Helvi and Theo finished their medicinal herb picking without issue.

Even if something did happen, Helvi would make sure it ended quickly.

Before they headed back to town, they stopped in the middle of the forest and ate the boxed lunches Helvi made.

“It’s great!”

“Fufu, I see. Good to hear.”

Said Theo with his mouth full and a cute smile.

He always said that, but it always made Helvi happy.

She had a little trouble making lunch, but if it meant hearing those words and seeing that smile, she would make as much as he wanted.

“You’re really great. I just had to teach you once and you got the hang of it right away.”

“That is because you are such a good teacher. Anyone would learn quickly.”

“…Not Xena.”

“…Then it’s because it’s us.”

Both thought of Xena, the girl with the ever present energetic smile, who could not cook no matter how many times she was taught.

“I’ll make dinner as always!”

“Yes, I am looking forward to it, and will help a little.”

“Yes!”

Theo started thinking about what to make that night, and remembered the ingredients in the shopping district, as he ate Helvi’s boxed lunch.

Helvi also looked forward to his cooking every time, and made sure to not peek into his head so as to not find out what he was making.

After they finished having lunch, they returned to town and made their way towards the adventurer guild, where they delivered the medicinal herbs to Fiore.

“Yes, the amount is just right, and the state of preservation is perfect as well. I expected nothing less from you Theo.”

“T-thank you…”

Theo said with an embarrassed smile after being complimented.

Theo always reacted the same way when Fiore complimented him, and she made sure to do so every time. And since the other receptionists knew about this, they would stop whatever they were doing to watch when Theo entered the guild to report that he had completed a quest.

Most women in the guild felt mellow, as if watching over a child.

Obviously, this included Helvi, but she was a little different.

(Ahh, cute… I am thinking I will be unable to contain myself again tonight, so we will jump in the bath after we are done eating…)

She also thought he was cute, but as a wife, not a parent.

The previous night, Helvi did not initiate anything for the first time, basically meaning she did not go to Theo’s room.

Usually, they would be in the living room together after taking a bath, and Helvi would attack him once the mood felt right.

Helvi remembered the phrase ‘if you can’t push it, pull it’, and decided to try it out, although in her case, it was not as though she could not do it.

The result was better than she expected.

When it came time to go to bed, both went into their own rooms. After ten minutes Helvi pondered if she should go to Theo’s room, but then…

The door to her room was opened, and although Helvi pretended to sleep, she was incredibly excited.

She wondered if she should read his mind, and ended up opting not to.

She would soon come to realize this was the correct choice.

As Theo looked at Helvi, under a blanket and facing the other direction, he also hesitated many times before getting into bed with her.

He got close to her back, and tried to peek into her face.

“Helvi… Are you asleep?”

He asked quietly enough to not wake Helvi if she was asleep.

Obviously, she was not, so she heard him, but tried not to respond, as she repeatedly thought to herself ‘if you can’t push it, pull it’.

And then… Theo started by himself.

He tried to contain his voice, since Helvi was sleeping right next to him, but a sensual voice would leak out.

Helvi immediately realized what was happening, but was frozen in place for several seconds, trying to process it.

The strongest being in the world showed a fatal opening for the first time in thousands of years.

However, the person in the room with her was not one to something about such an opportunity. It was Theo, who was doing something by himself.

There was no way she was going to resist.

Literally at the speed of light, she got on top of him and started doing what they had been doing for days.

Afterwards, Helvi decided to employ the same strategy once in the following days, but as she stood beside him in the guild, she realized she would be unable to contain herself that night, and would go to Theo’s room herself.

After reporting that the quest had been completed, they left the guild and headed towards the shopping district.

There was only one thing that trumped what they did at night, and made Helvi a little more excited. Holding hands.

What they did at night was more fierce and incredible, but somehow, walking around town while holding hands made her a little embarrassed.

She had no problem being seen by anyone, but she was not used to the act of holding hands itself.

Helvi had no idea why this was the case, but believed she would eventually get used to it.

“Let’s go Helvi!”

“Ah, yes, let us go home.”

“Yes!”

Theo said happily.

That night, Theo and Helvi fell asleep in bed together, after another very happy day.
