My Mage System



While Alan and Erik was resuming their Dual Cultivation training, in another Royal Suite of the Royal Palace of the human territory, Kevin finally woke up and he immediately felt the reassuring warmth of Axel's body against him.

When he lifted his head because it was resting on Axel's chest, Axel immediately placed a finger on his lips before winking at him and showing him Willow who was asleep leaning on his other arm.

Kevin smiled then and he told him, using their link to communicate to avoid waking up her, 'Willow is so cute in her human form.'

Axel smiled at him and said, 'Yes, she's really cute... How are you feeling?'

Kevin got up a little just enough to better snuggle into his arms and he told him, 'I feel at the top of my physical condition... So much that I feel like going to loot a few purple dungeons to keep increasing my basic Stats.'

Axel then said without hesitation, 'Okay, let's loot a maximum of dungeons then before going on our mission... Let's just wait for Willow to wake up, she shouldn't be long now, and we'll let her train in the Dimension reserve for the Mages while we're looting dungeons.'

Kevin nodded and said, 'You're right, she'll be happy to train too... But she'll need to feed herself first, and it's best if she goes back to her animal form for that, as the food she can eat when she's in her phoenix form is much more nutritious for her than the food we give her when she's in her human form.'

Axel nodded as he said, 'That's true, and in her animal form she'll also be able to absorb more particles and faster, plus, as much as we love our daughter when she's in her human form, I don't want her to feel obliged to maintain that form to please us, Willow is a Divine creature and she must continue to develop her Phoenix senses.'

Kevin trusted Axel completely when it came to this, because he too had a very powerful animal side, so Axel was obviously the best one to teach their daughter to develop her power.

So Kevin told him, while watching Willow sleeping, 'I'll let you talk to her about it then, because you can guide her better than I can about the symbiosis she needs to keep between her human and animal sides.'

Axel smiled and kissed him tenderly, and Kevin suddenly asked him, 'By the way, how long did I sleep? And did anything happen while I was asleep?'

Kevin could hear Axel laugh through their link and then Axel said to him, 'You slept surprisingly during 4 hours, and during those 4 hours a lot of things happened... Fortunately, it's all good news.'

Kevin looked at him surprised and asked, 'What's happened?'

Axel said, because he really couldn't keep this news to himself, 'Erik's pregnant...'

Axel put his hand over Kevin's mouth so that his exclamation of surprise wouldn't wake up their daughter and he said to him when Kevin had recovered from his stupor, 'Don't tell anyone yet, Nolan, Kelan and Dilan don't know yet about it.'

Kevin raised an eyebrow and asked him, 'If the Lan family don't know about it, how did you find out?'

Axel then told him, 'Alan was worried about Erik because he kept throwing up and was still very pale and exhausted, so he asked me to come over and check if I could see anything where Erik was complaining about his stomach ache, and that's when I saw a tiny little glow inside his stomach.

When I concentrated on it, I heard a heartbeat and that's when I knew Erik was pregnant.'

Axel then chose to keep for himself the fact that he had gone to find Miguel and Elias directly in the training dimension, which was now completely useless and deadly dangerous because of the black particles, so he said instead, 'I got in touch with Miguel and Elias because Erik was really unwell and when they came back from the training dimension, they took Erik and Alan to see Esme, the Goddess of Love and Fertility.'

Kevin still found this hard to believe and he immediately asked Axel, 'How is Erik now...? And the baby?'

Axel stroked his cheek and said, 'They're both fine, Esme has been giving Erik potions to help him with the nausea and apparently these potions are also great for the growth of their baby.'

Axel then added, 'Elias told me that Erik is the first Warrior Spirit to fall pregnant so Esme will watch over him… And like that, when your turn comes, she will know exactly how to help you.'

Kevin kissed the palm of his hand that was still on his cheek tenderly and said to him, 'What a relief that they are both fine... And what wonderful news, they must be thrilled!'

Axel smiled and said, 'Of course they're delighted, especially as they weren't supposed to be able to have children together.'

Kevin smiled because that was true, Alan and Erik never intended to have children not because they didn't want one but because they didn't share the Mark of the Union… They should really be happy right now, and then he asked Axel curiously, 'You said that a lot had happened... Tell me about it!'

Axel then told him that Fighters and Mages who lived in Esme's world had already joined forces with them, and that among them a young Mage should be able to become a Priest.

Axel then told him that this man was the reincarnation of a human that Esme had loved deeply a long time ago, and that this man was a friend of the first Warrior Spirits and that he fought alongside them against the Gods.

Kevin was thrilled to learn that a new Priest had joined their rank as well as great Fighters and Mages.

And then Axel told him about Yelena and what happened in the purple…
