Naruto: The Twin Flashes

Kaito was meditating in a lotus position. It was his trademark way of entering his Instant Dungeon. His face was frowning and sweat was running down his otherwise tranquil expression.

Inside the inner space stood a massive rock akin to a mountain with a door embedded in it.

The door itself was also humongous and the frame of the door had eerie oni faces depicted on them. They were what one would describe as the typical demons from Japan with horns or long noses and black wings and many more like actual Kizune.

And what was depicted on the door was also what was inside it. Kaito had entered this created monster den and was currently fighting demons of various strengths.

Monster dens were those places where Kaito mainly could farm experience and level up and he had done so with his other available monster den to him that was goblin themed.

Until now that is.

At first, he stopped using that den because it was bȧrėly giving anything back anymore.

But when he finally reached level 20 with hard work this new monster den was able to be summoned. Kaito immediately got curious and intrigued at what level this den was, which is beside the fact that it had an interesting theme like horror.

Little did he know that horror...had two faces. Hearing stories was fascinating. Experiencing them was another matter.

Entering it he was at first a little bit disappointed by seeing level 2 monsters running about like wisps.

But what made him jump around erratically now and avoid getting stabbed to death was a very special monster he would have definitely tried to avoid at all costs.

That was about everything he could get as information from the mythical spider demon that devoured souls.

It was already one thing to even see monsters out leveling him but also getting attacked by a Legendary monster that also had a skull ranking added to it meant it was even stronger than the monster den bosses that would spawn after Kaito defeated a certain amount of monsters in the old monster den.

And what made him slightly despair was the door in monster dens reopened only after a certain time inside them when one entered. They were double-edged swords with a lot of gains and of course...death.

Well, Kaito would have thought about challenging this humongous spider that was crawling around the trees and spitting acid at him. But that one spider was sadly not the only one surrounding him.

There were many small fiery red spiderlings running about everywhere. Those small death skulls on their bodies only told death to someone and in this case, that would be Kaito if he even let one of them get him.

Also...HE FUCKING HATED SPIDERS! Those disgusting creatures brought the worst out of his goosebumps.

'Fire Style: Roaring Dragon Bullet!!'

What made things worse was that Kaito had little to no AOE Jutsu in his arsenal that could damage these critters At least not heavily.

The reason simply being because those shits were actually emitting flames themselves. So they were born with fire affinity and could resist it well.

That information of course came at some cost of him wasting chakra he needed currently to keep his body vitalized to not get any slower.

Good thing he learned that skill. It was created after he was experimenting with his chakra natures and tried to copy the Raikages technique.

In some form or fashion, Kaito even thinks he succeeded.

The following message from his system made him even happier because after a level up a certain thing happened that he thought he would never see it again because it became a complete rarity. It was like you had more chances to get the jackpot than actually trigger a quest.

But being here he knew the quest was a freaking bait of the reaper.

'You are fuċkin trolling me!! I was so fuċkɨnġ baited into this!!' Kaito could only further grit his teeth while thinking about the quest again until he had to refocus and play tag-and-dead-I-am with the spiderlings.

When Kaito finally heard a crisp sound he immediately pumped his last remaining chakra into his technique and sprinted to the exit of the monster den.

Charging right out of it he released his technique and breathed heavily with having nearly no stamina left to even stand properly.

Kaito was flabbergasted after reading all that and then looked at the scroll that was magically in his hand now. Was he made fun of or was the system actually serious and simply stating facts?

Then what the hell would he had gotten at an actual rank? Well, F was a rank but goddamn taht was like the worst and most humiliating one. What would have he gained as a reward? And what exactly is that S rank skill mentioned?

Now he felt like a fuċkɨnġ moron not trying his everything and running because he felt threatened. If push came to shove he could have just thrown million of freaking explosion tags and pulverized everything in that damn monster den.

"Urgh...creepy." That was his first impression and the design of the eye actually reminded him of the Jorōgumo, festering his regret. It really nearly pushed him to tears like a small child, sob.

'Hmm? It shows the world in black and white, opening the nerves to the supernatural?'

After reading the description of this technique he was actually really interested. Also, it would become his own Doujutsu! That meant the possible birth of a new Kekkei Genkai!

But that thought was soon shattered after reading the last line.

'Fuck. That. Shit.' Closing the scroll Kaito ignored the prompt if he would want to learn the skill and pressed no and just stored the scroll in his inventory.

Sighing deeply he just went out of his instant dungeon since there was little to no use remaining here.

After all, the Golbin Monster Den was F-Rank and this new one had a freaking power curve with a 3 skull enemy being at level C.

He is better off training outside. When he left a small black orb traveled from the sky inside the dungeon and a soft sighing female voice resounded. "He could have done something if he used his status points...Does he even remember them?" The orb jiggled lightly afterward. "Well, more fun for me."
