Oath of Love

Chapter 57

Chapter 57: First Time Being Attentive to a Girl (3)

An Ran smiled but didn’t deny it. She’d never been trained professionally before, but she’d always been into the arts at school. She was flexible and good at dancing.

“Miss An, if you like it, I can go register for you today,” Sister Rong said.

“Okay.” An Ran nodded. She could finally do something she liked.

After eating breakfast, An Ran strolled around the neighborhood, getting familiar with the environment. She didn’t return until close to noon. As soon as she entered, she smelled the faint fragrance of chicken soup.

Sister Rong had already returned. She was putting a bouquet of lilies in a vase in the living room.

Was she hoping that An Ran and Ye Chengwei would be happy forever, according to the flower language? Sister Rong must think that he doted on her. To an outsider, the two were still together even after five years. What could it be other than deep remembrance?

Who would know that the truth was so ugly? She was only using her body to repay a debt.

“Miss An, I helped you register for dance class,” Sister Rong said. “There’s a class tomorrow morning. Will you go?”

“Sure.” An Ran nodded. She didn’t have anything else to do.

“Lunch will be ready soon,” Sister Rong said. “When the Young Master left this morning, he told me to stew black chicken and pigeon soup to enrichen your blood.”

Enrichen blood…

An Ran grew embarrassed and quickly said, “I need to go upstairs.”

She only had that bit of blood. Did she need to enrichen it?

After staying there for a bit, she went downstairs to eat. The entire table of food was all for her.

“Sister Rong, let’s eat together,” she said. After all, she was a normal family’s child. She didn’t care about these things and instead, felt restricted.

Sister Rong smiled. Instead of answering, she ladled out a bowl of chicken soup and placed it before An Ran. “Miss An,” she said softly. “I’ve never seen a Young Master act so considerate for a girl before.”

An Ran didn’t speak. She just picked up her spoon to drink soup. Ye Chengwei was so bipolar. Using his own words, it was heaven if he doted on you. It was hell if you went against him.

He was indeed very considerate and gentle when he spoiled someone. When he was angry, he was also cold and sharp, making people feel too scared to get close.

Perhaps, all rich young masters were like this, hoping everyone and everything would follow his will.

While she was thinking, Ye Chengwei called.

“Hello?” she asked.

“Are you drinking the soup?” His tone was okay and quite caring. This meant that he was in a good mood.

“Yes.” An Ran felt some warmth in her heart and her tone softened.

“Okay, drink some more. Sister Rong is best at making soup.”

“Okay,” she replied obediently.

“Take a nap after eating. Around five o’clock, have Zhang bring you to Upper Island Restaurant.”

Upper Island Restaurant was one of the famous Western restaurants of A City. It wasn’t far from the Gu Family’s Sirloin, but if one had to rank them, Sirloin was a bit better.

Someone as attentive to detail as Ye Chengwei should go to Sirloin.

But An Ran didn’t ask. She just made a noise of agreement. He liked obedient girls, so she would be obedient.

“Give the phone to Sister Rong.”

An Ran handed the phone over. She didn’t know what Ye Chengwei said. Sister Rong just kept saying “okay” and then hung up.

“Miss An, call me when you wake up from your nap. I’ll help you dress up.” She returned the phone to An Ran.

“Okay.” An Ran nodded, realizing that this was what they talked about in the call.

After eating, An Ran lay in bed and read for a while before dozing off.
