"Everyone, be ready for anything. This enemy is nothing we have ever encountered before."

"Belfast, I need you to assist them. You are the only one here that fought her before." (Commander)

Everyone has been deployed, ready to engage the incoming Purifier. From what information we have, Purifier is one of the high-ranking sirens. Her jobs is to get rid of 'unwanted data'. Not sure what that means, but the sirens are obsessed with experiments. The girls from Azur Lane were in fact created by the Sirens to observe how humanity can fight against them. According to what we know, Purifier possesses otherworldly abilities, such as summoning mass-produced sirens, deflecting shells and other types of ammunition without touching them and immortality. In other words, an overpowered boss.

On my screens, I can see Purifier still advancing to towards us. However, she doesn't to realise my observation. Even we don't know who or how is this live footage taken.

"Everyone, listen to Belfast's cues and our orders. Don't do anything reckless."

"Roger!" (All)

"Carriers, launch your bombers! Let's check out how it's reaction."

"Are you sure? Even I don't know what that thing might do." (Commander)

"Only one way to find out. Destroyers and submarines, be ready to scatter around. Cruisers and Battlesh.i.p.s, get ready to provide heavy firepower."

"Roger!" (All)

The carriers launched the first wave of bombers. Purifier stopped in her tracks, and gave a smile.

The bombers dropped their load on her. Explosions and smoke can be seen as the bombs hit.

"Did we get her?" (Souryuu)

"No. There is still a signal coming from that location." (Ooyodo)

"Ouch. Interesting. To think that this amount can actually hurt me." (???)

As the smoke cleared, a bloodied girl in tatters can be seen, clutching her left arm. There are some burn marks on her body and the flying hammerhead sharks looks as though it's going to fall anytime soon.

Belfast and the Commander looked surprised at the sight of the injured enemy.

"Is that unusual?"

"Even after multiple shots, we were only able to make a small scratch on her. And she heals as soon as we even give her a second to rest." (Commander)

"So in short, we just need to keep shooting?" (Noshiro)

"Isn't that what we do all the time?" (Murasame)

"But we haven't encountered such an enemy before, it's better if we remain vigilant." (Yahagi)

"Yahagi, if you think about it, she is just like a Abyssal Princess." (Agano)

"Guys, look!" (Tokitsukaze)

Portals appeared on both sides of Purifier as she gives off a purplish light. Mass-produced sirens started to slowly appear from the portals. So that's her summoning ability.

"Hahahaha. Let's pl-" (Purifier)

"Fire!"

Everyone took turns to concentrate their shelling on Purifier before she finished speaking, let alone fully healing herself or finish summoning her minions. The Submarines launched the torpedos the have while the Carriers sent out wave after wave of bombers.

"Kyyaaaah!!!" (Purifier)

"Stop."

We waited for the smoke to clear once again.

"Has she sank?" (Zuihou)

"Don't jinx it! If you say that, she will definitely still be alive."

And of course, when the smoke begin to clear, the shape of Purifier can still be seen. Although, she has more holes in her body now. The shark was lying on the surface, already in pieces. There are some Siren wreckage around, probably from the mass-produced sirens being unable to fully emerge from her portals.

"Wah. Gross!" (Suzuya)

"Ugh... I feel sick..." (Fubuki)

"Fubuki-chan, are you alright?" (Mutsuki)

"Hasn't anyone reach you guys that's it rude to interrupt someone when they are st-" (Purifier)

"Fire."

"Gyaaahhh!" (Purifier)

I can see Belfast and Eldridge look on in bewilderment. Even the commander is surprised.

"And stop."

"Ugh... Why aren't my powers working?! I should have been able to block those shots." (Purifier)

Oh come on! Even the strongest Abyssal princess isn't that tough! And we are dealing with a full fire power of 90 shipgirls here. Taigei, Akashi, Kashima, and Mamiya were not deployed. Ooyodo is here with me, relaying the data to Yokosuka HQ.

"That's it! Witness my true- W-wait! I haven't finished yet! Gyaahhh!!!" (Purifier)

I gave the order to attack again. Just sink already!

"I'm starting to feel bad for her poi." (Yuudachi)

"Same here. But she started this."

"I got it! I got it! I'll leave! I'm leaving! So stop shooting me!" (Purifier)

"Alright that's enough."

I'm surprised she can still stand and barely maintain her shape even after all that. I can't even tell what is that anymore.

"Grr... I won't forget this. I will definitely purify and erase you from this experiment!"

The Purifier picked whatever is left of her shark and dragged herself away.

"Did we win?" (Yamakaze)

"That was... not what I expected." (Shigure)

"Aww... I wanted shoot some more." (Suzukaze)

"Should we give chase?" (Shouhou)

"No. Leave her. We already reach our goal. Good job, everybody. We are going to party tonight."

The girls started cheering. I turned off the video feed before their cheers get too overwhelming.

"Ooyodo, have you sent the footage to HQ?"

"I have already sent it. I thought Purifier was supposed to be impossible to damage. How did we win?" (Ooyodo)

"She did say that her powers weren't working. We will just have to think about it later."

I turned to the Commander

"Anyway, the three of you are staying for the party, right?"

The Commander stood there, still trying to process what just happened. To be honest, I'm also surprised that we managed to chase her off so easily. Her immortality is a pain, but we now know that we have a chance against the Sirens. If only the Abyssals were just as easy.

I'm curious about what Purifier said. What did she mean by 'this experiment'?
