My Mage System



Kevin didn't have the time to think anymore and he could understand Axel's feeling, because after all, no matter the danger, he would never leave him too, so he said to Axel: "Use my powers to increase yours, let's go!"

Normally it was Kevin who benefited most from their shared energy, but now Axel was going to have to make the most of it.

Kevin immediately moved on to Stage 3 and all his senses went to a whole new level.

Kevin even sensed the concern of Elias and Miguel who had been the only ones to sense that he had moved to Stage 3 and he said to them, finding it easy to connect to them to send them a message, while covering Lena's light shield with a layer of golden particles which should be enough to protect them all from the shockwave that was going to spread everywhere, 'Dads, you've got 2 minutes and 22 seconds to join us, after that it'll be too late.'

Elias replied immediately, 'We'll be there in time, don't worry, and stay focused.'

Kevin then approached Axel and tore off his shirt to look at his golden runic symbols and when he found the ones that seemed to attract the golden particles towards him, allowing him to go from God level 4 to 8 at the maximum of their capacity, he put his hands on them and said to him: "You might feel the change, but afterwards you'll still have access to that power, so grit your teeth and don't forget, you have only 2 minutes to get ready."

Axel nodded as he was still able to follow Kevin's thoughts and knew that he was going to increase the flow of golden particles that he had so far been able to absorb.

And for his body to be able to absorb this new flow of Golden particles, his meridians would have to undergo another change to withstand it.

Axel then told him, as Kevin was done increasing the flow of Golden particles he was now able to absorb: "I will be ready in time, as for you, never forget that innocent people could be hurt by your powerful attacks."

Kevin nodded, then the shock wave finally unfolded, spreading over a few kilometers its black particles which were deadly for humans, evil beings and vegetation, which had already been destroyed by the previous attacks anyways.

Fortunately, the first villages and cities were far from here, and so they wouldn't be affected by the shock wave, but Kevin could sense that the battlefield that was located a little further behind them, where fierce fights were going on, had suddenly stopped as they all felt his power and Sliman's increase in a way that was as unpredictable as it was frightening.

As for Axel, he was fearless against the black particles that were now in the air around them and he landed on the ground just in front of the entrance to the cave, which was still ravaged by black flames to endure the change that his body had to undergo.

But as if the black flames could sense the danger Axel represented to them, they stayed away from him and from the Golden aura which shone more and more intensely around him.

Axel, who couldn't afford to lose consciousness because of the pain he was undergoing, engraved new Runes on himself that would help him strengthen his meridians more quickly and heal his wounds by increasing his regeneration capacity, which was already among the highest.

But Axel had no choice but to get stronger because, as Kevin had just reminded him, he only had 2 minutes to take advantage of this burst of power and then he'd have to take over against Sliman who, if he had a supply of black pills, could stay at this level for much longer than just 5 minutes.

And that was also why Kevin wanted to increase his powers permanently so that after this change he could fight against opponents of God level 10/10.

And while Axel was gritting his teeth as the pain was almost unbearable, Kevin threw his Chains of Restraint to Sliman's who was shocked by the powers of this Warrior Spirit.

He had never before seen a Warrior Spirit with Golden symbols running not only all over his face but all over his body... And what about the extraordinary power he was now exuding, it was the first time he had fought a Warrior Spirit of this level, and Lilith had been right, he had greatly underestimated him.

And although Sliman had just received a huge power boost, and thought he could get rid of them easily, he was almost struggling to fight just against this Warrior Spirit.

Every time his Golden Chains touched him, they left Golden marks on his skin that gave him excruciating burning sensations, and Sliman even found it hard to follow his movements.

He had tried to change strategy and divert his attention by attacking the Divine Wolf and their friends, but his Golden Chains always appeared from nowhere and protected them from all his attacks without this Warrior Spirit needing to lift a finger.

In the meantime, Sliman had to deal with all sorts of attacks, all made of Golden particles and even the long daggers that this Warrior Spirits used to defend himself from his sword blows were made of Golden particles.

But Sliman was confident, this Warrior Spirit was clearly not in his normal state and the fact that he was able to use this kind of power was bound to have consequences once he returned to his usual level, and that was when he would strike.

He was also certain that this Warrior Spirit wouldn't be able to stay in this state for more than 2 or 3 minutes and that, since the Divine Wolf seemed to be busy with something else and was paralysed for the moment, he might have the opportunity to kill them both when this Warrior Spirit resumed his usual level.
