My first love...

It was exactly 6:45 am when Alexa's car enters St. Martin Hospital. She is a 24 yr old medical technologist by profession. She nodded and smiled when the guard greeted her. Upon entering the hospital, she already heard the paging system, "Paging Alexa, paging Alexa, please proceed to ER..." She rolled her eyes and prepared herself to a rollercoaster duty. She entered the laboratory and wear her lab gown and just say "Good Morning!" to her co-staff. Not boasting for herself but Alexa was tagged as the "hustler RMT" of the house. She is always in am duty because of her ability to find all the veins in a human body.

"Good morning!, she greeted everybody in the ER before she started the hunting of veins.

It was exactly 12 noon when Alexa and Myra finish the lab works. "My gosh, I thought we will finish this until our shift ends!" Myra said. "As If your not doing this everyday, even we close our eyes we can do everything in a snap." Alexa answer with a smile in her face. "Let's go to the canteen to eat, I'm dead starving because I wasn't able to eat breakfast." Myra said. But before they open the door, they heard an announcement. "Announcement everyone, there will be an emergency meeting at exactly 1 pm. Please proceed to the Director's office immediately." "What for?" Myra asked but Alexa just nod. Both of the girls go to the canteen to take a quick meal so that they will not be late.

All of the staffs are at the director's office questionning each other of the agenda of the meeting but no one has no idea. The door open and Bella enters the room. She is the head nurse of the hospital and one the closest friend of Alexa. Bella look towards the seats where Alexa and Myra sit and wink at Alexa. She has no idea why Bella did it but she smells something is fishy. The next one that enters the room is their chief medical technologist, Linda, and just like Bella, Linda look at her with a smile in her face. "What the fuck is going on?" Alexa said it only in her mind. The Board of Directors enter the room, the Director herself, Dra. Venice, and her subordinates. "Good afternoon everyone. I have a bad news and a good news,which one do you want to hear first?" Dra. Venice asked them. "The bad news," all of them answered. "Actually its not for all of, its just for 1 person. She was our ace in veins but because of an important request she will be transfer in the executive department," Dra. Venice said while looking at Alexa. Everyone are looking at her while she has a lot of questions in mind. "The good news, we have a new surgeon chief, let us welcome Dr. John Graciano." All of the staffs are shock because in front of them is a very handsome guy in white gown. Alexa cannot believe who is intently looking at her, he was her first love... John!
