Harbin Institute of Technology?

Isn’t this my alma mater?

Yang Siruo:”Jiang Chen, General Chen’s car is already waiting outside.”

“Okay, you help keep an eye on the 101 Arsenal……”

Afterwards, Jiang Chen took a car to Harbin Institute of Technology.

The school was founded in 1920 and was named Harbin Sino-Russian Industrial School. It later went through the Sino-Russian Industrial University and the Eastern Province Special Zone Industrial University.

In 1928, the school was officially named Harbin Institute of Technology.

At the school gate.

Jiang Chen felt an invisible sense of familiarity as soon as he got off the car, and his mind kept flashing through the bits and pieces of the school before he traveled through time.

Chen Geng brought the senior to the door:”Jiang Chen, forgive me for picking you up in a hurry!”

“The situation is a bit special… Let Principal Tan tell you!”

Principal Tan Yonglin tightly shook Jiang Chen’s hand:”Comrade Jiang Chen, I have heard of your name for a long time. It is better to meet you in person than to hear about it. I didn’t expect that you are a tenured professor at Caltech at such a young age. This is amazing!”

“It is like this. Our school has launched an open class to retain more talents. So, I would like to ask you to give an open class to everyone. Some of these students have just returned from studying abroad, and some have just graduated.……”

Chen Geng:”Jiang Chen, we have no choice but to ask you to help… For Harbin Institute of Technology, for the scientific research of our country, and for the Chinese Academy of Sciences, we need them.……”

Jiang Chen:”Okay, I know what to do.”

Do your best for your alma mater and lay a solid foundation for the country’s education cause

“Thank you so much, Jiang Chen… Come this way, please!” Tan Yonglin respectfully invited Jiang Chen over.

After a simple preparation,

Jiang Chen went to the classroom.

He walked slowly towards the podium, and the students below shouted,”Stand up!”……”

“Hello Professor Jiang!”

“Hello, students. Please take a seat.……”Jiang Chen looked around and saw that the seats were full of people.

These students came here because of his reputation.

He took a look at the student list: Hua Luogeng, Yu Min, Huang Yuhua… Jiang Chen was stunned and dumbfounded.

These people will be the pillars of the country in the future, and each one is more awesome than the other.

I teach them?

This is a bit of a joke.

For example, Hua Luogeng was born in Jintan District, Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, and his ancestral home is Danyang, Jiangsu Province. He graduated from Jintan County Junior High School in 1924; he was transferred to the Department of Mathematics of Tsinghua University in 1931; he visited John Bull Cambridge University in 1936; he was hired as a professor at Tsinghua University in 1938. In

1946, he served as a researcher at the Princeton Institute of Mathematics in Yingjiang, and a professor at Princeton University and the University of Illinois; in 1948, he was elected as an academician of the Academia Sinica, and in the spring of 1950, he arrived in Beijing from Yingjiang via Hong Kong…

Unexpectedly, such a big guy came back to listen to Jiang Chen’s lectures.

This made Jiang Chen flattered.

The other one, Yu Min, is an amazing person.

He was admitted to the School of Engineering of Peking University in 1944. In 1946, he transferred to the School of Science to study physics and set his major in theoretical physics.

In 1949, Yu Min graduated from undergraduate school, was admitted to graduate school, and worked as a part-time assistant professor at Peking University.

Although he has not made any achievements yet.

According to the course of history, after graduation, he was transferred to the Institute of Modern Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences as an assistant researcher and associate researcher. This institute was established in 1950.

Later, he became the famous father of the hydrogen bomb.

The father of the hydrogen bomb listened to Jiang Chen’s lectures?

Jiang Chen felt pressured all of a sudden.

There is also Huang Yuhua. His early academic journey was bumpy. Influenced by the Anti-Japanese War, he went to study in many places such as Jiexi, Meixian, Shaoguan, Pingshi, Guilin, and Shancheng since he was a child. In

1945, he was admitted to the National Chiao Tung University and systematically studied the theory and technology of shipbuilding. During his time at school, he actively participated in student movements and gradually grew into a member of the Communist Party.

In 1949, after graduating from Jiaotong University, he worked in the Shipbuilding Department of the Shanghai Military Control Commission, Shanghai Merchants Bureau (Shipping Bureau), Shanghai Port Authority, etc.

He was the deputy chief designer and second chief designer of the first generation of nuclear submarines in China, a true national talent.

I didn’t expect to see him at Harbin Institute of Technology today…

Jiang Chen took a closer look at the list. Most of these people were graduates of the school, but there were also many top students in various fields.

“Classmates, my name is Jiang Chen… an ordinary international student. Today, I will not share any professional knowledge with you, but talk to you about my experience!”

Then, Jiang Chen began to talk about some of his experiences. His parents died when he was young, and he lived on the streets. He was almost starved to death and was adopted by a farmer. Unexpectedly, his adoptive father was slaughtered by the Japanese devils. In order to avenge his adoptive father, Jiang Chen began to study hard and kill the devils to serve the motherland.

In this way, Jiang Chen was admitted to Jiaotong University, went abroad to study, graduated from California Institute of Technology, served as a group teacher, and was promoted to professor. He participated in the research of various weapons of the Eagle Sauce, tanks, airplanes, missiles……

“……I thought science has no borders, but when I wanted to return to China, the US used all kinds of excuses to slander, defame, put me under house arrest, and monitor me… They even didn’t allow me to sleep or eat… They tortured me mentally and psychologically, hoping that I would give up returning to China.”

“This is the so-called freedom, democracy, eagle sauce……”

“It also made me realize clearly that scientists have national boundaries!”

“At that time, I knew in my heart: The more the Eagle Sauce prevents me from returning to China, the more it proves that I must come!”

Everyone fell into deep thought, and students like Hua Luogeng who had studied abroad felt the same way.

Jiang Chen:”A weak country has no diplomacy. For thousands of years, our country has been bullied by the great powers, ceded land and paid compensation, and signed various humiliating treaties.……”

“Chinese people…are an inferior race in their eyes, ridiculed and suppressed. How many Chinese workers abroad are living a humiliating life?”

“In the final analysis, it is because we do not have a strong country to back us up, we do not have a voice, and we are nothing.……”

Jiang Chen:”What is the right to speak? That is: truth is only within the range of the cannon, and dignity is only on the edge of the sword!”

At this point, the whole audience burst into thunderous applause.

The atmosphere in the whole audience reached its peak.
