Our Bonds

This is rather interesting, but scary at the same time. Abyssal Cat Fighters are extremely dangerous, especially the bomber variants. Hoppou-chan was using them in her fight against Ember and managed to force her on the defensive. Now, one of them is resting on Zuihou-chan's palm. She knows what it is, and is frightened.

"What do I do?!" (Zuihou-chan)

"Calm down. It isn't doing anything yet. Since you created it, you should be able to control it."

"That's right. It should listen to you. But why did you create an enemy aircraft?" (AL Akagi)

"I didn't mean it! What do I do?" (Zuihou-chan)

"An enemy aircraft? That thing?" (Kii)

"That's an Abyssal Aircraft. And a higher ranking one too." (AL Amagi)

"What did you think about?" (Shinano)

"I wanted a type 99 bomber. And I wanted it to be cute. That's all. Why did a Abyssal Cat Fighter appear?" (Zuihou-chan)

A cute type 99 bomber? That is a very 'Zuihou' thing to think about. But why did that aircraft show up? A remnant of her Abyssal form?

"Zuihou-chan, do you think that is cute?"

"I-I guess, as long as it's not flying around and trying to sink us." (Zuihou-chan)

"Maybe she subconsciously created it." (AL Kaga)

"That's what I thought too. I mean, even I think that the enemy aircraft is cute sometimes. Just look at it. It's got cute little ears and big eyes. It looks just like our cats."

Okay. Going off tangent here. Get a hold of yourself.

"Anyway, we are pretty sure it's harmless. But just in case,"

"I can take care of it if it goes on a rampage." (AL Akagi)

Akagi took out two sheets of shikigami paper, ready to blow the little summon up. I appreciate the help but...

"Just try not to blow my office up in the process."

"Ok... I'm ordering it now." (Zuihou-chan)

"How do I order it to do things?" (Zuihou-chan)

We have to start from there?!

"Simply put..." (Amagi)

Akagi, Amagi and Kaga gave a short lecture about how to control the aircraft. Things like data input and macro-command and other technical stuff which I don't understand can be heard. But Zuihou-chan seems to understand it.

"That's it? I can just simply think about it." (Zuihou-chan)

Zuihou-chan sat still, seemingly concentrating on giving the aircraft a command. Moments later, the Abyssal Cat Fighter opened its mouth. It made a weird sound as it moves it's mouth. Kind of like an engine starting up. The eye sockets glowed with a different coloured flame. The entire thing was burning with a bright orange colour, while it's eyes burned with a red fire. It jumped off Zuihou-chan's hand and started flying around us.

"I did it! I controlled it!" (Zuihou-chan)

"Awesome! You did it, Zuihou-chan!" (Rei)

I pet her head,

"That's great. Good job."

Once she gets used to create multiple aircrafts at once, we can move on to perfection her skill. Still, why does it have to be an Abyssal aircraft? Maybe it's just this time, but we can't overlook the possibility of her o Lu being able to create such aircraft.

"Wait, your hands!"

I almost forgot! Zuihou-chan may have burnt herself creating the aircraft. And it had been in contact with her for quite a while now. I grabbed her hands to check her palms. It doesn't look red, let alone any signs or symptoms of burns.

"I'm fine. It wasn't hot this time." (Zuihou-chan)

"Your nerves were not damaged the last time, right?"

"Yea- Hyaa! Admiral, that tickles!" (Zuihou-chan)

I wiggled my finger tips gently on her palm. If it tickles her, she still has her sense of touch. I was worried that she might have suffered from nerve damage in her hands.

"Geez! Don't just stroke my hands all of a sudden!" (Zuihou-chan)

"My bad. I had to check."

And your reaction was just too cute.

"Say, Admiral-san..." (Kii)

"What is it?"

I turned to face the fox-eared battleship. Her tail is still in the hands of Rei,

"I have been thinking, Admiral-san is a lolicon. Aren't you?" (Kii)

"Wha-"

"I mean, Commander always has this face of a hungry wolf and creepy smirk whenever he sees busty girls like Akagi-senpai and Shinano. You may stare at Akagi-senpai's and Shinano's chest from time to time, but you don't have the same reaction. Instead, you react that way when it comes to Zuihou-chan." (Kii)

Was it that obvious?! I mean, I'm a guy. Of course my eyes would gravitate to that particular area sometimes, especially when there are three beauties in front of me. But Zuihou-chan is way cuter in many ways and I have this desire to protect her. I didn't realise I had that kind of expression when looking at her. Just what kind if face have I been making?! My reputation is going to drop even further!

"I'm not-"

"He is. Like, he won't even consider me as a partner even though I'm closer to his age and bigger than Zuihou. Zuihou is the only thing on his mind." (Rei)

Rei, I'm begging you. Please don't say anymore.

"Admiral is considering me as a partner? Yay! I'm one step closer to Onee-chan!" (Zuihou-chan)

"No, that's not-"

Come on. Don't look at me with that smile. How can I say no to that?

"Ufufu~ Looks like you have it rough." (Amagi)

"Ugh... Amagi-sama, please help me out of this."

"Nope. This is way too interesting for me to interfere." (Amagi)
