Myriad Paths

Chapter 367 Fox

I don't know when, the few hairs that were pulled out by the middle-aged swordsman had already reached Li Qi's hands.

Li Qi held his hair and muttered something silently.

The middle-aged swordsman's pupils shrank, then he raised his sword with both hands and stepped forward to stab!

The martial arts inner energy tore Li Qi's body into pieces in an instant, and his body was chopped into dozens of pieces of money!

But the chopped body quickly turned into running water and seeped into the ground.

It's still a god in the body, but this time it's a water god.

The divine energy on the water god's body was severely wounded.

The inner Qi of martial arts is the tempering of countless kinds of Qi into one kind. No matter what kind of Qi is absorbed by those who practice martial arts, what they ultimately condense is the inner Qi of martial arts.

Therefore, the inner Qi of martial arts also has the property of swallowing and corroding other Qi, just like the appetite of a martial artist.

Therefore, martial arts inner energy can destroy all spells, has a special attack effect on all defenses, and can also melt the opponent's attacks when used in defense.

In addition to not having those special features, purely in terms of offense and defense, martial arts inner energy has no shortcomings.

Unlike martial arts, witchcraft is completely opposite.

Wu Dao absorbs a lot of mixed Qi, which is completely different from martial arts, which emphasizes refinement and purity. Therefore, Wu Dao has many tricks, but it is much weaker in serious offense and defense.

For this reason, with just two strikes, Li Qi's two gods had been severely damaged.

It's very dangerous for a seventh-level warrior to be so close.

However, Li Qi was no ordinary seventh-grade wizard.

After the swordsman realized that Li Qi had escaped, he became even more anxious.

But there was no point in being anxious, as all of Li Qi's gods had appeared and stopped in front of him.

Mountain gods and water gods join hands, the sun, moon and gods are hanging in the sky, visions are happening all around, countless divine energies are surging, and the mountain and water vapors are frequently mobilized.

The swordsman took a deep breath and held a sword flower in his sword.

He didn't speak or call out the name of the move.

Not everyone calls out the name of a special move during a fight, that would be too stupid.

But just because he didn't shout doesn't mean he didn't try his best.

He has realized the danger!

Because Li Qi's body was hiding two miles behind the god in his body and was doing it!

Li Qi held up the hair he had just stolen while the swordsman was not paying attention, and used the hair to make a wick, repeating his words in front of an illusory lamp.

This is the curse of the witch!

The wick of that lamp was the swordsman's hair, and it was burning!

The swordsman knew that he had to stop Wu Jin from doing this!

The long sword was unsheathed again, the sword's light was like a dragon, and the martial arts energy was rushing wildly, trying to destroy all obstacles in front of it!

But seeing Li Qi over there——

The more urgent the curse, the darker the lamp, and the dark shadow lingers under the lamp.

The last shadow was dark in color, reflecting the ground alone, motionless. The lamp in the candle suddenly brightened, and the dark shadow was imprinted on the ground forever, like being dyed by light ink, and was burned by Li Qi's hand with fire.

At this moment, the swordsman's sword also arrived as promised.

Li Qi's body was completely shattered!

In the face of martial arts inner energy, the divine energy in the body has almost no defense ability!

However, his sword energy only made it fifty steps.

As the candle burned out, the next moment, the middle-aged man who was attacking with all his strength stiffened up, lost his fighting ability, and stopped all actions.

Veins bulged all over his body, the whites of his eyes were bloodshot, and his lips were purple. He wanted to breathe but it seemed like something was holding his throat.

In fact, his heart stopped beating. A pair of invisible hands pierced his chest, pressed his heart, and pinched every blood vessel in his body, causing all physiological functions in his body to stop. .

The attack that seemed to be able to crush a mountain stopped because of this.

This is a curse.

Li Qi's frontal combat effectiveness is very poor.

But give a witch a hair and the witch will kill you.

The lamp in his hand is the swordsman's life lamp. If it is completely swallowed by the black shadow, that is, Li Qi's spell, the swordsman will die immediately, and there will be no cause of death.

If I had to say it, it would probably be sudden death caused by cardiac arrest.

But Li Qi was not prepared to kill him.

The next second, Li Qidi dissipated the illusory lamp in his hand.

The swordsman suddenly fell to his knees, breathing heavily, and large beads of sweat dripped on the ground.

He stopped because his hands were shaking and his eyes were wandering.

But then, the swordsman raised his head in disbelief and stared at Li Qi.

How can it be! There was actually a Wu Jin who responded within a hundred steps? ! And defeated him? !

He is at the seventh level of martial arts. If he can face Wu Jin within a hundred steps, he should be a sure winner!

