My Ex is my Bestfriend

I went home dazed. My thoughts are scattered. I can't put two and two together. I wanted to just sleep and drown in my sadness. I want to cry it all out. I want to just disappear.

I found my bed and found a friend in it. Without changing my clothes, I jumped in the bed and laid there, tears falling out of my eyes. I didn't know when but I must have fallen asleep because I came to when my phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Hi Cassidy!"

"...."

"Cass? You still there?"

"..."

"Cass? Are you asleep?"

"What?!" I'm stil so sleepy and here comes this guy disturbing my slumber.

"Hey baby don't be mad. I just wanted to talk."

"Who are you and what do you want to talk about?" Baby? The nerve of this guy!

"Cassidy? It's me Ethan."

"Ethan...."

"Yes. Where are you right now?"

"Home."

"Okay." And he hung up. What is he up to? Well I don't care. I snuggled closer to my favorite spongebob pillow and returned dreaming.

I was up again when I heard my doorbell ring.

"Who is that?!" I grumbled and walked heavily to the door, bringing along a bat to hit it with whoever is disturbing me at this hour. I checked the clock, "Eh? Its still 7pm? How come? "

I reached the door and looked at the peephole. Ehtan's here? I opened the door.

"What are you doing here?!" While raising the bat ready to swing it to him.

"Whoa whoa Cassidy chill. I'm not going to hurt you."

"Yeah you won't because you already did."

He froze at that. Seeing him like that, I smirked and started closing the door. Just before closing, he stuck his foot in between, stopping the door from being totally closed. I opened it slightly and frowned at him, "What do you want Ethan?"

"Won't you invite me in? I can't go home. It's still raining." I looked out. Sure enough, the sky is bawling its heart out. I alternated my sight to the rain outside and Ethan, who, as I realized, was soaked wet.

I sighed. I opened the door for him and abruptly went inside. "Please close the door. Help yourself with warm drinks. I have to use the bathroom first." I said that without looking at him.

I cleansed myself inside. Rubbing away all my sorrows, frustrations and anger. I might have destroyed the soap in the process.

Just then, I felt someone rubbing my back. Do I have extra hands? And then I realized someone is really rubbing my back. All the blood flowed to my face.

"Ethan! What are you doing here?" I spun abruptly to look at him properly and found that I lost my footing. "Aahh~"

He caught me by the waist and our faces met, just inches away from colliding. I looked at him. He looked back. I studied his face. He looks so handsome. Water droplets are sliding om his face from the shower, accentuating the hotness of the situation. I found my sight looking at the depths of his. I immediately felt lost in his eyes that I just froze. His eyes burned through me, promising of something. I might have guessed what that is.

Just when I thought of just drowning there in his eyes, Ethan inches closer and our lips met. I was hesitant at first and lightly pushed him away. But his kisses are so good, so passionate that I was lost into it. Feeling the pleasure, the passion, the goodness of Ethan.

So I kissed him back.
