Mystery: Chaos Path

#130 - The Little Red Gate Fool and Rowling

Medici raised his eyebrows again upon hearing this, then curled his lips into a smile. He glanced at Klein with his red eyes, then looked away after a moment, saying, "…Alright, as long as this little guy can actually help me, I'd even hunt down a Seer for him if he asked."

"Then it's settled!" Roland said, smiling at Klein beside him. "Good luck, Sherlock. If you can satisfy Little Red, you won't have to worry about the potion for a demigod, at least."

If Klein had only wanted to help out of humanitarianism just now, he was now genuinely tempted. Klein's gaze couldn't help but fall on Medici, who promptly handed over paper and pen.

"Write something, Great Detective, and let me see what you're really capable of," Medici said, sounding somewhat nonchalant and sarcastic.

"What's the general theme? What kind of audience is it for…?" As a seasoned office worker, Klein asked almost subconsciously.

Medici was also straightforward, describing his requirements.

Klein listened quietly, then wore a pensive expression. After contemplating for a few minutes, he drafted a title on the paper and began to write furiously.

When the full moon arrived, Mr. Door contacted Roland again. Because the treatment during this time allowed Mr. Door to maintain consciousness during the full moon, he saw three people huddled together, whispering in the small study.

Moreover, two of them were familiar faces: the familiar Roland, and a colleague from the Solomon era. Mr. Door wasn't familiar with the last one, but he sensed a familiar aura from him.

The Source Castle? So, is Roland's student the Lord of the Mysteries in the future destiny?

Mr. Door had some guesses in his mind, seeing the three discussing fervently. Roland didn't seem to notice him, so he coughed in the connection.

"Ahem, what are you doing?" Mr. Door asked, also somewhat curious.

"We're discussing how to reform…" Roland replied subconsciously, only then noticing that the full moon had arrived. He coughed awkwardly, "Bethel, you're here!"

Then Roland snapped his fingers, pulling Medici and Klein into the channel as well, creating a temporary little group.

"Yo, isn't this Bethel? Long time no see, looking so down?" Medici's opening was characteristically sarcastic.

"Long time no see, Medici. I didn't expect you to be resurrected. I thought you'd have been reduced to dust long ago," Mr. Door's tone was calm, but he was clearly a master of sarcasm as well.

"Heh, that's all thanks to that madman you used to follow, who had poor eyesight and failed to eliminate me completely." Medici sneered, verbally criticizing Tudor's poor eyesight, but actually mocking Mr. Door's poor judgment in choosing to follow the Blood Emperor Tudor.

"My vision is indeed inferior to yours, who chose to follow the True Creator, knowing that He is no longer the Sun God, yet still choosing to deceive yourself." Mr. Door's voice remained calm, even tinged with a hint of sigh.

Upon hearing this, Medici was clearly hit where it hurt. If the situation didn't prevent it, he would have fought him.

"Alright, alright, we're all in the same boat, so stop arguing," Roland finally chose to step in and mediate, having watched the drama unfold. He first said to Mr. Door:

"Look at you, you've been sealed in another dimension to the point of almost being completely killed, and the Blood Emperor is also unreliable."

Roland then looked at Medici, saying, "And you're even worse, having died once for real, and you know better than I why you died."

"In summary, both of you are doing terribly, so why are you still poking each other's sore spots?"

In an instant, Roland stabbed both sides in the heart.

Klein, who had been listening from the side, wanted to say something but hesitated. In the end, he decided to help his friend divert attention, lest his friend suffer a double beating.

So Klein coughed softly, saying, "Mr. Bethel, hello, I am Sherlock Moriarty, Jack's student. I will be following you and Jack to learn from you, please take care of me."

Hearing Klein's words, Mr. Door stopped paying attention to Medici. He first looked Klein up and down through the connection between them, then said gently, "Hello, Sherlock, may I call you that?"

"Of course!" Klein nodded repeatedly, looking quite nervous.

To be honest, Klein was both excited and nervous about learning from Mr. Door. After all, this was the legendary Mr. Door!

Although Mr. Medici was theoretically an Angel of War, Klein didn't understand the Angels of War and had lived with Medici for a few days, so he never really felt that the other party was an angel.

Mr. Door was different. This was the most powerful figure in the Apprentice pathway, a being infinitely close to a True God.

"Don't be nervous, just treat me as a normal teacher," Bethel said with a smile, probably sensing something.

Roland patted Klein on the shoulder casually, saying, "Bethel is right, don't be nervous, Sherlock. You've met King of Angels before, it's not like you haven't. If it doesn't work, just think of it as watching an instructional video."

Klein's mouth twitched, but the nervousness in his heart completely dissipated. After all, anyone would probably not be nervous in this situation.

Bethel was somewhat helpless, but also understood that for Roland, King of Angels could probably be described as "mere."

Perhaps only beings at the Pillar level could be considered the same level for Roland… Bethel thought to himself, then asked gently, "Sherlock, I don't know your level of knowledge. Can you learn with Jack?"

Of course, Klein had no objections.

Without exception, first look at the first issue!

Bethel didn't waste time and started today's learning, mainly teaching the methods of making some advanced charms.

This could be said to be high-end knowledge that Klein lacked, allowing the latter to immediately enter a state of serious learning.

Roland also rarely quieted down and devoted himself to learning.

Medici curled his lips upon seeing this, but didn't interrupt, instead scrutinizing what Klein had written earlier.

Even if he had some doubts before, after the discussion just now and seeing the semi-finished product in his hand, Medici had to admit that this little guy had some skills.

In terms of stirring people's hearts, the other party might still be a bit immature, but in terms of relevant systems and theories, the other party's thoughts were clearly able to connect with the Lord.

This guy… is he from the same era as the Lord?

Medici thought of a possibility, but didn't pay too much attention to it.

Time gradually passed in this situation. After learning another method of making advanced charms, adhering to the principle of combining work and rest, Roland decided to find some fun to relax. So he asked seriously, "Bethel, there's actually something I've wanted to ask for a long time."

"What is it?" Bethel suddenly had a bad feeling.

"Were you really outside helping them keep watch when Tudor and Cheek combined?" Roland's eyes sparkled with the light of gossip.
