My twin brother, I will find you

I stared at Jameela's back while she was reaching the door to go out. I was really surprised that her brother, Jack, has a twin sister! I mean, where she was living before her brother disappeared? Did she not live in this mansion? Did she live far away from her family? I really need an explanation. I will try to find an appropriate time to ask her directly. In the end, I ought to have an answers.

I hear someone knocking the door.

"Excuse me. May I come in?"

It was a female voice.

"Yes. Come in."

She entered in and she was carrying a plate. She reached toward the bed and put the plate on it.

"This is your dinner."

"Thank you."

"If you need anything. Please call me." She then went outside and closed the door.

My head hurt when I woke up the next morning. Yesterday I could not sleep until late midnight. I pressed my hand against my head and then I sat down.

"Feeling better today?" The doctor asked.

"When did you come. I did not hear you knocking the door." I said to him after I rise my head facing him.

"I knocked the door and asked if I could come in, but you did not answer."

"Uhh ... I am sorry."

"No problem. Let me check your wounds now."

He removed the splint. He saw that the swelling disappeared slightly. I can feel a slight pain due to the broken bone, but I can bear with it. I saw him remove the cloth that was covering my wound and then he cleaned the wound and put a new one on top of it. He puts back the splint back to its place. After I wore my shirt, the doctor then puts bandages around my arm to ensure that I did not move my arm too much.

"Thank you doctor. I will be going now." I said to him.

I finally went to my room. Took a bath and then went outside. While I was heading to the office, I saw someone pointing toward me. I could not see his face clearly, but as I move closer to him, I saw his face. It was Noah!

"Hello!" Noah greeted me as he pointed his hand toward my left hand. "Hey! what happened to you!" He looked at me surprisingly.

I avoided him and said "Why are you outside. You should be working now."

"Come on Edward. It is not the time to joke. Tell me what happened to you." Noah said it curiously. His blue eyes were sparkling as he looked directly into my eyes.

"You didn't change at all. You will look for answers no matter what." I said sarcastically.

Noah smile and said "Of course, you know me. Now tell me what happened to you?"

"I just fell from the stairs". I answered him.

"You JUST fell from the stairs, nothing else. Come On, it seems that falling from the stairs is NOT the only cause for your injury, unless you are weak, which is true." He laughed.

"It is the truth."

"Huh?!"

I sighed and then tell him "It is fine for me if you do not believe it, but I am telling the truth."

"Hahaha ... Do not worry! Do not worry! I believe every word you say." He laughed while putting his hand against his back head.

"Noah, can we talk later, I need to go to the crown prince's office."

"Huh?! Shouldn't you be resting for now?!" He asked.

"I rested yesterday."

"You did?!"

"Do you doubt me?!"

He did not answer, instead he put his hand on my shoulder and said "Please be careful next time."

"I will, Noah."

I walked away, then I did hear him shout "Hey! We should meet during our free time."

I turned toward him and shouted back "Yeah, we should."

I finally reached the office. I knocked the door and opened it instantaneously. I opened my eyes wide when I did not see her! Where is she? It did not occur to me that she will not be in the office.

The only place I could think of is the hospital, so I went back to look for her.

I gasped once I reached the hospital. I entered through the main gate and walked toward the passageway where the patient rooms are. Once I reached the corridor with a hurry, I spontaneously pumped into someone! It was her! I quickly catch her before she falls.

"Are you okay?" I asked while holding her hands.

"Yes ..... I am fine."

We went outside the hospital while I was still holding her hand.

"Why did you come back looking for me?" I asked her after we sat down.

She paused for a moment and said "I need to know today's schedule."

"You do not need to come all the way here just to ask me about today's schedule. You could just wait in your office until I come back."

"I am sorry."

"It is fine."

I looked at her and said "Umm .. Jameela, I know it is a sudden, but I want to know about the truth."

"You knew the truth already." She said

"But that is not enough."

She paused for a moment, then said "I ..... I can't tell you."

"But I told you could trust me ... I want to help you find your brother."

She looked at me "Huh? ..... You don't have to. My father and I are trying to find where my brother is."

"I mean it."

"What?"

"I am serious. That's why I need to know the truth."

She paused and stared at the ground. "Le ... Let me think."

I knew she is hesitating right now. Well. I do not blame her actually. Of course she will not agree that fast to someone said he wanted to help her, whom she only meet him yesterday.
