Outcast Hunter

"It's now 1 against 8. Will you be able to handle us all? Or should I fight you like, how they fought 1 on 1?"

"Who said I was alone? Come forth, my fiery fiends!"

They emerged, from the ground's cracks and holes. Coated in magma, shrieking and staring at each others.

"Go!"

Abaddon initiated the attack. He flew from where he is and took out his dual hatchet..

Leo's mana-created right arm runs out of time and so, he used his skill again. He also took out his sword and blocked Abaddon's hatchet.

"You like axe huh?"

"So what of it!?"

Pushing Leo down using his strength, Abaddon used his skill 'Chastisement'.

It also allows him to control his mana and create a hands that will punish the enemy for him.

Leo was hold down by Abaddon, so the skill had reached him and hits his vital spots, dealing heavy blows.

"Guh"

Abaddon gritted his teeth and struck down Leo, who was pinned down on the ground.

Leo struggled to escape but failed to do so. The only thing he could do was block the attack. But he was too late to use his sword and the hatchet has pierced his right arm, about a few centimetres deep.

"ARGH!"

Leo was still able to felt the pain from his right arm. Though, it is mana-created, the pain was still excruciating.

"Kekeke, is that all you've got!?"

"Don't.. be so sure!"

Despite the pain inflicted on him, Leo smiled.

Leo grabbed both of Abaddon's arm, he pulled him and did a headbutt.

"Oww! That hurts!"

He was able to escape from Abaddon. He quickly stood up and fought back.

On the other side of their fight. Leo's subordinates was accompanied by the fiery fiends that Abaddon had summoned, from hell.

"It's one after the other! There's no end to this, there's so many of them!"

Khione, she's fighting like an assassin always did. Her elegant style of fighting had struck down countless number of the fiends.

Everyone was occupied was the fiery fiends. Whilst Tom and Scarlett, were already outside the complex before the fight began.

"Healers!"

Other hunters were on standby. Most of them are healers, it is to ensure their safety after the fight or if they failed and was able to escape.

"C-can you believe this! Demons had came out of the ground and they're coated in... magma! But don't worry, the mysterious group of hunters are taking care of them!"

Clash, clang, clash, that was the sound of the sword and hatchet clashing together, as the two fight, intercepting each and every attack.

'Cloak'

For a split seconds, Abaddon had lost senses of Leo and after that, it came back and was able to sense him again.

"Behind!"

Leo slashed him, but Abaddon was able to take a step behind, grazing his chest.

'Cloak'

Leo's presence was sealed again. Unfortunately, Abaddon had already thought of a plan on how to counter him.

"Above!"

'Chastisement'

Leo felt the mana coming his way. He was on mid-air, dodging will be hard. He focused and sensed the invisible hands of Abaddon.

'It's coming!'

He cut down the hands but one managed to hit him and he fell on the ground. Abaddon gave him no time to recover, he rushed towards Leo and struck him again.

'Hotfoot'

Fire was created from his feet. His speed had also increased.

He evaded him by going to the left and kicked the back of Abaddon's legs, making him kneel on the ground.

He quickly followed that with a roundhouse kick, straight to Abaddon's face.

He went flying. Leo returned what Abaddon's doing. Giving no time to recover, quickly following the attack by another one. He cut off Abaddon's right arm.

"Uwah!"

Rolling in pain, Abaddon's was screaming.

"Hey, you're not gonna die with your hand gone. Quick, treat your wound and use your mana to create an arm"

"Haa... it was different for everyone of us. For me, it was those.. invisible hands. For you it's that right arm of yours"

'So, it's like that'

Abaddon slowly stood up and he stopped the bleeding.

Inside the Hunters' Agency. The chairman was watching the live feed of the raid, along with his secretary Cristina.

"Sir, what are we gonna do about this now? Soon, he'll learn about the truth"

Said Cristina.

The Chairman pump another hit of tobacco.

"I'll tell him. As for his decision after that, it will be up to him"

"Understood, Lord Jegudiel"

The Chairman exhaled the tobacco's smoke and replied, "I told you not to call me by my angelic name. I have adopted to this world, learned all kinds of things and come this far."

"I am sorry about that, sir" she lightly bowed her head and continued. "Aren't you gonna help the Collector, sir?"

The chairman cackled.

"Hahaha, he don't need no help. The Creator exceptionally made him, he himself is powerful enough..."

The two continued on with their fight. Going on with one hand was a little disadvantage for Abaddon and Leo's right arm's almost out of time.

"I'm not used to holding a sword with my left hand, a double-edged at that. But if it is to give you a fair fight, I'll gladly do it"

Abaddon chuckled, and a little annoyed at the same time.

"You're underestimating me! Use both hands all you want, I will still kill you!"

"I underestimate, no one. If there's someone, I think it's me"

Leo's mana-created arm dispersed, he switch his sword to his left hand and made his stance.

"Let's continue"

Abaddon was more pissed than earlier.

"Youuuuu!"

'Chastisement'

Using his skill and attacking at the same time, Abaddon was pushing Leo to the edge.

'Defending and attacking's really hard with just one arm'

Leo groans.

Heavy blows hits him everywhere. Still not used to wielding a sword on his left hand.

"I told you not to belittle me. You're going to die, if you keep your shit up!"

Leo kept using his left arm for fighting Abaddon. He's losing so much HP and he's also getting tired, defending and dodging Abaddon's attacks.

"Haa! Haa! Haa! I think you're right, I must be underestimating you. I'm a fool"

He finally used his skill, again and switched his sword.
