Outcast Hunter

Liu Cheng and Natalya moved a bit further from Leo and Miyamura. Warrior Liu Cheng against the Assassin Natalya. Who will come out victorious in this battle consisting of recklessness and surprises?

"My body was stiff from all the days that I haven't been hunting." Liu Cheng cracked his neck. "Please entertain me more, Natalya. I didn't know that you would be so pretty in person. I only saw you through live feeds and videos. I'm honored."

Natalya paid no heed to Liu Cheng's words. "Well, thank you but, I'm not interested in dating anyone right now."

<Mist Walk>

One of Natalya's few skills, 'Mist Walk..' This skill creates mist illusions on anyone she cast the skill against. The mist will be seen by Natalya's enemy although, there isn't any.

"So, you plan to hide, huh?" There's still this arrogance in his tone. He stood still and waited for Natalya to attack him.

Miyamura glanced back at Liu Cheng, "what's that idiot saying?! Hey Liu," he raised his voice for the latter to hear. "She's right in front of you!"

Liu Cheng heard what Miyamura was saying. He inadvertently flinched when he noticed that Natalya had swung both of her shortswords towards him.

"What--?!" Liu Cheng flipped backward away from Natalya. "Am I the only one who's seeing the mist?"

"He got away." Natalya clicked her tongue in disappointment.

'Did she just clicked her tongue on me?' Even though Liu Cheng could not see Natalya, he could still hear what she would be saying.

"Who wouldn't dodge you?! You were aiming for my neck! That's harsh!"

<Paralyzing Cuts>

Natalya's shortswords has an active skill called 'Paralyzing Cuts.' The shortswords came from the dragon's scales. The said dragon's scales were assumed to be secreting paralyzing fluids, that if mixed into one's blood, will render anyone unable to move.

"Hey, hey, that's unfair if you're the only one who's gonna use skills."

<Reckless Judgment>

Liu Cheng wouldn't want Natalya to beat him out of it. As the battle took longer, his reckless attacks and movements will get sharper and precise. In short, he's warming up.

Ten more seconds and, the Mist Walk's effectiveness will run out. "Okay, time to attack." Natalya ran circles. She'll attack at the last second of her skill, Mist Walk.

"Running around is pointless now, Natalya. Not when I already activated my skill Reckless Judgment."

"We'll see. After all, it all comes down to our skills."

Liu Cheng began hacking recklessly using his bane. Three, two, one, Natalya commenced an attack.

"There you are--!" There was a wide grin on Liu Cheng's face. It was immediately wiped off his face when he saw that Natalya was far away from him.

<Mages Whip>

"I'm not the Queen of Surprises for nothing." She tied the whip made out of her magic onto the shortswords' hilt. She wrapped the whip's handle around her hands and began whipping Liu Cheng from a distance.

"What a really interesting woman!" Liu Cheng defended himself from the paralyzing cut that came from a distance. 'Damn! I can't let her graze me now.'

<Invulnerability>

Reckless Judgment and Invulnerability are a pair. Liu Cheng uses both so that he can do anything he wants without raising his guard. Although, the Invulnerability has a run time. It's a perfect combination because, by the time the Invulnerability's time ran out, Liu Cheng's Reckless Judgment will fully manifest.

Liu Cheng stopped defending himself from Natalya's whipping. Natalya once again clicked her tongue on Liu. "Catch me if you can then." She put her tongue out on him and sprinted away from Liu.

"This woman, making me play catch. Okay," he posed in a running mode. "If that's what you want then," he began running after Natalya towards North, where a storm was brewing.

Miyamura and Leo haven't started their duel. They quietly watched Liu Cheng and Natalya do what they want and went back to each other. Leo brought forth his sword. "Aren't you going to draw your weapon?"

What's resting on Miyamura's waist was a katana. "You've got a nice sword." He unsheathed his katana and threw the scabbard on the ground. "Why don't we check who's got the best weapon?"
