Jay's P.O.V (still)

The week flew by and it was Saturday morning I had a late start since I had nothing planned today before a phone call came in. It was from grandpa.

"Hey Jay how is your leg?"

"It's been better."

"I got a call from Felix the right hand of the Wingman's young princess. He said that he wants to form a brotherhood bond with us. He also mentioned something about the princess being interested in you as well."

"Yeah long story short I helped her." Gun sees me on the phone and leaves my brunch on the coffee table in front of the TV. "Once you get the bond sealed get them to send Amber to my school it's easier to keep an eye out for her there and I get to have a taste of the Ice's blood."

"Now, now you still have a useless leg and you are not allowed to get your identity revealed." He is warning me to not blow my cover.

"Yeah about that I wouldn't have to if you can put me and Amber in Michael's class. Surely you can manage that right gramps?" I plead. He reluctantly gives me the okay and I get to my meal when it is still warm. "Gun I want to get this stupid cast off already. It's been a week and you know that my injuries never took more then 10 days to heal." Gun looks at me with cold eyes for some reason.

"You gotta be kidding me Jay. You and your stupid healing ability." Gun takes the cast on my leg in his hand and crushes it instantly.

"Let me take a look." He then rips the remains of the cast and starts inspecting my leg which only had a faint scar from the bullet wound.

"Your leg seems okay...try walking." I nod and get up to walk I feel awkward at first but there is no pain or anything so I try jumping on my left leg. Gun nods in approval gives me the okay. Now I was finally cast free.

Ever since I was tortured by my own aunt and uncle, I discovered my ability to heal faster then normal people. I small cut would be gone in just a few minutes and a completely shattered bone from a bullet would heal in less then a week leaving behind barely any visible scar. I guess I should thank the asshole and his bitch for helping me discover this amazing and convenient ability. Thanks to my IQ I mastered western and eastern medicine and created a remedy for any type of injury and the remedy would heal the wound in just a few hours. Perfect for fast healing, and it was portable too the first prototypes were tested out on enemies we captured almost dead and it worked with some side effects like swelling and severe infection, but I stayed up all night for a month straight to perfect for usage. At that time all I can think about is how I can carry the pain of others with me instead. Thanks to the remedy I got everyone that were injured back on their feet in no time and they all thanked me, pledged royalty to me and, and grandpa. If only I could have finished the remedy sooner. I might have been able to save mom and even dad too. If only I didn't hesitate back then they would still be alive right?

A bitter smile made it's appearance on my face.
