbfounded Liu Xi. Fortunately, Liu Xi had made ample preparations. He had contacted Xu Xiaofei and the others in advance, otherwise they would have driven the RV down to find him.

To be honest, Liu Xi still thought this zombie was really capable of making trouble. It repeated the same operation all over again. By the time it reached the first floor, it was already four o'clock in the afternoon.

This made its speed much faster. By the time it was almost seven o'clock, it had already arrived at the top floor. After arriving at the top floor, it didn't stay for long. After a simple fifteen-minute stay, it went downstairs again, and this time its speed was obviously much faster. It didn't stop at all, rushing straight down.

Around eight o'clock, it returned to the first floor again. This time, it still didn't act, but it didn't sit down like the previous two times. Instead, it stood upright and motionless.

After four or five minutes, it suddenly turned its head and looked at every corner, east, south, west, and north, before turning back to stand still. After waiting another five minutes, it started looking around again; after finding nothing, it returned to its original position and stood motionless.

This made Liu Xi start to doubt himself! Fortunately, just when Liu Xi thought it was going to continue acting like this, it finally acted. This time, it didn't go upstairs again. Instead, it opened the door to its room and walked to the room behind it.

After four or five minutes, it walked out of this room and walked to the next room. Each time, it stayed in the room for three minutes. Just when Liu Xi thought it was going to continue this nonsensical action, it walked towards the entrance of the passage leading to the basement of this building.

Seeing this, Liu Xi seemed to understand something! Hadn't he overlooked the basement?
