On the Seven Towers

Chapter 698 Iron Bridge Attack and Defense

Coner let go of Orgas halfway through his dive. The latter drew out his long sword and raised it above his head. The fighting spirit bursting out of his body made him look like a golden meteor. Coner followed the meteor down and cast a dispel magic in his hand. He was the last to arrive and hit the shield below. The shield suddenly became much thinner. Then Orgas slashed on the shield, making a muffled sound, and the shield shattered.

The five warriors under the shield attacked Orgas together. Unexpectedly, Orgas ignored their swords and thrust the long sword forward. A sharp sword energy escaped from the sword edge, passed through a group of warriors, and stabbed directly into the throat of a magician behind. The magician was just maintaining the shield and had no time to react before his neck was broken by the fighting spirit.

He dodged half of the swords chopped by others, and he avoided the rest of them and resisted them with his body filled with fighting spirit. Although he had a few more bloody wounds on his body, his injuries were not serious. However, because he dodged the attacks repeatedly, he was stopped outside the bridge.

Amigo shouted, "Three of you should stop him. Don't let him get on the bridge. One person should protect the bridge and don't let the people on it explode. Hold on for two minutes! Our people are coming. I'll go and interfere with that mage."

He leaped into the air with his fighting spirit, crossed his swords and cut off a fireball thrown by Master Kona at the iron bridge, and quickly approached him. Kona didn't want to fight the warriors at close range and test his shield, so he flew sideways and avoided the opponent's attack. After Amigo landed on the ground, he immediately jumped high again and slashed at Master Kona again. He didn't want to hurt Master Kona, but just continued to interfere with his spellcasting. Once Kona flew higher, he would take out his flying knife, infuse it with fighting spirit, and throw it at the opponent.

He knew that time was on his side.

At the bridge head, another three black guards rushed out of the bridge, surrounded Orgas from three directions, and launched a fierce attack on him. Olgas found that these people were actually at the peak of the high level. He had just crossed that threshold not too long ago. His understanding of energy and the quality of his fighting spirit had improved qualitatively, but he had not yet opened up an overwhelming gap with the high-level peak warriors.

In addition, these three people had actually practiced some kind of combined attack routine. The three people could make up for each other's gaps and weaknesses when advancing and retreating, and actually dragged Olgas.

"Cona, don't worry about that flea! Help me suppress the three guys around." Olgas shouted.

Cona saw the moment when Amigo jumped up again and raised his position, and then took advantage of the gap when the opponent fell, and quickly performed a mental explosion. A white ball of light fell to the ground, erupting a circle of ripples. Olgas, who was well prepared, gritted his teeth and used his fighting spirit to protect his head, but he was just a little dazed. The three people around him were caught off guard and their consciousness was shocked, resulting in a few seconds of stagnation.

These few seconds were enough for Olgas to launch a fatal attack. He swung his sword and slashed, seemingly striking, but after the sword flashed, blood spurted out of the necks and hearts of the three black guards at the same time.

The three men were still frozen in place, but Orgas accelerated, bypassed them and rushed to the iron bridge. He swung his sword again to slash at the bridge.

Just as the sword was about to touch the bridge, a light curtain extended from the doorway like mercury pouring down, covering the bridge. The long sword wrapped in the fighting spirit slashed on it as if it hit a soft cushion, and a lot of power was buffered.

The iron bridge that was originally going to be destroyed by a sword was only poked with a hole!

Orgas realized that there was another mage in the doorway, whose level was only above the one he killed. Sure enough, when he swung his sword again, ice arrows flew out from the doorway. These ice arrows flew chaotically in the air, making it difficult to see the route, but the final target was Orgas' eyes and throat.

Olgas was full of fighting spirit. He used one hand to block the vital parts of his head and face, and swung his sword to chop at the ground with the other hand. Although each sword could cut through the light curtain on the ground, the speed of destruction was undoubtedly slowed down.

"Be careful! They are coming." At this time, Master Kona had already used the advantage of high altitude to knock down Amigo. The latter's head was pierced by his spiritual arrow, which seriously injured his soul and he fell unconscious. But at this time, the black guards who were running in the front had arrived.

There were six black guards rushing together, and the one in the front was Lennit, who was quite afraid of Olgas. He had seen the situation here before he came from afar. He suddenly accelerated before he reached the bridge head, avoided the attack of Kona in the sky with a zigzag route, and rushed towards Olgas who was destroying the bridge.

Lennit's weapon was a long sword, one palm wide and nearly one person long, and it was terrifying when it was swung.

Olgas had already turned around and raised his sword to meet Cona's warning, but Lennitt used his charge to attack and directly pushed him back more than ten steps, all the way back into the doorway. The magician in the doorway did not give up this opportunity. Then, when Olgas was pushed back, his body could not control the direction, and an exploding fireball hit his back, not only pushing him back, but also almost shaking off the fighting spirit on his back.

Olgas stumbled back to the bridge. Lennitt met the counterattack and hit Olgas on the head again. Olgas barely blocked the attack with his sword, but was almost half-kneeling on the ground because of Lennitt's huge force.

Lenette said nothing, looking at Orgas with a mocking look, but the knife in his hand rose and fell, ruthlessly slashing at Orgas. His knife speed was extremely fast, and the knife in his hand turned into a fan-shaped phantom, like a machine that never stopped, cutting the parts in front of him. But Orgas also exerted all his strength at this time, even at a disadvantage, he still blocked the opponent's attack.

The battle between the two masters was not fancy at all, and the movements were comparable to two recruits who had just learned the sword. But whether it was the power of the attack, the speed, and the actual fighting spirit magic on the sword, it was unimaginable for ordinary people. Lenette chose this method simply because the straight-forward knife slashing speed was the fastest and the most difficult to change moves to deal with.

If it was a low-level warrior holding the long sword in Orgas's hand, Lenette would not need to cut it solid, and he would be cut in half with the sword. Although Orgas was now in a mess, he had already exerted all the strength of the new master.

All this happened within a few seconds, and before the others could react, Lennitt had slashed more than thirty times. However, this level of impact was too much for the iron bridge to bear, and despite being reinforced by Gandas, it began to sag slowly with a creaking sound.