However, what he didn't know was what kind of enemies Li Qiping faced.

When he was in Taixue, those proud men who practiced martial arts were faster than him, stronger than him, and their martial arts skills were more sophisticated than him. Their inner Qi in martial arts was far more refined than these 'heroes' ten times.

Although Li Qi doesn't go there often, he still communicates occasionally.

In most cases, Li Qi, who was not good at fighting, would be pushed to the ground and beaten by warriors or other methods.

After all, Wu Jin is really not good at fighting in the ring, and they don't know how to fight in the ring. They just draw a circle and curse you thousands of miles away, and then you really die.

But such a battle is also a good thing for Li Qi. At least, he has learned how to buy himself enough time in the battle.

Therefore, Li Qi was not complacent. He waved his hand and the invisible force directly threw the swordsman out. He flew three miles away and rolled in a circle on the ground.

As for the others, they have already run away.

You can scold people, but you have to run away. People from Baiyue are the best at this.

Only Zen Master Kaiwen was left, who seemed a little displeased with Li Qi's domineering behavior, but didn't say anything.

But it didn't matter to Li Qi. He just stretched out his hand and drew a simple flat map of the nearby area in the air, only drawing the terrain of two or three miles nearby.

But enough is enough.

After confirming the orientation on the suspended flat map, Li Qi stretched out his hand and drew a circle with a diameter of approximately 500 meters on the location of the Buddha sculpture on the map.

This circle is quite regular, because Li Qi's control over the physical body is quite outstanding now, after all, he is also at the seventh level.

Just after he finished drawing the circle, the surrounding scene suddenly changed. An invisible barrier enveloped the surroundings. A transparent barrier blocking everything stood in front of everyone. This barrier stipulated that only people were allowed to go out. No entry allowed.

A circle drawn on a map is projected onto reality and directly changes it.

This is the magic of Wu Jin. In terms of cunning methods, Wu Jin is ranked among the best in the entire world.

However, it may seem magical to outsiders, but in Li Qi's view, this is actually the same principle as stabbing a villain.

Prick a straw man, write his name and date of birth, and then prick him with a needle. The man will be injured and painful, and may even die.

It's just the same now. Draw a map, and then draw a circle on the map to separate this place on the map, and then it is really separated.

As a result, this place was cut off from the outside world, and only two living people, Li Qi and Zen Master Kaiwen, were in this area.

However, it sounds very complicated. In fact, it took less than a minute from the time Li Qi arrived here and expelled everyone here, and the battle only took more than ten seconds.

Facing all this, Zen Master Kaiwen frowned and said, "Donor, you seem to be a little too anxious. What did you find?"

"Danger, the danger of this Buddha sculpture." Li Qi said.

"How do you say this? Dujini is naturally compassionate. Although she once liked to eat people's hearts, she has now become a protector. It is impossible for her to spread anything particularly dangerous." Zen Master Kaiwen said.

He was correcting Li Qi, because it was very impolite to speak of danger to something that Dujinitian had personally arranged.

"It's not about the danger. Tu Jinitian himself may not have any malicious intentions, but it doesn't mean that this thing is safe. That's why I have to drive everyone away, otherwise they may die." Li Qize said.

He did not continue to explain, because it was useless to continue to explain. Seeing is believing.

This time, Li Qi sat down and began to observe the Buddha sculpture with the thirty-two phases as before.

There was no doubt that a new visualization picture appeared before his eyes.

But Li Qi did not use this visualization diagram, he just ignored the thirty-two phases.

First visualize the thirty-two signs, and then combine them with the Buddha sculptures to form that visualization picture.

Afterwards, Li Qi smiled.

Sure enough, it was exactly as I guessed.

The Buddha is characterized by thirty-two characteristics.

So the question is, is the one with the thirty-two signs a Buddha?

Li Qi stood up slowly and recited a verse: "Clay sculptures, wood carvings, colorful paintings, piles of green and gold, if you say this is the appearance of the Tathagata, you will kill Namo Guanyin with laughter."

If we view the Tathagata with the thirty-two appearances, how many are there?

This Buddha sculpture is not at all the ‘Buddha sculpture’ that I saw in front of me!

Li Qi suddenly understood a sentence in the Buddhist scriptures he read, which was called "attention".

In the past, Li Qi even jokingly said to others, "You are obsessed with your appearance."

But now I know what true appearance is.

If you are attached to the thirty-two signs themselves, you will never be able to get in touch with the real Buddha sculpture.

The ordinary appearance of the Buddha sculptures causes the disease of appearance, which is the first level of confusion. It is the second level of confusion to say such and such, and it is also the second level of confusion to view the Buddha with the thirty-two phases.

