Outcast Hunter

Khione must have been so embarrassed, as she imagines what happened yesterday night.

'Ugh! How am I suppose to face him like this! Hah! This is so infuriating!'

Leo and Tom went out and wandered around, looking for something to buy. It was a normal day for everyone, but for the two of them, it's a new.

"Where are we suppose to meet again, Tom?" Leo asked. He forgets things easily or maybe he just don't want to.

"Ehh, you forgot already? She said to meet at that bar, you know, that yesterday bar"

"Ack! I bet she just wants to drink again!"

'Ahhhh.... a lot of things have happened ever since. Plus the thing that happened yesterday'

There they are. Standing in front of the bar where they met yesterday. She really was drinking again. Tom and Leo approached her, she was having her refill.

"Oh, y-you guys is here. H-have a seat"

"Brother, why is she getting flustered?" Tom asked as he whispered, enough for his brother to hear him.

"Ah, uh, maybe she's already drunk"

'Does she know? No, no, I think she doesn't"

The two sat down and ordered some food and two cup of water.

"Uh.. eh..." words won't come out of her mouth.

"What is it?" Tom asked. He noticed that there's something odd about her.

'She may really be drunk. Her face beet red'

"I, uh, I want to apologize about what happened yesterday!" She suddenly shout that out loud, the customers' shifted their gaze towards her, wondering what that was all about.

'Oh damn, she really does know. Is she awake that time!? Ugh! This is killing me. I should act calm and apologize too'

"Umm, Khione, can we talk? Just the two of us"

'Hmm? Why is he asking me to talk to him privately?' Then a lewd thought had crossed her mind.

'Maybe he wants to violate me now that he's seen my body or maybe something more!'

"Wh-why!?"

"Why?" 'Hah... this getting more of a pain in the ass. I should just accept her apology and say mine.

"O-okay, it's fine. What happened yesterday's not your fault"

'It's definitely your fault'

"I'm sorry too that I took off your clothes. I should have just leave your puke behind, sorry!"

Tom, who has no idea what they were talking about, couldn't caught up to the conversation.

'Ehh, ehh, what are they talking about? I'm clueless right now, somebody tell me, what's going on!?'

"No! Wh-why would you leave a girl with puke all over her clothes!? Argh! Let's just forget about it! We're both at fault! Period!"

The two of them had not saw all of the shops earlier. They don't know the pasikot-sikot of level 6, so they had Khione accompany them. They went around looking at all the weapon and item shop. Unfortunately, they didn't found anything worth buying thuss they decided to come back to their inns and relax for the rest of the day.

"I'm going back to my place, and thank you for yesterday" Leo nodded. She has her own little house, Leo and Tom walked her home, to see what her house looks like. It's like any other house they saw there on the level 6.

"Um, I have another store in mind that we haven't been gone to"

"Really? There should be valuable things"

The brothers were walking back to their rooms when Tom said something.

"Big brother, come to think of it. I haven't seen the other groups here"

Leo stopped for a second to answer his brother.

"They may be at another place"

Last day of their stay on level 6. Khione said to fetch her at her house after breakfast.

'I shan't expect anything good at this shop she talked about. We've been at a lot of shops but there was nothing good'

The brothers arrived at Khione's house. Leo knocked on the door.

"Wait, I'm opening the door"

She opened it, she's wearing an elegant dress this time. It was like she was going on a party.

"Wow, you're so pretty Big sis Khione"

"Aww, thank you. How honest of you Tom. Unlike the others here, hmph!"

'What? Does she wants me to praise her? I guess complimenting her won't hurt'

"Uh, ho-how cute" Leo slightly lowered his head.

"Cu-cute?" She wasn't looking at him at first and when she saw him, it looks to her like he meant her breast what's cute.

"Wh-where are you looking!? And what's cute!? I-is it me or my chest!?"

She covered her chest, as if there's something to hide.

'Huh!? What's this now? I just lowered my head after saying she's cute and now she thinks I'm looking at her back, I mean chest. I shouldn't that a little compliment would not hurt'

"I'm not looking at anything. Anyway, aren't we going to look for that shop you mentioned?"

'I deliberately changed the topic. I don't want it to get longer'

"Yeah, let's go" she was gonna step outside her house when, "wait! How dare you changed the topic, you pervert!"

Leo walked out of the door and Tom followed him without saying anything of the sort. She couldn't do anything but get frustrated and followed the two of them.

'She gave me hints, I took. She wants me to compliment her, I did, but all turns out I'm a pervert and didn't get my thanks for saying cute. I shouldn't have done that in the first place. Lesson learned, never compliments a girl half-heartedly it'll backfire and things will get out of hands, complicated and I hope that this will be the last time I deal with this kind of woman'

Khione couldn't do anything but frowned and lead the brothers to the shop she said they haven't gone to yesterday. They were walking for ten minutes and the two brothers were very bored.

"We should've rent a ride if it's too far from our place. This is so tiring."

She was still sulking about earlier, "You're the one who wants to go to that shop and ride can't cross the river. So we have to walk our way there!"

"Okay, said it first hand"

They crossed the river and climbed the mountain. There were others they came across who was walking back from the mountain. They looked like hunters too and seems like they bought weapons and items too.

'That shop must have something good, since we've been coming across people from the mountain'

"Let's stop first and have a little break" Khione suggested it, she must have noticed that little Tom had little stamina.

"My legs are hurting and I'm thirsty. We have water right, brother Leo?"

"Yes, we have. Here take it" he had water and food stored inside his inventory.

They rest for a few minutes and continued walking up the mountain.

Finally, they reached the top of the mountain and a big weapon shop that many hunters visit, surprised them. It's crowded that time and there seems to be an event going on.

Khione huddled with the people present. He disappeared from Leo and Tom's sight, so they have no choice but followed Khione.

"Wait for us!"

People swept them inside the shop and there, they saw Khione talking to the shop owner, Basil.

"These two are looking for a valuable weapon, I don't know what could they be using it though"

'Hmm, they looks fine, but what could they offer me?'

"What could you possibly looking for, youngsters?"

Leo looked around the shop, "Anything worth the price"

"Hmm, okay, follow me"

Basil had a special room, that's where he stores items he doesn't sell to anybody.

"This is my collection. I don't sell any of these precious things I treasure. But since you're friends with Miss Khione here, I'll make an exception for one item. But don't expect them to be free!"

'Wow, each of these is important and you can not just get it anywhere. Especially these shortsword and these other bracelets and necklaces. There's so many weapons and jewelry here'
