NPC into Player: Let's Wreck This Game

Yet all of sudden his brave butler sent him a message.

'Busy doing many things,' he replied.

'Heard some rumors of your presence in the town.'

'And?'

'Nara… she seems quite agitated.'

'Something bad happened?' he paused in his tracks while waiting for his butler's answer.

'It's you that happened,' Antoan sent before adding, 'and that hot mayor as well.'

'Oh… that's it then,' he heaved a sigh of relief before continuing his walk.

'Believe me,' he said, 'she is quite mad at you right now.'

'I'll find a way to handle her later,' Bloom closed the chat while cursing the envious nature of women.

As he rented a room in the hotel and finally was alone and secured inside, he took the two rings from his inventory.

"Let's see what you two sweet babies hold for me as a surprise."

His eyes were greedily shining while holding the two rings and flipping them through his fingers. He left his blood over the two before using two of the illumination stones.

Then he started to check the rings.

"Damn!" he couldn't help but suck a cold air of breath when he just checked the first ring he got from Anna's uncle. "He was filthy rich… that bastard!"

First the ring was silver grade with a spacious area inside. The entire place was littered in gears and gold coins stretched on the ground, making a very nice and alluring gold carpet.

"What are those?" He took out a strange dark fruit-like thing and tried to feel it in his hands. "It's soft," he felt the tender texture of it and when he slightly used some force a dark green juice came out of it.

"Gross," he muttered before checking it.

"The heart of the black tree: common grade dark fruit. Can be found on the battlefield. Eating one fruit would give the player ten thousand dark points. A necessary material used to upgrade any dark item, gear, or scroll."

"Wow! All these points!!" he was shocked the moment he read the simple description of the fruit. "Wait a moment… I have some things I can use these fruits over."

The next moment he took out his dark bow and glanced for a moment at it. "Let's hope this works," he didn't hesitate in putting the fruit over the bow, but nothing happened.

"What's wrong?" he examined the fruit again and reread the description. "Is it broken? Is it because I squeezed its juice out?"

He didn't hesitate to take a couple more and this time he delicately put them over the bow. "Still not working, huh?" he was enraged by this and held the fruits in his hand with more force.

And that dark blue juice popped out the next moment, even staining his armor.

"Buzz!"

Yet the next moment the bow, which was covered with the most of the juice, trembled in hand.

And despite this was a very faint reaction but it never escaped his senses.

"So the secret lies in the juice, interesting," he didn't hesitate to squeeze the fruits till the last drops before examining the bow again.

"No change yet," he muttered, "perhaps it needs much more."

He then took out a large number of the fruits and started squeezing them out. He had a very large amount of such fruits inside the ring and that made him take out as many as the bow needed without any reservation.

"Buzz!"

"Buzz!"

"Buzz!"

Suddenly the bow broke free of his hand, flew in the air for a few minutes while being engulfed in dark blue light. He held his breath while waiting for the bow to finish its evolution.

"Tuck!"

The bow then fell to the ground while losing all the dark blue aura that engulfed it from before.

"I hope you got good enhancements," he prayed while holding the bow and felt how cold it became.

"Dark monster taming bow: enables the owner to shoot an arrow and have a chance to temporarily tame the dark monster. Only works on dark monsters and dark NPCs. The tamed monster will remain tamed until it dies out of hunger or fight. The tamed NPCs must not exceed the level of the player with twenty levels and will last for one day. Need to consume one thousand dark points each time an arrow is unleashed. Each tamed monster eats away one thousand dark points on a daily basis. Tamed monsters can be consolidated into tokens and stored into the inventory to be used later. Storing monsters won't affect the consumption. Each tamed NPC will take ten thousand dark points. NPCs after being freed of the taming will have a fear effect from the player for one hour."

"I… can now tame NPCs?" he shockingly muttered, "but that level difference… wait, can I widen it?"

His mind suddenly was lightened up with a brilliant idea and the next moment he took out hundreds of those fruits and kept squeezing their juice out till the last drop.

After ten minutes of doing so the bow evolved once again.

"Dark monster taming bow: enables the owner to shoot an arrow and have a chance to temporarily tame the dark monster. Only works on dark monsters and dark NPCs. The tamed monster will remain tamed until it dies out of hunger or fight. The tamed NPCs must not exceed the level of the player with forty levels and will last for one day. Need to consume one thousand dark points each time an arrow is unleashed. Each tamed monster eats away one thousand dark points on a daily basis. Tamed monsters can be consolidated into tokens and stored into the inventory to be used later. Storing monsters won't affect the consumption. Each tamed NPC will take ten thousand dark points. NPCs after being freed of the taming will have a fear effect from the player for one hour."

"It worked," he shouted in triumph, "but the consumption rate is increasing at a terrifying rate… I should level it up for one more time before going to level that fire scroll as well."

He started taking out large batches of fruits and this time it took him more than half an hour and almost five thousands of such fruits to level up the bow again.

Tamed monsters can be consolidated into tokens and stored into the inventory to be used later. Storing monsters won't affect the consumption. Each tamed NPC will take ten thousand dark points. NPCs after being freed of the taming will have a fear effect from the player for one hour."

"That's enough," he nodded in content, "sixty level difference is safe. If I need more then I shall level it up during the fight."

He knew he was dreaming as during the next war he wouldn't be free to do such a thing. Even his enemies wouldn't allow him to do so.

However he was content with that result. Now he could turn NPCs in levels ninety or lower to fight for his own side.

"If used properly," he thought, "then this would turn out to be a weapon to change the entire course of the war."

He patted in a warm way upon the bow like he was dealing with something precious.

"I'm now having my hopes high for the scroll," he stored the bow before taking his fire scroll out. "Let me see how far you can go my little darling."

He never forgot how this little piece of paper saved his life before, and he wasn't doubting its great role in saving his again.
