Natural God's Gift

Compared to other insects with only one God-given seed, Four-Leaf possesses four or five God-given seeds, naturally not paying too much attention to the most ordinary one.

After dealing with the morning glory God-given seed, the two insects headed to the seaside. The mangrove God-given seed was planted at the end of summer. Being a large tree, it grows very quickly. After several months of growth, it has already reached more than two meters in height, almost as tall as Lucky Clover.

At the end of last year, Torch Mountain Master built many tide barriers at Calabash Beach. At the beginning of the year, Japanese Knotweed Mountain Master scattered many mangrove seeds at Calabash Beach and even spent a bit of energy taking care of them.

Over the course of a year, many mangroves have grown in the intertidal zone to resist the sea breeze. The mangrove God-given seed among them doesn't look too conspicuous.

Taking care of the mangrove God-given seed is relatively troublesome because this is the intertidal zone. When the tide rises, it often brings various small animals from the sea.

Animals like crabs also dig holes and run around in these places. The life seed is still small, and it would be terrible if it got hurt.

"Damn crabs!" Four-Leaf kept cleaning up various animals around the mangrove God-given seed. It had clearly set up more than twenty spiderwebs around it, but there were still many crabs and clams sneaking into the webs.

It knew that the reason it now had the Flame Spider Kingdom supplying it with evolution resources was entirely because it was still very small and didn't need many evolution resources, and also because the kingdom wanted to study the mysteries of its abilities.

If one day the kingdom lost interest in its abilities, it might cut off its resource supply. Even if they were generous, they would at most raise it to a mid-level warrior, and then it would have to fend for itself. It had to think of various ways to earn primal stones.

Working for Four-Leaf now didn't pay wages, but Four-Leaf promised that its God-given primal force food would be sold to other internal spiders in the kingdom at a 20% discount, and it could also buy primal force food from other spiders at a fair price.

This was already very good, but what Danggui lacked most was primal stones. It didn't let go of any opportunity to earn primal stones.

Danggui helped Four-Leaf clean up the small animals nearby, and then, under Four-Leaf's guidance, found the several stone dams where it was supposed to meet. Calling them stone dams was actually more like calling them insect-made puddles. Each puddle was about one hundred square meters, and ten of them were over a thousand square meters, enough for Danggui to mess around with.

Danggui dug up the mangroves in this area and transplanted them to other places, and threw all the collected shellfish into the puddles.

Four-Leaf shook its antennae repeatedly when it saw its operation. How could this raise shellfish?

So Four-Leaf instructed it to dig away a layer of sand and soil and store more water so as to leave space for the shellfish to grow.

Danggui obediently followed Four-Leaf's instructions. For the next period of time, it would start digging mud and sand every day as soon as the tide receded.

And it didn't know what method it used, but it fooled Angelica dahurica into helping it work. Anyway, Angelica dahurica was idle every day, and wandering around in the Hundred Fruit Forest was almost becoming a pest. All the spiders, big and small, in the forest agreed with it going to dig pools.

Sometimes, when Four-Leaf was done with the things in its claws, it would also help them dig for a while.

Although the sand and soil in the intertidal zone were easy to dig, the three of them were too small, and it took them a whole winter to barely dig a half-meter-deep pool.

However, Danggui and the others collected many different kinds of shellfish everywhere. Although Angelica dahurica ate many of them, it was enough for small-scale farming.

Danggui crushed the primal stones into gravel size, and then kept guarding near the pool. As long as the shellfish opened its shell,

revealing the meat inside, it would use a small wooden stick to jam the shell open and stuff the crushed primal stones into the shell.

Although this method was crude and inefficient, Four-Leaf had to admire that it was simply a genius.

The three insects would dig pools and stuff crushed primal stones into the shells when they had nothing to do. The entire winter, which should have been uneventful, was also spent very busily by them.

During this period, Angelica dahurica successfully evolved to the seventh instar and incorporated the rapeseed God-given seed that it had been thinking about into its life sac to nurture it into a life seed.

Four-Leaf and Danggui also evolved to the sixth instar, but Four-Leaf didn't have a God-given seed as a life seed to nurture in the sixth instar.

Maple Leaf Lord gave it a top-level plant seed of the power system, the Chinkapin. The value of the primal force food produced annually by this kind of top-level plant seed can be said to be no lower than that of some herbaceous God-given seeds.
