"Ad-mi-ral~~♡"

"You were here the whole time?"

"I was waiting for you~ Hehehe~"

Resting her head and hands on my lap was the girl we had been searching for the whole time, still in her pajamas. Did she snuck in here when we were outside looking for her? And what's with that laugh? It's as though she is on a high. An effect of the fever?

"For starters, let's get you out of there."

I grabbed Zuihou by the waist and carefully lifted her out from under the table. I expected her to struggle and be all like 'Don't treat me like a child!', but she just lets me lift her like that. Instead, she did something else I wouldn't have expected her to do in a long time.

"Admiral!"

"Wai-??"

She slipped out of my arms and lunged at me, causing me to fall on my back while she perched herself on top. Why am I getting a sense of Deja Vu here? Oh right, Yuudachi...

"Hehehe. I caught Admiral."

"Zuihou, what are you doing?"

This is nowhere near being 'childish and selfish' like what he mentioned. Rather, this is sort of lewd, with the way our positions are. No, that's not the main point.

"Hey Zuihou, what's wrong with you? This is not like you."

She just buried her face in my chest.

"Admiral smells good. My favourite smell..."

"Huh?"

Zuihou laid still. I can hear some soft breathing. She fell asleep. What the heck was that all about? Does she have that kind of fetish? Great, I got some new material to tease her with now.

I carried the sleeping Zuihou in my arms and walked towards her room. Shouhou would be relieved that her little sister was found.

I woke up feeling something tickling my nose. What is this? Hair? It's also a little cramp. So who is it this time?

I sat up to get a clearer view of my bed intruder. There are two of them. On my right seems to be Shigure. I can from the dog ear-like hair and the cow lick. On my left is the one whose hair tickled my nose, Yuudachi. That blonde hair seems to shine in the dark. This must be Yuudachi's idea. She probably sensed that Shigure was getting another attack and suggested to sneak into my bed.

I carefully got out of the bed without waking the two doggies. Because they occupied both sides of the bed, I had to get out through the front. Waking up earlier once in a while isn't that bad.

I freshened myself up and got dressed. Knowing those two, they would probably wake up later when as long as I'm within their detection range. Mysteriously, they could detect my presence everytime. Once I heard that they were sleeping before I returned to the office, but woke up when I was outside the door.

It's still a little early so let's go for a walk.

"Where are you going, Admiral-san?

As soon as I touched the doorknob, I heard a sleepy voice behind. Yuudachi was still rubbing her eyes, hair still in a mess.

"Ah sorry. Did I woke you up?"

"No. I felt that Admiral-san was going somewhere poi." *yawn*

"Just going for a short walk. You can sleep a little longer you know."

"A walk? Yuudachi wants to go for a walk too!"

"You're not tired? You don't have to force yourself."

"Nope. Beside, it's rare for Admiral-san to get up this early."

"What about Shigure? Is it fine to leave her alone?"

"She can sleep longer. I'll leave a note for her. I will go get ready. Wait for me outside!"

Yuudachi made a move for her room. At least I have a some accompany.

♪ A walk. A walk. A walk with Admiral-san. ♪

Yuudachi sang as she walked ahead of me along the port. It amazes me how she can be so cheerful with such a simple thing.

"Admiral-san, Admiral-san! Look!"

Yuudachi was pointing at something in the water. It was a bloom of jellyfish, floating rather close to the surface and the wall.

"So it's going to be jellyfish season soon huh?"

"Looks cute and delicious!"

"Mamiya-san and iroko-san is going to have a lot of fun coming up with a new menu."

We continued our walk. The early morning atmosphere is something I have never felt before until now. It was peaceful and the air was fresh. A cool breeze can be felt, though the place was cloaked by a thin fog. I don't know how to describe this feeling but it definitely feels good. Maybe I should make this a habit.

Or maybe not. it's barely ten o'clock and I'm already feeling tired. I don't want to do anything now.

"Admiral! Get up! You got work to do!"

"Ughh. I don't wanna~"
