Naruto: The Twin Flashes

"Why is our Team´s Sensei so damn late!?" Naruto was bickering around and even started to look outside the classroom if someone was approaching it.

"Naruto, just sit down or something." Sakura sighed while looking at his antics. She was probably annoyed by his overly hyper attitude.

"But the others were already picked up at least half an hour ago, damn it..." Naruto didn't bother about her words and thought something else. Then he snickered a little bit and placed a trap above the sliding door.

It was a sponge filled with chalk dust that would stain the person on whoever´s head it would fall.

"What are you moron doing now!?" Sakura frowned while watching what he did. "Hey, Sasuke. Why don't you say anything to him?"

Sasuke´s response actually was a slight glare at her. She flinched and looked somewhat sad suddenly. Her reaction was to only sit down again and sulk somewhat.

"Did something happen with you two?", asked Kaito when he noticed that behavior.

"Yeah! Don't treat Sakura-chan like that!" Naruto was also already back from his preparation and got mad at Sasuke. He immediately tried to support her.

"Its nothing, really. I just told her she was annoying. She is clearly talking too much. It´s even worse than you lately, Naruto.", replied Sasuke with a smile.

"Ugh...You." Naruto looked at Sakura. "Don't mind him, Sakura-chan. He probably just has a bad mood today."

"Seems rather serious in my opinion if nothing happened...You know you need to function as a team. Better solve that problem at some point." Kaito shrugged his shoulders since he didn't care that much.

He only gave a slight hint to keep the moral up since he was worried that disharmony would affect the performance of the team.

Sasuke just sighed. "I really mean that it was nothing. She just said something I didn't like. That is all. She will get over it. Besides, I don't really care if she sulks over that."

"That is still being a jerk!" Naruto was starting to argue again.

"What? You want to try and shackle me again while eating? Be warned that it will end up differently this time." The glare sasuke gave naruto now was pretty much the same he threw to Sakura.

Kaito only sighed to this so-called harmony in this team. Just then the door opened and someone came in.

Everyone's attention was also triggered if the person who came in was hit by the trap. And it actually did hit.

Kaito, on the other hand, noticed how the person reacted looking up and seeing the trap. He could have dodged at any time but just let it hit himself on purpose.

Kaito his pupils contracted a little bit. ´That agility is really something there. He probably could react to my FTG. And he is smart. No wonder he was considered a genius. But what is up with that poor Luck stat...?´

At first, Kaito was rather disappointed. But thinking about it Kaito was kinda reaching some deadlock or something with his own stats since he rarely improved them any longer. So considering he didn't improve it meant he was reaching the limits of normal training or something.

That is until today that he saw Kakashi. Looks like Kaito became a little bit conceited ´Time to ramp up my training...´

On a side note, Naruto was bȧrėly in the '20s with his stats. The highest being VIT with a 28 followed by STR at 24.

"Well...For a first impression, I would say I don't like you one bit." Kakashi started to talk now. His voice was a little muffled from his cloth in front of his mouth.

The trio looked disheartened by that evaluation.

"You could have dodged that...Why didn't you?" Kaito asked straightforwardly.

Kakashi looked at him with his only eye because the other was hidden by his headband. "Hmm. You must be Kaito Uzumaki. Red hair, sharp look." Kakashi made a happy expression. "I like you."

By those words Kaito kinda got the creeps running up his spine. ´What the hell is this guy thinking?´

"But to answer your question. You are correct. I could have. But do tell me. Why did you play a prank on me? Would you do such things to your comrades? I shouldn't have to feel vary about my own comrades. Now do I?"

These words hit the other three somewhat. Especially Naruto looked somewhat apologetic now. "But you were late, Sensei...", he said in defense.

Kakashi only sighed a little. "Let´s go outside. The fresh air will do you good."

With that, they met up outside.

"Now, let us begin with introductions. To get to know each other better. What are your likes and dislikes and what are your dreams in the future?" Kakashi started with his basic thing.

"Hey, hey. Why don't you introduce yourself to us first...", said Naruto back.

Weirdly enough Sakura supported that sentence. "Yeah, you kinda look suspicious."

"Me first, huh? Fine then. My name is Kakashi Hatake. I don't feel like telling you my likes and dislikes. My dreams are things for sleep and I got many hobbies."

"Wow...Why did you even start this if you are being so vague about yourself?", deadpanned Kaito."At least tell us something..."

"Alright. I like reading. That should do. Now it's your turn." Kakashi pointed back to them.

"That still didn't say much. He basically only told us his name and that he reads stuff like any other normal person.", commented Sakura.

Naruto grinned "Fine, I will start. My name is Naruto Uzumaki. I like ramen and if it's for free and paid by Iruka sensei, it´s even better. What I don't like is the wait for the ramen to be finished. Oh, and I like my brother the most!"

That brought a slight blush on Kaito´s face because he didn't think he would say something like that. A smile surfaced on his face.

"He makes the best ramen after all!"

Kaito only sighed right after that...He immediately got depressed. ´Damn it Naruto!! Give me back my good feelings!!´

"And my dream is becoming the Hokage and let everybody acknowledge me being the greatest shinobi! And hobbies I guess pranks..."

Kakashi rubbed his head in the realization of his hobby.

Then came Sasuke. "My name is Sasuke Uchiha. I don't like anything and I hate a lot of stuff. I also don't have a dream but an ambition. To restore my clan and...to kill a certain man."

"Damn that´s gloomy. You still on that trip, Sasuke?" Kaito interrupted him. "Also, what is that clan restoration? Till now you ignored most girls?"

Sasuke became flustered and his gloomy attitude vanished. "There are other ways to that. And I still have time for that."

"Oh, so power first and the woman later? I see you want to brag about it?" Kaito smirked a little.

"Shut up! I won't let myself get told how to handle woman by someone as dense as you!"

"Huh?" Kaito raised both his brows.

"Now, now. Don't fight. Let's just continue, okay?" Kakashi interrupted their little quarrel.

"Kaito Uzumaki. Likes - Good food. Dislikes - Bugs. Dreams...." Kaito halted for a second there. Come to think he never really thought about it, "...I guess becoming a God among Shinobi should be fine?"

Kakashi looked somewhat curious. "Why not become the Hokage? That would be the same."

"Nah, that definitely is not the same. Besides, I hate paperwork. I already have a lot to do with that stuff and can say it sucks. You can add that to my dislikes."

"I see...Well, what about you, then?" Kakashi looked at Sakura now.

"Well...What I like...The person I like....YEAH!" She somewhat mumbled on her own and didn't really answer the question. The only thing that did come out clearly was her dislike "I hate these two twins!" She pointed at Kaito and Naruto.

Kaito only sighed but Naruto´s heart broke that moment.

"Well, since we are done with the introductions. I will now tell you what will come. There is still a test for you. It will decide if you become true Genin or go back to the academy. So be warned."

"What! I know that! Don't you dare deceive us!" Naruto shouted now and clearly remembered the last time someone tried to pull this.

"I don't. You really will go back."

"You..." Naruto gnashed his teeth.

"Naruto, I think this time it is real. Calm down." Kaito reassured it was the real deal.

After Naruto calmed down and didn't say anything Kakashi continued to explain to them that they would meet at the training grounds the day after. To make this a real survival training they should not eat anything to simulate the dire situation most shinobi are in.

Then he disbanded the group till the next day.
