BOOM! BOOM!BOOM!

From all sides of the castle came harsh thumps of metal hitting the floor. The exterior of the castle was suddenly enclosed with thick metal sheets, no light could penetrate in and the entire castle took on a gloomy, dark aura in an instant.

The creepy giggling of childish laughter echoed all around them hauntingly, as if they were little playdolls being pulled along by invisible strings.

Behind them both the madam and the young master had disappeared, leaving only the players stuck in the dim castle.

In such a suffocating silence, on the side of his waist, Chu Yi felt something burning onto his skin. Before he could look, in the next second, the young masters shrill voice tuned in his ears.

[The Jesters game is a little diffrent from the rest. You won't get a timer as per say but on the side of your waist is a little mark. As time goes on, the mark will grow bigger and bigger until it finally takes over your whole body. When that happens you'll be more beast than man. ]

[Therefore, your task is to get out of the castle by sunset by finding the clues like the other servants . You must ensure that the children are very happy, or else you'll have to play with them forever. You must fulfill there greatest wish.]

Lifting up his shirt, there was a tiny butterfly mark situated right at his pelvis, occasionally the skin around the mark would wiggle quietly, moving the wings of the butterfly.

Chu Yi lazily traced his finger along the lines of the butterfly, a subtle shiver racking his body at the touch. The skin there was very sensitive but Chu Yi insisted on touching it, a narrow smile showing up in his eyes.

This was the type of excitement he pursued.

Right now he could only hear the sound of his own heavy breathing, his heart beating slower, but heavier, puffing and puffing, as if it was about to smash through his chest. There was scarlet blood in front of him, his tyrannical intent was not dissipated, and his mind swept like a violent wind, trying to destroy everything.

Breathe --

A violent desire to kill from nowhere erupted.

Longing to fight, longing to be kill, or perhaps longing to be killed- the dangerous temperament, contradictions of destruction and self destruction are all over , but compared with the fierce and dangerous appearance, Chu Yi''s tone is unusually soft and gentle, like the whispers of the devil, tempting sentient beings.

"Shall we begin?"

Zhao Pengyu who also received the same notif, shivered when he looked at Chu Yi, a beautiful black rose has been born.

The prey in front of him scattered like ants, unaware of the true danger that lurked behind them.

Chu Yi waited unhurriedly in the hall, calmly leaning against the walls, watching them go with hooded eyes.

It was a small bit of mercy for the body carnage that was bound to come.

"Ba-DUMMM"

Outside the castle was pouring rain and lightning, the branches and leaves of the wild peppercorns were

dancing wildly and in a mess. Most of the branches were crushed and broken, and only half of the roots were still in the cracks. In the clanging sound, countless waterdrops fell, singing a holy song of death.

Stretching his body, like a lithe panther getting ready for the hunt, he moved.

Step by step he walked.

It was time.

****

Hiding on the third floor of the castle was Peng Qi. Truly deserving of his wits, the man had quickly found himself a meat shield amongst the players. Xiong Qi had already gone half mad with horror, mumbling incoherently, with drool leaking sideways from his mouth. It was an absurd miracle.how he was even alive till now and Peng Qi immediately took advantage of that fact and dragged him all the way to the third floor.

He was probably the most frantic of the bunch of players because he, himself had seen how grotesque his death would be, brain matter splattering across the castle walls, if he didn't leave quickly.

At this moment, he was doing his best to pry open the doors of the restricted rooms, not caring even if the locks became damaged in the process. Everytime the door would open, he would shove a unresisting Xiong Qi into the door and let him bear the brunt of whatever would pop out before going in to to see if there were any dolls.

He didn't know if it was just Xiong Qi's good luck but he had somehow managed to survive all the previous doors and right now , they were on their fifth lock.

Peng Qi, belatedly realized that he had already managed to acquire 6 clues.

This was definitely a cruel yet efficient method and with the rate he was going, maybe he would already have all his clues before the end of the second hour.

Before he could continue, there came the sounds of footsteps making their way up the stairs, immediately his ears perked up vigilantly, arm tensed around the talisman in his hand.

[<Name: Peach Symbol

[Quality: Unique

[Effect: concealed breath for half an hour]

[Note: When you are in danger, crush the peach talisman and sprinkle it into the air, and you will be able to completely hide your breath.

Danger level: 11 ]

At any given moment, he was prepared to crush the symbol and immediately make a run for it.

The clues meant nothing,if he had to die for it.

When the first head appeared in view, however Peng Qi immediately let out a sigh of relief.

Although a player wasn't much better than a monster right now, at least he had a fair fighting chance against them.

What appeared were two players, a male and a female.

When they caught sight of Peng Qi and Xiong Qi, there was brief moment of consternation before they walked over.

"Before we begin our search, let's propose a temporary truce. We'll search one side of the floor and you'll search the other. Therefore we're both even and there no reason for us to fight now."

The man at the front decisively proposed a truce, there wasn't much time in the first place and if they delayed it by fighting here, maybe none of them would be able to get out at the end.

