Opposite Worlds

"You know her she's your childhood friend, Sarah." The king said whilst standing up and was about to go out. "Actually your engagement was fixed while you were kids by both our families. So don't even try to deny it. Also go and pick her from the airport later." He finally said and went out leaving Meera and Noah shocked.

But actually he lied he recently selected Sarah for the wedding just because her family was the second richest family after theirs, so we can say that this wedding was more of a business deal.

Meera and Noah were quiet for some time and didn't move much. Everyone left and they both were the only ones left in the dining room. He gestured her to sit beside him.

"What just happened?" She asked holding her head with her hands.

"I don't even know." He said with a blank face. "It was just too fast he didn't even give me time to consider it." She glared at him after hearing this.

"What do you mean consider it?" She said lifting an eyebrow.

"I..I meant deny it." He said instantly and she smiled at his reaction to her teasing.

"But what to do now?" She asked and rested her head on his shoulder.

"Try to avoid it." He said and rested his head on hers and held her hand tightly. "If he still forces we'll run away."

"Can you?" She asked suspiciously.

"Of course I can..." He said looking at her. "As long as it's with you."

"Geez where do you learn such sweet things?"

"Nowhere It's just the magic of love."

"I Can't believe it's your first time in love."

"It really is. It's just that I got the perfect girl just in the first try." He said and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. She smiled and said, "Me too."

"Can't you be more romantic?" He asked.

"Aren't you enough." She said and got up.

"Where are you going?"

"To get the car ready."

"Where are we going?"

"To pick up your 'fiance'."

"Stop it."

"Why?"

"Cause you are the one going to be that ." He said with puppy eyes and she blushed but rushed out before he could notice.

They reached the airport and Sarah hadn't arrived yet. They waited outside the car and after some time she came there. She hugged Noah as soon as he saw him. Meera felt jealous of seeing her get so close to Noah. On the other hand he was extremely uncomfortable and almost pushed her away and pretended to cough.

"What happened?" Sarah said in an American accent.

Meera got water for him immediately but he refused so she started drinking it.

"Didn't dad tell you that I'm allergic to women." He said looking at Sarah with a strange look and after listening to this Meera choked on the water she was drinking as it was just out of the blue. He rubbed her back. Sarah was really awkward after this.

Noah then told her that he ( and Meera ) had some work to do so they had to go. He gave his car to her and they both just walked around and they actually had nothing to do, he just wanted to get away from Sarah.

"So you're allergic to women?" She asked as they were walking through a street that was completely empty. Different prints on the walls and tiny flower pots hanging on the balconies. He suddenly grabbed her hand and pinned her to the wall which had a colorful doodle on it.

"Yup you heard it right. I am and I'll die if I get close to them. You know what?"

"What?"

"You're my only antidote." He said and kissed her. They made out in that empty street. And it leads to a very steamy night.
