NPC into Player: Let's Wreck This Game

Bloom stayed, hiding in the trees away from the sights of his prey. He was watching the chaotic moments of battle that lasted for a couple of more minutes, plus a ten more casualties before things started to be under Panty's control again.

The credit for that lied in the five very experienced players on his side; they acted as five pillars, gathering up players around each one, directing them to act, arranging their defense and making them able to hold.

The first thing Panty did was to retreat towards the tree line, trying to lose one of the two groups. In front of Bloom's eyes, when Panty's group did that, the two attacking groups of monsters got in an internal conflict with each other, while only a small part of each group went on after Panty's group.

"That's new," Bloom chuckled as he never thought clashing two groups of monsters would yield such a result! The two groups of monsters each considered Panty's team as his, shifting the battle from a fight to kill Panty to a fight on controlling a territory.

That made the pressure over Panty's group decrease by a huge obvious margin. Bloom didn't think such a coincidence might happen, and he didn't neglect the main instigator for that; the five players with Panty.

"These players must be killed all the way to zero!" He signed their death decree with a cold heart and ruthless mind. His enemy had such a grand card that would instantly cause him a lot of trouble when dealing with the shrine's caravan quest.

As he stood there watching the fight, that turned from one hundred monsters battling sixty five teams of players into twenty monsters fighting the same number of players; he was pretty sure Panty would end up dead no matter what!

The higher number of those two headed horned monsters he sent Nara to lure made him quite comfortable regarding this outcome, especially when there were only an odd number of monsters there.

As for the other type of monsters, he didn't know their super skill yet, and if it was something interesting like cancelling the system support skill, then Panty's team fate would be sealed.

The players in Panty's team weren't a push over either, as they fought the monsters well enough to make Bloom realize they weren't newbies.

"So you gathered five elite players, and a hundred of experienced ones. Good strategy indeed," he muttered while realizing that from the start of the fight up till now, not a single player ran off from the place.

"It seems I will need to take that caravan quest far more serious than I initially intended."

He had to find a way to match the large number of Panty's team if he wanted to sabotage that quest. In the next couple of minutes, a new thing developed that made him speechless!

Panty took out a huge number of potions, gave them to his five main butlers, and they started distributing them over the rest of players; even to Nara and her team!

From his place he couldn't tell a thing about these potions, but even if they were of the basic type, the number Panty took meant he had them in hundreds! And he didn't even care about handing them over to others, even to strangers like Nara and her team!

"A wealthy spoiled kid indeed," Bloom sighed as he couldn't do a thing regarding this generous hand of Panty. If his personality wasn't that bad, and he didn't seek to harm Bloom in the first place, Bloom would really consider adding him to his team!

Having such a goose that lay golden eggs all the time wasn't a bad thing, right?

'Boss where are you?' Nara asked suddenly in a message, 'They are handling the monsters perfectly fine so far. The trap isn't succeeding and they are trying to pouch us into their team!'

'I'm just behind you, on the line of trees, waiting for a perfect moment to intervene. By the way, what is the grade of the potions he gave to you?'

'A village advanced Hp potion, a village advanced Mp potion, and others like these.'

The reply of her made his scalp numb! "Damn you arrogant rash rascal! Why did you choose to stand against me? stupid idiot spoiled kid!"

He inwardly cursed Panty, as he now was lamenting over his lost golden goose.

'When are you going to attack?' Nara sent again, and this time he simply replied:

'In a minute!'

He wasn't lying this time, as in front of him the monsters tried to run already when their Hp fell below fifty percent, however Panty's team was ready to intercept them all.

The advantage of having a great number of followers proved its worth here. if it was him and his shades, he wouldn't be able to stop even one third of these monsters, couldn't even kill one tenth of their total numbers in the end.

"Sigh, I need to consider building my own faction then," he muttered as he always lived alone as NPC, however he now saw the importance and advantage of having a large team of players with him.

To do so, he needed to entice players with what they mostly wanted. He couldn't use gold anymore, as his enemy already was far ahead of him in that. so, he only had to find other ways to lure players to join him.

As for his one minute time, he didn't exaggerate when he said that. according to his observation, these monsters would lose their Hp below the limit of twenty percent in less than a minute!

"Roar!"

Just as thirty seconds passed, one of the double headed horned monsters roared, its horns shone brightly before a shock wave erupted, sending everyone away from it.

"My time to shine!"

Bloom was spared from this shock wave, but when he jumped off the tree line, heading directly towards Panty and his players; he felt some unpleasant feeling in his body. "So the skill would affect anyone stepping into its range? Interesting!"
