\"Quinn? What's the matter? Isn't you just came back? Why did you move around already?\"

Nicholas immediately raises questions. Quinn, seated on a single couch inside the library; he was quietly peering at the old man in his 60s. To describe him, he was still well-built, and even look younger than his actual age.

\"Did something wrong? How was Madison? I heard she's not feeling well. I was planning to visit you both tomorrow first thing in the morning after I learned you finally come back.\" Nicholas paused. His forehead wrinkled as he was curious about what was Quinn is thinking.

\"Why are you staring at me like that? Have I aged since the last time we saw each other?\" Nicholas jested while taking the settee across from Quinn.

\"I already know the truth,\" he spoke after his long silence.

\"Hum? About what?\" Yet, Nicholas does not figure out what is this all about.

\"Riley told me already, and so, I need confirmation and the entire story from your side.

\"What is it?\"

\"Tell me, Nicholas. Who really are you?\"

Marveling the way Quinn speaks to him, Nicholas now understands. \"I see. So, you knew now.\"

\"Are you the reincarnation of my son?\"

Nicholas meets Quinn's intense gaze before he answered to him. \"NO.\"

\"What?\" Confused, his forehead wrinkled upon pondering what Nicholas is playing.

Nicholas heaves a long sighed and prepared himself to confide everything. Though this moment has been playing inside his mind, when it is happening in reality, he found it too intense.

\"I'm not being reincarnated, but I was REBORN.\"

\"What?\" Surprised, Quinn contemplates what Nicholas reveals to him. \"Like, when you died from that time, you transmigrated into the future?\"

\"I was, and this amazes me until now.\"

Quinn cannot believe what he learned. \"So then? What happens back then? I mean, how you died? \"

Nicholas studied Quinn. He wants to see if Quinn was prepared to hear more revelation he was about to reveal. \"I died protecting my younger sister.\"

\"Lisa Grace's daughter?\"

Shaking his head, Nicholas replied. \"No. I only have one sister ever since,\" he told Quinn.

\"Are you talking about Carlene? You and she meet back then, right?\" Astounded, Quinn trying to imagine a scenario inside his head.

Nicholas nodded. Tears threaten to fall from his eyes. Quinn cannot comprehend, but he is happy.

\"How did you know that you have a younger sister? Did you meet with Charles?\"

\"Yes. But the Duchess learn about Madison. It was Madison's 18th birthday when the duchess sent people to get her. I'm glad I arrived at the right moment.\"

Quinn still cannot believe this. \"What she wanted with her? Did the duchess know about you as well?\"

\"I see. So that's what happens. Then, you died and?\"

\"Nina Williams married to John Crow, a CIA and living a simple life in Los Angeles. But one day, there is a shot out incident and accidentally, it shot her dead, along with his 7-years-old son.\"

\"Then you were reborn in her son's body?\"

\"Yes. Nicholas Crow was exactly a resemblance to all the Williams. In the beginning, I just pretended to be just a kid. But years pass, I began showing maturity, and my interest in technology and then, to modernization… that's why I excelled in my studies at such a young age. I graduated from college when I was 18 years old. Taking another course, and then, you know that story of mine,\" Nicholas added.

\"And you entered the army, and even work as a secret agent? And you built the Crow Empire after your father receives a hidden wealth.\"

\"Yes. It was you who buried it and I search for it.\"

\"Huh?\" it dumbfounds Quinn.

\"Charles who told me about this wealth. It was you who hid them back in Canada, so I lead an exploration. Also, I look for Lady Isabella. And that is the beginning of our works, to unite the Alliance. That time, the Alliance is not that great.\"

\"I see. I can not fully process yet. It made me speechless and confounded at the same time. All these years, you are watching us?\"

\"Yes. When I saw you being born, I have this unexplainable feeling. I learned from Charles that my parents are living in the future. Maybe it is what brought me here. I was dying, dreaming of you both and my sister as a family. But I was brought to the time your birth parents in this reincarnation is not even born yet.\"

\"But we have another enemy,\" he informed him.

\"Yes. Leroy told me about it already. It was Cassandra's cousin?\"

\"Possibly. I will investigate it. Now that we came into this revelation, maybe that truly the Chen twin is involved in any plot and wants me dead.\"

\"I'll look into it,\" Nicholas promised.

\"Now that I learn the truth, it feels awkward that you will be the one doing these things for your father,\" Quinn commented.

\"Why not? It is normal for children to desire their parents' happiness. I know it was what Madison thinking the same too. That is why, even we will prohibit her to go time traveling, she will do it to bring our mother back to real life.\"

\"Yes. I cannot argue with this matter. Thank you.\" Quinn sincerely thanked the old man.

Nicholas scratches his left temple and chuckled. \"I was way more comfortable when you haven't known yet. Now? It made me speechless making conversation with you.\"

Quinn smiled. \"So do I. Now, it was like, should I call you Uncle Nicholas after the truth I learn?\"

\"But it was way more awkward to call your father.\"

They both laugh. Quinn sat up and stride toward Nicholas to give him a fatherly embrace. He thought he was just close to his uncle than her parents. But the reason that Nicholas was like raising him like his own, is because he is watching his father.

It was crazy to imagine, but surely, there is no story yet that a son waiting for his father to be born again, and he raised him like his son. It looks like a vice verse.