The true infighting hadn't begun as yet.

Peng Qi thought about it biefly before agreeing, getting out of the castle was the top priority right now.

The two groups separated, with them taking the left left. Although they witnessed Peng Qi's cruel method of ensuring his own safety, neither of them spoke up.

Everyone had their own lives to protect, and taking care of others weren't something they were keen to do.

The woman was named Lui GiuPing and the man was An Xuefeng.

Both of them had been acquaintances outside of the shuttle and had been fortunate enough to meet each other and form an team.

They divided the labour easily, PingPing was in charge of opening the doors and the man would go in to see if their were any dangers.

Seeing that Peng Qi hadn't encountered any danger so far, they were somewhat relieved and in turn, sped up the frequency of opening the doors.

Nevertheless, by the tenth door, they had only managed to find 4 clues. The clues resembling copper shards, sending a low jingle from the mans pocket.

This would not work, 1 hour had already passed and so far, neither of them had managed to find enough shards and they were already starting to panic.

When panic, started to set in, the huam nature would become truly vile, instead of continuing their futile search, they turned their gazes to Peng Qi who had already reached the 15th door and was leisurely counting the shards in his hands.

As if sensing their intent, he immediately looked up them vigilantly, hands clenching at his side.

An Xuefeng made up his mind after seeing that their were at least 20 shards in Peng Qi's hand. With an ugly sneer, he spat,

" You are really a good, really good indeed. Knowing that there are no clues on this side of the floor you purposely left it to us. Watching us make a fool of ourselves and wasting precious time."

"You bitch. What luck to meet such an evil bastard like yourself, if I dont beat you to death today, I, your father, will change my name to yours."

Without giving Peng Qi a chance to react, the man pulled out a huge silver bat, stained with a bloody mark.

[Name: Widows Bat

[Quality: Common

[Effect: Once the bat touches flesh, the bat will automatically take over and continue to batter until the person is dead ]

[Note: A lonely Widows murder weapon. After finding out her husband's wayward affairs, she took his favorite bat and beat him to death.

Danger level: 44 ]

Seeing that things weren't looking good, Peng Qi immediately started backing up, abandoning Xiong Qi, still standing in a daze in favor of avoiding the swinging bat.

While they were fighting, stealthily, Lui GuiPing, made her way over to Peng Qi's door, ignoring the other man standing outside, she immediately began a hasty search of the room.

"Found it!"

Grinning gleefully, she pulled out a broken doll from underneath the bed, two copper shards attached to its neck.

Yanking it off happily, she the the fool to the side and immediately made a run for the door.

But it was at that moment she felt the blood in her veins freeze over.

What had once been an open door had now become sealed with glass. She slammed against the door in horror, but to her despair, the glass felt like fortified steel and no matter how much she pushed against, it stood their unbreakable.

"AAHHHHHHHHHH"

She slammed into the glass over and over again,, even as pain wrecked her body from the force.

She didnt want to die.

After what felt like eternity, the door moved but unfortunately it wasn't as she hoped

The door started moving inwards towards her.

The glass had begun to close in .

By this time, An Xuefeng had already noticed the trouble over here, and tried to help but even after slamming the bat against the glass, it didnt budge, only fine cracks appearing where the bat met the glass.

Instead it began to speed up.

The liberated, Peng Qi laughed at them with an evil sneer, now it was their turn to panic and run. He stood with crossed arms on the sides, watching the farce play out.

Closer and Closer, the walls had already started crushing her body, a gradual heart-wrenching pain cruising through her body!

She could still see the helpless despair in An Xuefengs eyes even when slamming the bat over and over again on the walls.

The cracks on the glass grew bigger but with it the harder she was crushed!

"No, no, no, no, no!"

"Just a little more!"

She should still be able to be saved, she should——

The glass was indeed fragile, breaking with a kick, but as it shattered, the glass wall suddenly sped up, closing shut!

With a scream, bright red meat paste splattered across the walls of the completely closed glass corridor. Two bloody arms fell limply from the hands holding them to the ground.

She'd become a true "person in the wall".

The complete, sweaty handprints she'd just made were even still left on the inside of the glass.

Dead silence.

Even Peng Qi's smile was wiped off his face. Although he was happy that she was dead, but this also reminded him of his own possibly gruesome death and looking at the pile of meat in front of him, he couldn't bring himself to smile anymore.

An Xuefeng stared numbly at the mess of ground flesh in front of him.

She was dead.

Clap- Clap- clap.

"What a truly exciting play "

Out of the shadows appeared a man, a white mask covering the lower half of his face.

Even if the obstructive facial mask covered half his face, it could not damage his beauty at all. His skin was white as ice and snow, and the red of pupils of the eyes become darker and darker in excitement as he stared at them, the tails of his eyes slightly raised. They are obviously naturally attractive, but they are hidden by the cold, indifference especially when he looked over, the slight grin at the corner of his red lips was undisguised.

"Let's play another game ok?"
