My love game is too abstract

#36 - Goblin Archsage

Yarrow stood up abruptly, even more incredulous than when he had first met him.

Owen didn't react to his surprise, holding his helmet and sitting there quietly.

"You, you're also...?" Yarrow said in disbelief.

"Yes, I am also a goblin,"

"Then why..."

"Precisely because I am a goblin, I know how hopeless they are,"

He said calmly.

Yarrow paused, then slowly sat down again, asking:

"What have you been through? Can you tell me?"

Owen looked up at the cave wall and said slowly:

"My father was once a teacher in this tribe. He could read and understand human books, so from a young age, he taught me how to read."

"He hoped to change the backward and barbaric racial characteristics of goblins through education, because we are also a race with intelligence, so we should have our own civilization, instead of becoming green-skinned beasts that only mate and kill."

"He taught the goblins to read, taught them human history, invented more tools, learned to farm, wanted to establish a better system, and also advised them to restrain their desires and avoid STDs."

"But it's difficult, right?" Yarrow asked.

Owen lowered his head: "Yes, his actions aroused the dissatisfaction of the Goblin King. Originally, he let my father be a teacher to teach them human habits, so as to better hunt humans, but my father taught them more advanced ideas."

Owen's eyes flashed with a strong hatred.

"My father was imprisoned and died in prison in a few days, and my mother was also killed by them."

"Only I escaped. Later, I met a team of adventurers. I tried my best to beg them to keep me and teach me skills, and that's how I am today."

"So you want to kill all the goblins to avenge your father?" Yarrow said.

Owen was silent for a moment: "I once thought my father was right, that education could change the brutal nature of this race, but now, I think I was wrong,"

"This race cannot be changed, it is impossible to obtain civilization, because when the gods created us, they had already injected the genes of evil and tyranny into our bodies."

"If this world needs an absolutely evil race, then it is the goblins. We are born to be the most disgusting and despicable existence. In the history books of world civilization, only the ugliest history will be left behind!"

Owen took a deep breath and looked ahead: "So I understand, there is no need to change anything for this race. Only by killing them all can we stop the seeds of sin from continuing to spread."

Yarrow swallowed hard after listening to his story.

To be honest, it was a bit too heavy.

How could a goblin have such a terrifying awareness?

He's simply a great sage among goblins.

Owen took a deep breath, put on his helmet again, and stood up: "That's about it, let's go."

"What are you planning to do afterwards?" Yarrow asked.

"Go kill the Goblin King," Owen said, looking at the sword in his hand, "Kill him, first to avenge my parents."

"You alone? You can't be his opponent, right?"

"It doesn't matter, I've already thought about it, no matter what, even if I die here, I will kill him."

"That won't do," Yarrow also stood up and said to him: "That Goblin King is also my prey."

Owen looked at him in silence.

"However, if you promise to give me his head afterwards, I can help you. You can complete the kill, how about it?" Yarrow said again, extending a hand to him:

"Let's cooperate?"

Owen looked at his outstretched hand: "Are you willing to trust a goblin?"

"After listening to you speaking so passionately just now, it would be a bit unreasonable not to believe you, right?" Yarrow smiled.

Owen was silent for a moment, then extended his hand and shook his.

"Thank you for your trust, Yarrow."

"Ah, but for now, you still have to help me find a dragon."

Charles slowly opened his eyes and found himself tied up.

He looked around and saw that his companions were also tied up all around.

"Where is this?"

"Ahhhh!"

The sudden scream made him jolt. He turned his head and saw that a companion was being hung up and disemboweled.

The bloody scene almost made him vomit. He endured the nausea and turned his head away.

"Charles! Are you awake?"

Beside him, the priestess asked.

"Where are we?" Charles asked.

"Their... kitchen," the priestess said in a trembling voice.

"They're going to kill us all soon, you quickly think of a way, aren't you supposed to know Crystal-level magic?"

"I..." Charles was speechless and could only confess: "I was lying to you, I, I actually don't know any magic at all, not even a little."

"What? You..."

"Roar roar, what a great harvest today! Eleven humans, and a little beauty!"

Three goblins walked towards them, one of them grabbing the priestess's face and taking a deep breath.

"So fragrant..."

"Eek!" The priestess looked terrified, desperately trying to retreat.

A dull-headed goblin squatted in front of her, saying shyly:

"You, hello, miss, um, we're going to be pulling radishes with you soon, um, you might be very busy later, please take care of us."

"No, I don't want to!" The priestess cried out, shouting in despair.

"That's not up to you! We've always done it this way, kill the men and make jerky, keep the women and let us have fun..."

"Excuse me, can, can you make her into jerky and let me stay and have fun with you?" Charles said in a trembling voice.

"Charles, you, what are you saying..." The priestess looked at him in disbelief.

"Shut up! Who the hell wants to play with you, you idiot!"

A goblin kicked him hard.

"Then let's start quickly!"

The three goblins turned to the priestess.

"No! Please, please don't, even if you kill me, please don't..."

"Wait a minute!"

Charles roared again, and the goblins looked over at him.

Charles gritted his teeth and mustered his courage:

"Can, can I join in? Even if... even if you tie me up again afterwards, it doesn't matter."

The three goblins looked at each other and said at the same time:

"You're a beast, aren't you."

"Charles, you bastard! Are you even human! What are you saying right now!" The priestess shouted at him in despair.

"I, I can't help it! I, I don't want to die a virgin!" Charles wailed.

"Who the hell cares about you."

The goblin kicked him hard in the head and continued to turn to the priestess.

She finally closed her eyes in despair.

But after a moment, a stream of hot blood splattered on her face. She opened her eyes and saw that it was the young man who had been following the dragonborn. He had pierced the goblin's head in front of him with a sword, and hot blood was splattered all over the ground.

Yarrow turned his head and said to her:

"Are you okay?"
