My Evil System
Chapter 55 . . . I Can’t Do It!
"Well. Well. Well. What do we get here?" Jayson licked his lips before he quickly overpowered me away from him.
I wasn't trying to defend, and I couldn't feel my strength from how my knees were quaking hard so I tumbled on the floor. I quickly got up to my feet, no matter how hard I shuddered from where I stood.
"How did you even escape?" he asked though his face told me that he was not really interested in the answer.
I pointed my sword at him and threatened. "S-stop right there, or I'll kill you!" I hoped my voice sounded believable, unlike with my shaking knees and hands.
"Kill me?" Jayson's eyes went wide while he pointed at himself. He then bent over and laughed like a maniac before he sauntered towards me and dinted his chest at the pointy tip of my blade.
"Go ahead. Kill me."
". . ."
"KILL ME!" Jayson shouted, and I flinched and almost dropped my sword.
Jayson laughed a loud before he sneered. "That's why you newbies are cute and annoying. You think that kindness and begging have a place here?"
The back end of his blade swiped against my head. My teeth rattled from the force, quaking my skull. I lost my balance and fell right back into the floor.
He sat over me, the tip of his sword drawing blood on my neck, and my HP decreased at each second.
"The weak have no right in this world! Their only fate is to be trampled by the strong!"
A groan escaped my lips. He was right. I was weak. I couldn't kill him even if my life depended on it. I was brave enough to defend another life, but I couldn't do anything but shake in fear – fear for his life for what I was about to do.
"You're right," I choked. "The weak have no place in this world . . ." I said it more to myself before a tear slipped past my eyes.
Activate . . . [Evil Heart].
. . .
. . .
Thorns of anger poked the back of my pupils. Ahh . . . what's with this annoying sweat in my eyes?
<Welcome back, Evil Host>
I sighed inwardly. He should have activated [Evil Heart] earlier on, and I wouldn't have to find myself in this predicament.
Like usual . . . I'm going to clean his mess.
I looked at the ugly face of my killer, and all I could think was the meat stuck on his broken teeth. I didn't know how long it was stuck there, but his grating voice was cringing my ears, and his breath smelt like a septic tank.
He was going to kill me of suffocation at this point.
"So tell me, how should I kill you? For you, who managed to escape and foolish enough to raise your sword at me. How would you like to die–!"
He didn't finish his sentence when both his hands were swiped clean from his shoulders. He took seconds to know what happened before his eyes went to the sword in my hands.
"Lucy is a little slow," I complained at my blade. "Do you want blood or not?"
Lucy let out a soft, throaty growl while the eyes on its hilt twirled round and round, blood dripping from its razorblade at the many flesh waiting to be ripped.
Jayson was so shocked at his lost limbs that his eyes rounded at me. I was overpowered by the acid odor of his sour breath, the stench of mortal fear.
He scrambled to his feet. He was in a daze while staring at his empty shoulders where his hands were supposed to be. His mouth opened to let out a scream, but no words escaped his lips when I cut off his head in half.
It would be a problem if he let out a single scream and alerted the guards.
Though what happened next was another cacophony of cries coming from the players. But the guards outside didn't notice anything strange. It was a normal thing in their ears.
A normal thing . . . a smile stretched my lips as the information of the players flashed on my screen.
Hmm . . . There are a lot of low-level Tokens here. I thought while my background music was the players' pleas and shouts.
"Hey! Released us, quick!"
"Help us!"
"Idiot, what are you doing? Help us!"
I frowned and placed a finger over my lips. "Shhh . . . If you don't want those guards to come here, then keep screaming and crying. Don't ask for help, idiots."
Everyone looked at each other before they did as they were told.
Good. At least they got brains. I went back to their information because my other self didn't think of it before while he wasted time wallowing in self-pity.
"Hey. Get us out of here."
"Why are you just standing over there?"
"Stop gawking like an idiot, and hurry up. The guards might come."
I ignored them and took a deep breath. There was nothing remarkable about any of them except for one person.

My head cocked to the side. Huh?
She's only two months in here, but why was her INT so high? It didn't make sense.
<It's because she's one of those special players that was bug>
Bug?
<When they were transported to this world, their ATP was bugged>
What do you mean by that?
<It means that her INT isn't leveled like others. Instead of 1 INT = 100 EXP, hers is probably 5 INT = 100 EXP>
. . . Is that so?
My lips kicked up a smile.
Could I make a player a special minion just like Dementia?
<The Skill [Evil Minion] doesn't work on players. However, like what happened with Dementia, you can make a contract so she can serve you. Since Host is already a lord and has your own land, there's an option in Host Territory features that could convert NPCs and even players as your subjects, and they will swear fealty to you. And all their information, location, and items are laid before you>
. . . I see . . .
My grin widened even more.
At least my other self did something right by saving this girl.
I went in front of her. Our eyes met. Neon green like the fresh leaves of spring against twin moons shrouded in darkness.
"Girl, right here, right now. I'll give you a choice. Come and serve me or die here and rot with the others."