In this way, it will be far away from the truth and the purpose of the Buddha sculpture will be achieved.

When Zen Master Kaiwen heard Li Qi say this, the surprise on his face almost overflowed.

He glanced at Li Qi in surprise and looked at him carefully.

Then, Zen Master Kaiwen recited a Buddha's name, and then said solemnly to Li Qi: "If one views the Tathagata with the thirty-two signs, the Wheel-turning Saint King is the Tathagata. Although the Wheel-turning Saint King has thirty-two signs, how can he get it?" Like the Tathagata? The World-Honored One uses his words to clear away subtle confusions and make sure that all sentient beings in the future will see them correctly. Today I will tell you the words of the World-Honored One."

"This is what I hear: sounds, sounds, and forms originate from the mind, and the discriminating mind leads to the wrong path."

"The Buddha sees non-form, and you mistake it for form. The Buddha sees non-form, and you mistake it for form. If you look at the Buddha with the nine colors and seventy-two forms, you are free from non-attachment. You cannot listen to the supreme meaning."

"The World-Honored One said: The wheel-turning Holy King has a dignified appearance and has thirty-two characteristics. However, he does not know the Buddha nature, but he enjoys stubborn blessings that sometimes disappear. With the appearance of self, he cannot be at great ease."

When Li Qi heard this, he was excited before he finished listening. He immediately stood up straight and listened carefully.

The words begin with "Thus I have heard," and the words also mention the World Honored One.

These are the words spoken by the Buddha, the Great Sun Tathagata, the legendary Vairocana Buddha himself!

Similar to the teachings of the Witch God in the Witch God Mountain!

Therefore, Li Qi did not dare to miss anything, listened carefully to every word, and then wrote it down firmly.

However, like all languages written and spoken by powerful beings, these languages are clear and easy to understand and can be easily remembered, written, recorded, and transmitted.

However, they also contain some kind of profound truth that can give people profound guidance.

Li Qi pondered these words, while also thinking about why Zen Master Kaiwen suddenly told him what the Buddha once said.

Such words should be kept strictly confidential and only a very few people are qualified to listen.

The meaning of this statement is very simple.

All forms and appearances originate from the mind. If you try to distinguish between them, you have already fallen into the wrong path, and it is difficult to hear the supreme meaning.

Just like the wheel-turning holy king, the wheel-turning holy king looks dignified and has the same thirty-two characteristics as the Buddha, but he does not understand the true meaning, so he will eventually come to an end. Although he has my 'look', he will eventually There is no great freedom.

This is what the World Honored Tathagata said, so... why did Zen Master Kaiwen say this to Li Qi?

There must be a reason for this.

What effect did his words have?

This is easy to understand. What he said was affirming Li Qi's statement and saying that Li Qi's thinking had come into contact with the truth.

So he recognized Li Qi using the words of the World-Honored Tathagata, and gave Li Qi a reminder.

Li Qi didn't answer him.

Instead, he looked at the Buddha statue again.

If the above ideas are true, then...

Li Qi closed his eyes again. This time, he even put away the true rhyme and no longer perceived the outside world in any form.

Then, use the method you just learned.

Li Qi made a seal with his hands, and the small world of his body expanded.

Abruptly, Buddhist visions suddenly appeared around him.

The light of intention emits five colors of light, and the sky above is like a canopy, covering the sun and reflecting the crowd.

Li Qi closed all his senses.

He found that even so, he could still 'see' the Buddha sculpture clearly.

He couldn't tell whether this sense was 'vision', but in the darkness, the Buddha statue did exist there.

However, it is not a Buddha sculpture.

The Buddha sculpture is just an appearance. Being attached to the appearance of the Buddha sculpture is essentially the same as being attached to the thirty-two appearances of the Buddha sculpture. They are both deluded.

Everything seen by the sense organs is appearance, and attachment to the world seen by the sense organs is "attachment."

If we want to get away from this...

Li Qi closed his eyes and started trying.

Within a few minutes, Li Qi opened his eyes.

And the Buddha statue has disappeared.

Instead, there was a drop of blood floating on Li Qi's hand.

The blood of the Five Aggregates Demon is mixed with the blood of some trouble demons, death demons, and heavenly demons, but the main body is that of the Five Aggregates Demon.

Zen Master Kaiwen finally couldn't hold it any longer, his elegance was wiped away, and with the shock in his heart, he chose to worship on the ground devoutly. After bowing down, his face began to turn into a fox face, with four fox tails sticking out from behind.

"Under the throne of Tujini, I started to hear and saw the Buddha!"

He is a fox!
