My Wife Is My Nephew's Bodyguard

Layla put the magazine down, staring blankly in the air. Adrian comes over again after his morning meeting to accompany her. He brings over with nutritious food that he cooks. As per he claimed.

" Love?" Adrian called. Layla snapped out of her trance.

" Huh? Oh, hello mister." Layla greeted, kind of distracted. Looking at him wearing three pieces suits make Layla's face heated. Wow, he looked hot! Damn~

Looking at certain someone that openly checking him out make Adrian pleased. He felt grateful to be born good-looking and handsome. He hopes she could keep staring at him forever.

" I brought your favourite foods and orange juice. Let's eat. I'm hungry." Adrian said pitifully. As she wanted to admire him more, someone stomach growled out.

Silent.

" Pftt! Hahaha...alright, alright. We eat." Layla bit her bottom lip, holding back her laughter. Adrian's face in category thickest in the world as he didn't mind it at all.

They eat peacefully. Adrian keeps putting food into her bowl, and eat what she put on his. He didn't fight over the food with her at all.

Adrian smiled at her constant chatter about this and that. She talked about her life, her foster parent, her friends, her school, and about her crush called 'Zeus'.

'She knew about you for the first time as Brad keep praising you over and over again. He shows her your picture in your disguise. Over the years, the crush turned to love. She falls in love with you. That's why she fought like a madman in that place of the election at that time.' This words of Allen keeps him stronger to hold on, waiting for her to come back.

' Oh, so cute~' Adrian reached out his finger to pick rice on her lip. Layla stunned as she saw him eating the rice without hesitation. She blushed.

At the same time, she felt troubled. His concern and attention make her uncomfortable as deeply in her heart, she couldn't accept this affection from him. Even though he brought over their marriage certificate and photo of their simple wedding, she couldn't bring herself to accept him.

She wants to be honest with him, but she couldn't. It's too hard! Sometimes, she saw the hurt in his dark eyes. When she starts the conversation about her concerns over their marriage, he avoids it.

He said, " Layla, once a wife, you're forever my wife. The woman I swore to live together until the end. Even though you lost your memory over our time together, keep it in mind that you are my, Adrian Chang's wife." that makes her shut up.

She truly wanted to escape. She felt suffocate when around this highly godlike man. His tenderness and affections were hard to bear it. Plus with his amorous, tall body makes her dream something naughty and dirty at night!

' I'm not that desperate or s.e.x.u.a.lly frustrated! Gosh, this man can be the death of me!' Layla cried out in her mind.

She didn't notice him approaching her. She saw a shadow leaned over to her as she looked up. Adrian's lips touched her forehead. Another hot lip landed tenderly on her lips. She stoked. Her eyes widened in disbelief.

Layla sat on the bed in lost. Did he just take liberties on her? This perverted man!

She left alone in the room. She suddenly felt lonely. She missed her foster parent, Mark and Jenny. Are they well? From Adrian, she knew about her accident back then that brings to her two years long comatose. However, she truly couldn't remember anything after her 18 years old memories.

She didn't find it odds as Adrian keep talking to distract her from remembering the past. He said that was her and his worst nightmare. If it's true, then she doesn't want to remember it.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

She startled. She turned her eyes towards the door in confusion. Adrian? Did he leave something? But why bother to knocked?

" Com...come in..." She spoke. Slowly, the door was opened from outside. Two men in casual outfits walked inside. In their hands was a fruit basket and a bouquet of flower.

" Layla?! You awake!" The tallest man strode and come over in no time. His excited face was so familiar. Could it be...?

" Al...Allen? Is that you?!" she stared incredulously at him. Her eyes rolled to another good-looking man that comes together with him. She blinked.

She hesitantly called out, " Fred...Freddy? You're Freddy, right?"
