Naruto: The Twin Flashes

"Damn it!" A hand hit a tree and it belonged to Kaito who gritted his teeth. "Where did you ran off to, Naruto?"

It was one thing to run and hide but it was another for now that he had to search for him. Kaito´s temperament also slowly got the better of him. He became more restless by the second.

Every little moment could be a disaster since he knew that Mizuki had a lead in the search on his brother. And those other ninja joining that bastard didn't make it any better. So Kaito had to act fast.

The thing is that he couldn't find either of them. Naruto nor the ninja that attacked them.

There were also just too many god damn places to look at. Sure there were a few tracks that he found and followed. But they were probably only present where Naruto got attacked for sure. The thing was that they stopped or led him nowhere.

He had to say that Naruto knew how to hide. That was for sure. Either that or the pursuers are smarter than he thought. Neither was a good sign.

Kaito also cursed his inability to sense any chakra nearby. That was actually the only thing he never bothered about exploring in his training. Now that this topic came to bite him in the arse he made a very urgent mental note to improve in that ability.

"Fuck it." he clasped his hand together and concentrated. He let his chakra gather around himself and then tried to disperse it like a water ripple into the area around him. "Come on...." He repeated the process more than once until a message appeared.

"That useless, damn it." Kaito cursed again since he didn't get the dėsɨrėd result. Besides that, he could only feel freaking trees around him. This ability was a waste. At least at this level.

´Okay, I got to calm down...Concentrate of the wind around me...Right...What did it feel like again when I felt my own chakra? A flame inside my body. Now...If I spread this sonar and concentrate on flames it should give me more information. It gotta work...´

He started to enter a meditative state where he activated his sonar once more and infused some wind chakra into it.

"There!" And before Kaito could be happy about developing this skill he felt weak ninja signatures close by. He started to immediately rush that way.

Because he left the skill toggled he felt an immense increase in someone's chakra reserves that made Kaito frown at first. But because it stopped and went down he sighed in relief.

`That feeling...Naruto? No...that should be the Nine-Tails chakra. Gotta hurry.´

Rushing from one tree to the next he finally reached a group of 3 ninjas searching for Naruto.

With his teeth, he grabbed cord around it that kept the scroll closed and ripped it off. Now he could roll it open which he did with just letting it roll through gravity on its own.

Then after he infused chakra into the scroll it let a katana appear out from it with a burst of smoke.

He grabbed it and it all happened in just a split second.

Before the three could react to the smoke he was already behind one of them and sliced his tendons to immobilize him. And with a clean kick to the side of his head he was finished off and K.O.

Then he rushed to the next guy who defended his katana with his kunai but Kaito easily outperformed him and sliced his left arm off before he smacked his pummel into his face to also knock him out.

"Damn it! You monster!" The last guy was afraid and printed some signs. "Fuuton! Great Breakthrough!"

Kaito slammed the Katana into the ground and printed lightning fast. "Doton! Earth Wall!" After the attack was absorbed by his wall he grabbed his katana again and slammed it through his wall.

Looking at the small MAP at his side he could see the ninja not having moved at all. A smirk appeared on his face and he printed again.

"Raiton! Lightning Sword!" Because his katana was a chakra blade he could easily combine it with Jutsu and so he did. The Jutsu shot out and pierced the ninja clearly after hearing his scream. Then after confirming his hit through his senses he concentrated and changed the nature of his lightning.

"Senbon!" The Lightning changed and instead of only piercing him it started to travel the ninja´s body - perfectly paralyzing him now.

After he released both his wall and stopped his lightning sword he could see the guy squirming around on the ground in pain.

Kaito approached him. "You are lucky that I don't have the intention of killing you traitors. The ninja prison will be hell enough for you." He said those last words before he kicked him unconscious.

Then he looked at the bleeding guy and frowned. he had no time to take medical measures. So he printed again and gathered fire chakra on his hands. Then he scorched the wound shut.

Confirming none of them are dead he sealed their chakra and roped them to a tree as fast as he could. Then he charged off into the direction he felt his brother to aide him. He could feel how he was getting weaker in chakra levels.

That meant those ninjas were definitely attacking him. Luckily the skills of these Ninja are so trashy. But that could not be said about Mizuki. And then there was probably even more ninja that were searching for him.

While he ran around he found Iruka on the ground struggling. "Iruka-Sensei!" Kaito stopped and looked at his wounds. He immediately started to treat him with the mystic palm. The wound was slowly closing up.

"Kaito...I am alright. You need to get to Naruto." Iruka looked at Kaito and felt him treat his wound.

"It´s alright. Just now I felt that those guys lost track of Naruto. The scattered to find him. I will make some emergency treatment and we will have a better chance to help Naruto with that." Kaito said those words professionally and internally he sighed in relief because he could see on his map that Naruto was hiding and skillfully avoiding the others.

He managed to shake them off and buy them some time.
