Nisha of the Red

19 Good Karma

Nisha wanted to kill herself more so than Temple. How could she succumb to his lustful whims as if it was the most natural thing to do. Vampires usually spent several lifetimes to find their one mate. But yet the moment she ends up reincarnated, she gets married to the first shady mortal she sees.

Her beautiful eyes glared at Temple's sleeping form. The pressure that radiated from his body was massive. It gave off the feeling that he was a sleeping devil. She sighed dejectedly as she looked a the mystical marriage band on her finger. Temple explained to her before he passed out that the Blood Oath that they were supposed to do was a binding partnership. It was only limited to once both sides got what they want then the oath would end. And this binding partnership only needed the exchange of fluids rather is was blood or saliva. But Temple took it upon himself to make the seal as a kiss, but the nature of the oath changed the moment he wanted more from her.

Since the body she now has was a virgin and she bled due to her hymen being broken. It mutated the oath and her feeding on him during the process sealed the deal. It was an ancient marriage Blood Oath that wasn't really practiced today for good reason. Once in a marriage Blood Oath, the couple in question must commit to each other. It made sense if the relationship was based on healthy practices on modern era earth. But on Norhid, the Blood Oath binds the couple in question in life and death. One cannot survive without the other, and in terms of cultivation you can either improve or fail base on your partner. The cultivation technique that the couple practice before marriage will no longer be valid. The married couple must perform coupling marriage techniques to advance in strength.

It sounded manageable, but most of the time the cultivation of the couple must resonate with each other if not it then the couple will be doomed to never improve. The couple will always know where the other is at, so it was easy to say a lot of partners found their spouses cheating. There was also a karma system in place that forced the couples to treat each other well, but it was flawed. Good karma could be accumulated inside the marriage and outside. For example, if your spouse had ill intentions towards you, they just need to gain good karma outside the marriage rather treating his mistress well or contribute to society. The spouse in question won't be punished by heavenly might, which is bad karma. Divorce wasn't an option unless one was willing to go through heavenly tribulations. So far, no one in history was able to survive such harsh conditions.

Thus it didn't take long for the ancient Blood Oath to be quickly forgotten and thrown out the window. Currently, in Norhid, men had the say in relationships and the nobility practiced polygamy. The higher the man was in status the more concubines can be married to him, but the most a man can have is one main wife. She sighed again to exist once again in a time where a mortal male can claim ownership over the opposite sex.

Nisha used her vampiric vision again to see Temple's unique physique that's heaven-defying. He was born already at the Iron stage, and since then he was able to cultivate at the speed far beyond a genius. Cultivating to the next level within a stage in five years was considered a super genius, but Temple only needed a few months to advance. However, something that was so amazing had extreme drawbacks. At a certain point clogged flow-ways would develop without notice. In Temple's case, his spiritual energy was clogged at two points the entry to his heart and slightly below his navel. The blockage is permanent which always resulted in death, because of his unique physique, his body will automatically keep on sucking up the spiritual energy around him. Since the collected energy has no way to transform his body to carry more, he would explode, or the energy in his body will break down to a cellular level.

Nisha placed her hand gently on Temple's searing hot chest as she debated with herself if she should help him with his dilemma. If he did die, and she should die due to the Blood oath, it wouldn't be a problem to resurrect herself. But she didn't know the true extent of the mystical Blood oath, was it just a mortal death? or a true death?

She didn't want to take the risk and decided to develop good karma instead. Nisha used her vampiric vision to have a closer look at the blockage. It looked a sheer tube substance that acted as a network sandwich between his nervous system, and blood vessels. The blockage at the entryway to his heart and below his navel was a clot. She didn't know know what it was, but she can tell that it solidified.

Nisha uses her 'vampiric will' to connect with the clots where the lights were concentrated at. Her 'vampiric will' looked like a deep crimson fog that seeped into the pores of his skin. But on closer inspection of the fog, it was extremely tiny red threads. The red threads reached the clots and connected with the hard substances. Instead of breaking it down to smaller pieces, she seamlessly wiggled them loose so she could extract them as a whole. It didn't hurt the sleeping man, at most his brow creased a bit.

However, once she extracts the clots she was sure he'll be in immense pain. It didn't take much thought for her to force the clots through his organs. She couldn't wait to see his expression in pain. Her 'vampiric will' altered his cellular wall to a genetic level. She inputted data that gave instructions to his genetic information from the inside out. Her 'vampiric will' were like countless fingers typing madly. She made it so that the gaps between his cellular wall expanded to the size of the clots and to contract like a muscle to natural push out the clots. And just as expected, Temple's eyes flashed opened while his body was drenched in sweat. Anybody could tell that he was about to move and fling her hand away, but he stops in his tracks the moment he felt the blockage in his body had moved. He didn't say anything but averted his eyes to the culprit for his outrageous pain.

He was greeted by Nisha's dazzling smile and ruby like eyes.

"Don't move, I'm conducting surgery."

Temple was well learned and knew what she meant by surgery. He averted his gaze from her and closed his eyes. She was slightly disappointed but overall impressed by his tolerance for pain. Instead of playing around some more, her 'vampiric will' extracted the clots successfully. Nisha returned his genetic information back to its original state.

She heard Temple let a breath as his abnormal heat risen to soaring temperatures. Even though she could usually withstand his aura, but this time around she was still weak from drinking his blood. She moved out of the way his aura touched and put up her unstable frost aura.

The pain was reflected in his handsome features as the collected spiritual energy ran wild in his body. It was reforming his vessel and breaking it down again every time he entered a new stage. After several intervals, the light in his body dimmed significantly. She saw Temple sat up from his side of the bed, still panting for breath. On his body, black sticky tar toxins oozed out of his skin. She held her nose closed as she moved further away from the stinky man.

Temple looked at his hands, then his arms, and checked the rest of his body. His eyes widen in disbelief as his eyes finally rest on Nisha. He saw the beauty holding her nose while she used a few sheets to cover her body.It didn't take long for him to use his aura that now took the appearance of intense flames. He used the flames to incinerate the filth left on his body after his breakthrough.

"How?" he simply asked while still stunned.

Nisha threw him the clots that were the source of his blockage.

"These were the clots found in your body," she replied breathing the fresh air that now filled the room.

Temple caught it with ease and looked like the so-called clots that almost ended his life. Two red crystalized stones that were no bigger than a pebble. It radiated huge amounts of concentrated fire spiritual energy. They were spirit stones. He laughed from all the pit up frustrations he held in. He laughed for his new lease in life.

Nisha looked at the man and figured that he knew what the clots were. It was easy for her to know what it was with her 'vampiric vision'. It was condensed spiritual energy.

"Ultra high-grade spirit stones," he finally said after his fit of laughter. "Somehow my body was able to create spirit stones."

When Nisha heard this she realized that she miss identified the 'clots' in question and instead they were 'calculi', stones that developed in the body due to buildup.

"It makes sense, it's leftover buildup from the spiritual energy that your body constantly absorbed." She said while she took her place back in the bed again with the intention to sleep. "As promised, you must help me."

She closed her eyes and stuff her head into the pillow. Temple looked at Nisha in a new light. She acted like nothing happened after she cured him of his fatal illness. He crawled up on the bed as he felt a strong force pull him again to the sleeping beauty.

"Leave me be!" Nisha said with her words of power. The door abruptly opened as a force of wind blew him out of the room. He didn't resist her power as he stood naked in the hallway.
