My love game is too abstract
#93 - Dress-up time (monthly ticket plus more)
"That damned human! I'll kill him sooner or later!"
In a valley freshly ravaged by violent destruction, the petite Sun Dragon Queen, Airga, sat on a piece of rubble, cradling her head and muttering curses under her breath after venting her rage.
She gazed at her delicate, fair human hands, and the fire of anger ignited once more in her heart. She slammed a fist against the mountain wall, and cracks spread across it like a spiderweb.
Taking a deep breath, she forced herself to calm down.
"No, I can't waste any more time with meaningless outbursts of anger."
She had tried all sorts of high-level dispelling secret arts, but just as Yuli had said, none of them worked. Her form seemed to be locked in from the essence, unchangeable in the slightest.
"Just what is that human's background? To actually possess such godlike magic."
At this point, a sliver of fear crept into Airga's heart. She, who prided herself on having comprehended the mysteries of magic and standing at the pinnacle of the world, had never seen such bizarre secret arts.
"Could that human be an Outer God of Evil?"
She wondered in dismay.
Shaking off the chaotic thoughts in her mind, she began to consider the most pressing matter at hand.
Even in this form, as the Chief Elder, she couldn't stay away from Dragon Valley for too long, or else some dragons might take the opportunity to rebel.
However, the thought of appearing before the dragons in this form filled her with pain.
Perhaps she could use some illusion magic to temporarily transform into her dragon form, but that wouldn't last long and would easily be discovered, bringing even greater humiliation.
Yet, she couldn't simply run away. The sense of responsibility in her heart compelled her to maintain the stability of the Dragon Clan no matter what.
There was no other choice but to bite the bullet and face it.
But before that...
Airga looked at the clothes she was wearing.
Although the clothes were robe-like, they were decorated with too much girlish flair, even with two butterfly knots tied on her head. Wearing them made her feel uncomfortable all over.
Just as she was about to take off the ridiculous clothes, a strange sense of shame suddenly arose in her heart, making her hand gripping the clothes pause.
"Damn it! Why do I care about the body of such a low-level creature!"
Airga's pretty face flushed red, and she gritted her teeth.
However, no matter how she tried, she still couldn't bring herself to be naked in this wilderness, and even felt a strong sense of repulsion at the thought of anyone looking at her.
In the end, she gave up on taking off her clothes and running around naked.
But she was also unwilling to wear such ridiculous clothes; she had to change into something at least presentable.
However, when she rummaged through her personal storage space, she couldn't find anything to cover her body.
Her storage space was filled with top-tier secret arts, priceless gems, the highest-grade magical artifacts, and countless secret treasures, but not a single piece of clothing.
After all, dragons were covered in beautiful scales and didn't need to cover their hairless bodies like humans, so their demand for clothing was slightly lower.
"Tch."
Airga clicked her tongue in annoyance. No matter how powerful her magic was, she couldn't conjure clothes out of thin air; that violated the principle of equivalent exchange of magic power.
There was no choice... she had to ask humans for some.
Inside a clothing store in a small town, Airga pushed open the door and walked in with a cold face.
"Welcome... Eh?"
The shop assistant greeted her routinely, but when she looked up, she saw a little girl with dragon horns, dragon wings, and a dragon tail standing at the door, glaring at her with an icy expression.
The shop assistant opened her mouth, leaned towards the counter, and reached out to nudge the shopkeeper sitting inside.
The shopkeeper was reading a newspaper and frowned at her in displeasure, but when he turned his head and saw Airga standing at the door, he was also stunned.
Could it be that their small-town clothing store was actually being patronized by a dragonkin?
Although she looked like just a young dragon who hadn't come of age, the appearance of a young dragon here meant that her parents must be nearby.
This was no small matter.
"Hey, human, don't you even have basic etiquette here? If you dare stare at me any longer, I'll pluck out your eyeballs," Airga said coldly, displeased that these two humans had been staring at her ever since she came in.
"Oh, I'm truly sorry, Miss Dragonkin. It's just that your esteemed presence has caught us off guard..."
The shopkeeper apologized while busily winking at the shop assistant.
The shop assistant quickly put on a smile, stepped forward, bent down, and asked with a smile, "Miss Dragonkin, what kind of clothes are you looking for?"
The title of 'Miss Dragonkin' made Airga clench her fists.
But thinking that making a move would leave traces and might lead humans to discover that the legendary Sun Dragon Queen had turned into a little girl, she suppressed her temper, took a deep breath, and said, "Just get me two wearable pieces of clothing, and be quick about it."
"Oh, okay, um... Do you need underwear and bras?"
Airga's gaze instantly turned cold, and she said, one word at a time, "Don't bring me anything for women to wear."
"Yes, yes, of course,"
The shop assistant said quickly and hurried off to find clothes.
The shopkeeper originally wanted to talk to her, ask where her parents were, but seeing her terrifying attitude, he wisely kept his mouth shut.
Airga stood at the door waiting, and in just a short while, a group of people gathered outside, looking at her through the glass window.
The noisy discussions also drifted in:
"Wow! That's a dragonkin! It's my first time seeing one."
"She's so cute! Prettier than any girl I've ever seen."
"Her eyes are golden! So beautiful."
"Her wings and horns are so cool! She'll definitely be even more majestic when she grows up!"
Listening to these fragmented discussions, Airga clicked her tongue in annoyance.
It took at least ten minutes for the shop assistant to return, holding a dragonkin-style outfit.
Because their small-town clothing store had never expected a dragonkin to visit, they had very few of these types of clothes prepared, and they were mostly children's sizes. She had rummaged for a long time to find a few that had been stored at the bottom of the box, and then ironed them temporarily before bringing them over.
"What do you think of this one?"
Airga glanced at it. Because she had said not to bring her women's clothing, the shop assistant had specially chosen a more neutral style: a small jacket paired with shorts. Seeing that Airga wasn't barefoot, she had also brought her a pair of small boots.
Airga took it without saying a word, and slammed into the fitting room to change.
Once inside the fitting room, she suddenly realized.
That's not right, she should have just taken the clothes and left, why did she stay here?
But thinking about it, it didn't matter. She took off her clothes, changed into this outfit, and then walked out of the fitting room.
"It looks great on you, Miss Dragonkin! It really suits your temperament," the shop assistant said sincerely.
Airga looked particularly cool and stylish in this outfit.
She glanced at her reflection in the dressing mirror.
"Hmph, only humans themselves would think that such a smooth appearance is beautiful," she thought dismissively in her heart.
But at this moment, the crowd outside exclaimed:
"Wow! So cool!"
"As expected of a dragonkin, she looks good no matter what she wears."
"Is it really because of her bloodline? Even with just a little bit of dragon genes, she can have such a perfect appearance. The Dragon Clan is truly powerful."
"So pretty! She's so beautiful even when she's young. She'll definitely be a stunning beauty when she grows up."
"I wish I could be even a tenth as pretty as her."
Exaggerated praises poured into Airga's ears, and she stood silently in front of the mirror for a long time.
"Um, Miss Dragonkin."
Seeing that she hadn't said anything, the shop assistant stepped forward tentatively to ask.
Airga coughed and glanced at the shop assistant behind her:
"You, go get me a few more pieces of clothing."
