Nozomanu Fushi no Boukensha

Episode 580: Port Cities and Anomalies

"... but it's good to work out, but there's something I have to do too. You might have to wait a little longer."

That's what the Capitans have said, so I snort.

"Garb tells me. You're looking for sea spirits, aren't you? The place is called The Labyrinth of the Daughters of the Sea God."

Then the Capitans were surprised,

"I know you're hearing this from Garb, but you know where I'm looking a lot?

That's what I said.

I guess Capitan hasn't spoken to Garb that far.

According to what I first heard in the Lucalis Adventurers' Union Guild, it was usually the right way to ask a fisherman, so I might have asked the Capitans to keep that in mind, even as a galb.

I was talking about asking the fisherman, even if it's not that easy, but I wonder if that means that there are such handouts in Capitan and Garb.

"It was as soon as I asked the Adventurers' Union Guild. Capitan seems to be popular inside, as an adventurer, and soon found out. Besides, the Labyrinth of the Daughters of the Sea God is a relatively famous labyrinth. I knew the main product, though somehow. Well, still, I just got here today, and I don't have a bigger story than that. It would be better to ask the Capitans first and then save money."

"... I knew you had come a long way as an adventurer. It's kind of dependable. It only took me a few days to gather stories about the possibility that the Sea Spirit Grass could be taken in the Labyrinth of the Daughters of the Sea God..."

This does not mean that the Capitans are incapable, but probably because they are not the main business of the Capitans in the first place.

I usually talk to the public and buy information about various places.

There are many of them that I don't know when the hell I'll be able to use, but I can't do it foolishly because I always remember and help at times like this.

If Capitan had done so with a single adventurer, he would have been able to quickly find out how to obtain marine spiritual grass, but his main business is the hunter of Hathaler.

I can't help it all.

"I'm used to this sort of thing. Walking in the woods, 'cause even if you know the trick, you're not actually gonna get inside unless you try it every day for some time, right?

"Sure...... the difference in the season. I can't help it all. Not so much activity outside like this"

"I can't help but feel the difference in talent in the first place because I'm still in the copper class..."

"The copper class would have a width as well. Besides, I burned my hands at the bad character of the Adventurers' Union exam. Plus, I almost just got through it with a force push... you're not, are you?

Capitan also has a certificate of being a bronze adventurer, so he's taking a bronze promotion exam.

So I know what it is.

Although the content varies from time to time, what we generally have in common is the poor character of the Adventurers' Union, which I would have also tasted Capitan.

However, that is only a test of strength to be a copper class, so there are times when you can manage to push the strength that jumps through.

The fact is that Capitan was a master of Qi and could have done so because his combat abilities would have far surpassed those of a normal bronze test taker.

But naturally I couldn't do that...

I answer.

"Only a few people can push that thing through... I can't do it"

"It seems more like a challenge with a positive offense... well, you mean unsuitable. However, silver exams seem to work out fine with you right now..."

Capitans say so, but it would be something called overestimation.

I say.

"I'm glad you said that, but honestly, I'm still feeling underpowered. I want to work out where I can work out by the due date. Especially since you were still in the middle of training for Chi, right? It would be dangerous to refuse to use something with a burning blade now, but I thought I would do it because I could only stretch out a little bit more of what I've been piling up about Chi."

"I see... I just want to find some sea spirits whenever I can... I wish I had a fisherman"

Saying so, I can still tell that I was going to ask the fisherman initially.

I ask.

"I wish I'd been there, aren't you?

"Oh. Usually...... or when I used to come I saw quite a few fishermen in the city of Lucalis, but now it's refreshing"

I'm new to Lucalis, so I don't know what it's like around there, but the race I do see was besides the human race, there were a lot of beasts.

It was not that there were no fishermen at all, but the impression is strong that they are quite rare to the extent that they are seen very rarely.

"Why not? Suddenly you moved somewhere or something?

People have a strong temperament to stay in one place, but many other races have temperaments that are not.

Conversely, some are more confined to the land than to the people... but the fishermen are considered to be more migratory in nature in one way or another.

It's not an impossible story.

Capitan says to this.

"No, that's not it... Can't you even say that? In a way, yeah. Because not many of them live in Lucalis in the first place. Offshore of Lucalis, they make and live in the sea. I often come to Lucalis to buy or sell merchandise. Well, still, there were quite a few people who came out to work and lived in the city... but now it's a situation where most of them, including them, have gone to the middle of the ocean."

"... Something wrong?

Every race has some environmental reason to make a big move.

Even this seemingly peaceful Lucalis may have something going on.

That's the question I asked, and Capitan answers this.

"Oh... you know The Demon King, too, right?

"Of course. There are only four bodies in the world, it would be the pinnacle of the demon"

He is said to have such a powerful power that no one can fathom me in line with the dragon I was eaten.

It's just strange that some things are powerful demons that aren't in here, and some things I don't really understand the definition of.

For example, the alleged existence of "The Vampire King" is not "The Demon King".

There are a number of other beings that would have the power to be called the Demon King, but they are not.

I've also asked Lorraine why, but she doesn't even know.

"Demon King" was a term that has been used for quite some time, because the original meaning has not been passed on to the people.

What the hell is wrong with them that are such beings?

Capitan continues.
