Naruto: The Template System

In the dense forest near the border of the land of fire,

Tsunade along with Kurenai and Shizune jumped from tree to tree moving forward quickly.

"Sensei, is there a town nearby"

Kurenai was annoyed by the weather today and couldn't wait to leave this ghostly forest.

And there was also this bad feeling that has been worrying her since the morning.

"Don't worry, just a few miles from here there is a town"

The border of the land of fire was quite near the grass village so they entered the fire nation.

They have been visiting every Casino of the Ninja World so they decided that the Casino of the whole land of fire would be their next destination.

Due to Tsunade losing every bet, they can't stay at a place for long since debt collectors are always looking for her.

"This..."

The three of them suddenly stopped as they reached a clear field but were left stunned by the sight in front.

The area around 1000m in front was completely razed, as uprooted trees, destroyed rocks, and numerous deep slash marks were everywhere.

There were numerous potholes everywhere around as the ground in front was destroyed.

But what caused them to be stunned was the long divided terrain which was hundreds of meters long and equally deep as well.

"What happened here?"

Kurenai broke the silence as she couldn't help but ask.

"It seems that a fight occurred here"

Tsunade said while looking at the battlefield.

"Who is so strong to cause such devastation"

Shizune couldn't help but ask as she looked towards Tsunade for an answer.

"Look carefully there are sharp cutting marks everywhere and even that long divided area seemed to be cut by a sharp weapon most likely a sword or a strong Wind Style User"

Tsunade looked at the small slash marks everywhere and analyzed the situation.

"As far as I know, there's only one person who can cause such destruction by a sword"

Shizune looked towards Kurenai who also looked back as they both seemed to guess something.

Whoosh...

Both of them suddenly disappeared from their place as they ran forward with their faces full of worry.

"Wait..."

Tsunade tried to stop them but seeing them running in worry she quickly caught up with her disciples as she also had guessed that who was the person who caused this destruction.

After running for a minute, they finally arrived at the core area of the fight as they spotted 4 bodies lying on the ground.

The three of them quickly arrived near them.

"This... is Sensei"

Tsunade endured the fear caused by the blood and spoke with a shocking tone as she recognized the corpse lying nearest to them.

"Lord Third"

Both Shizune and Kurenai exclaimed in horror as well as they were terrified.

Kurenai extinguished the fear in her heart as she moved forward to look at the other corpses since she suddenly remembered the reason why she ran till here.

Soon, she saw a beheaded corpse and a dead body wearing a cat mask.

As she looked at the last corpse, time seemed to stop at this moment.

A black robe tainted with blood and black hair and with some red hair falling on the forehead.

The figure even with his breathing stopped had a smile on his face like he died regretless.

"No!!! No!!! No!!!"

Kurenai screamed in her heart hoping the sight in front to be an illusion but as she kept moving forward the face of the figure became clearer and clearer.

"Ahhh"

Kurenai screamed with all her might as she fell beside the corpse and she touched its face with trembling hands.

"Wake up! Please Wake up, Kozuki! don't leave me alone, Please!!!!

Kurenai with tears falling continuously from her eyes shook the lifeless body in front but there was no response

Tsunade and Shizune who were sad after seeing the corpse of Sarutobi heard the wailing of Kurenai and immediately arrived near her.

"No!!! How is this possible?"

Shizune who arrived near Kurenai saw the corpse in front and recognized it immediately.

She also fell beside the corpse and shook it violently but like before no response came.

"Who...who did this..."

Tsunade roared in anger after seeing the corpse of Kozuki in front.

"Please, Wake up Kozuki,"

Kurenai and Shizune didn't care for her anger as they cried in agony and despair.

Hearing them cry, Tsunade calmed herself as she sat beside her disciples and hugged them both.

Soon, both Kurenai and Shizune passed out by the shock as they lay quiet and exhausted in the embrace of Tsunade.

Tsunade placed them both carefully on the side as she made several seals and placed her hands on the ground.

"Summoning Jutsu"

A small green slug appeared as Tsunade immediately ordered the slug to report the situation here to Konoha through reverse summoning.
