My Unique Goddess: AZALEA

Mrs. Son were still furious but she must let go for now. She left with her husband and then the crowd dispersed .

"Azalea, I'm so sorry, I left you." Lindy cried, she can't believe her bestfriend will be put in such an awkward situation.

"I'm fine Lindy, don't you worry, no harm done." She wants to assure her friend that everything is okay with her. She knows that her bestfriend is blaming herself, she made a promised earlier and yet she feels like she didn't keep it.

Azalea hug Lindy tightly, she wants her to feel that everything is fine now and she shouldn't worry about her. Lindy seems to understand her message, she made an awkward smile though she still feels her heart aches for her. But she trust Azalea, if she says she's fine then there's nothing to argue about.

"Ehhhmmm." Ken clears his throat loudly so that his presence can be notice.

"Oh, I almost forgot, Azalea I want you to meet my cousin, Ken Mullen." As she point to the man on her side.

"Ms. Azalea Sherriman Son, am I right?" Then the man flashed his most dashing smile.

Azalea just nod. Then wrinkle her eyebrow. She's thinking about something. 'I think I' ve seen this man before'. She is looking deep in this man's face when another voice interrupt her.

"Well if it's my friend Ken." A deep but attractive voice of a tall man took their attention.

Both man shook hands and give each other a pat on the back. Seems like this two men have been friends for a long time.

"So when's the wedding bell." Ken ask playfully.

"Jack's grandfather is not giving his blessings yet." A sad tone is in Sue's voice.

"What, really!!!... The goddess Sue Antaler can't convince the great old man Shin?" A hint of mischief in his smile. "Seems like your losing your touch my beautiful aphrodite." A sinister smile is showing on Ken's face.

Sue Antaler's eyes rolled and her lips pout. She's making herself look cute for Ken and Jack is only watching her.

Jack and Ken are college buddies and they consider themselves as yin and yang. Jack is the cold businessman and Ken is the warm sports hero. Besides from this factor they really are in good terms.

Ken owes Jack back in college, he saves his life once when he almost drowned in the pool campus. Though Jack didn't hold it against him but he did.

The two met Sue Antaler in one of Ken's Grand Prix tournament, a friend introduced her to them.

Jack is the first one to show interest in her while she is showing her interest to Ken. She keeps on popping in Ken's every event but he keeps on ignoring her specially when Jack is accompanying her. He left and hide for a while and only came back after he found out that his friend is already dating Sue.

"I already ask my old man about our engagement but he told me to wait for a while." Jack seems to be upset with his grandfather.

Jack's family are aware about his current relationship with the Antaler's second miss. They are not against her except for the old Shin. He keeps telling them that he has a plan that need to execute first. Jack is trying to lend a hand to execute it early, whatever it is, but he always response with a "patience is a virtue." phrase.

Azalea and Lindy suddenly felt like a wallflower. This three are only talking to each other and not a care in the world. Lindy look at her friend and she is looking at her feet. 'Oh no, this is bad.' A worrisome thought is climbing in her brain. She starts to move her feet, she already made one step backward. 'She's leaving.' Her brain screams.

Cough.cough. Lindy tried to catch her cousin's attention. And she did. She smiled sweetly.

"Oh... hey Jack do you remember my little cousin Lindy?" He instantly introduce her.

Jack's brows furrowed he is trying to remember her.

"Is she the one who broked your wind shield when you tried to leave her behind your house?" and a mischievous smile appeared in his handsome face.

"The one and only." Ken chuckle.

"Oh... I didn't know I am that remarkable. That's ancient history can't you just forget about it, I was already punished back then." She snorted.

The two men laugh at her reaction. She's still as childish as before though she's a grown woman now.

"And this is her bestfriend Azalea."

Azalea suddenly lift her face and tilted her head.

'Glutton girl?... Who... Me?' She's aking herself. Her eyebrows knit.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I was just so amazed back there, you really do eat a lot like you been starve for a week!" She said it without considering that she might get offended.

Lindy's face darkened and the two men became silent. But Azalea was unfazed she's used to this kind of people who loves to ridicule her eating habit.

"Yeah, I eat a lot, I have an extra stomach inside of me." She said it shyly.

"Really!!!..." Sue seems to be surprised with her confession.

Azalea and Lindy we're astound they look at each other and they want to laugh so hard. "Is she really that gullible" they both thought. 'Pretty but dumb?". Both woman are trying to conceal their laughter, they don't want to offend the so called goddess.

"By the way, when's the next grand prix." Lindy divert the situation.

"Yes!!!.... now I remember." Azalea shout without a care and a beam of smile flash on her face.

Everyone was surprise with her loud voice and seems to be annoyed, but the more shock is Lindy not because she shout but because she smile. Just like an angel. This is so rare.

"You're that car racer, am I right?" Azalea's face is beaming with anticipation.

"Yes I am." Ken is smiling at her and get really curious.

"What car do you own?"

"Well I have a Bugatti and...."

Azalea cut his words. "Is it a Bugatti Chiron?"

"Yes?!?... "

"No way!!!..." Azalea is getting ecstatic. "Bugatti Chiron... with 1480 horse power and runs up to 288 miles per hour... That kind of Bugatti Chiron?" Her eyes are popping in amazement.

Ken smile became wide. He is starting to like her. This girl is quite unique.

"So you know something about cars?" He's getting curious.

"A little." She answered shyly.

"Oh come on, my bestfriend is a mechanic and she can fix cars, of course she knows cars, it's one of her rare talent you know." Lindy's quite proud of her bestfriend's so called talent.

Ken's face lit up. Hearing his cousin talking about her talent put his interest in her more.

Azalea tug Lindy near and glared at her she can feel her cheeks are burning red. Fixing cars is not really a talent for her it's just a hobby she doesn't want to flaunt it in anyone's face.

Jack's curiosity is stirred he love cars too. He also own top notch, luxurious and very expensive cars the only difference between him and Ken is he doesn't race he just loves to drive and enjoy the ride.

He is so curious to see how this small woman can fix big cars. 'It would probably be amazing to watch her do my car.' he thought. And his lips curve upward.

Sue Antaler is beginning to get bored with this car talk she doesn't understand why are this guys are so obsessed with cars, and also this girl. She thought all woman must focus on their looks and always have grace specially in front of any man this way she can at least marry into a good family.
