Outcast Hunter

All of the expedition's members had been chosen. About 20 Predator members were chosen. Including the leader himself. The necessities were packed too. Food and water for a month.

"All that we need is to go now, right?" Said Alexander, who just finished packing his things.

Leo also have his share of food and water. Though, he had it stored inside his inventory. The wagons they'll use as their transportation to Kingdom of Warlock. The wagoners executed the horses and so they began their journey.

The wheels took on the uneven roads. The weather was nice, the sky was clear.. There was no signs of a rain pouring down anytime soon. They'll be travelling for about 3 and a half days to reach the border between Fallonia and Warlock.

"This isn't a wagon, this a carriage. How come your transportation vehicle is the only different one?" Leo said to Priscilla.

Inside the carriage was just the two of them. It was from her father. He does not want his daughter to ride some low-class wagons.

"My father's a king, he wouldn't let me ride those."

"Then you should atleast know how to adapt with those kinds of things. You're a princess," said Leo, as he took out a biscuit out of his pocket and ate it. They set out early in the morning. It's a long journey, so every hour counts.

Night came and they already reached half of their way to the border. The wagons and Priscilla's carriage stopped. They found a spot where they could camp. In two days, there will be a full moon. And by the time they reach the border separating the kingdom of Fallonia and Warlock, all of the flowers that Fallonia had planted near the border will bloom.

They set up camp at a roadside. Took out the food they'll cook and set a fire to warm themselves. Ren brought out his father's famous alcohol all over the kingdom. A little drink won't hurt.

After their little party, everyone went to sleep.

Leo was woken up by the appetizing aroma that was coming from the pot Priscilla was cooking. Aside from hunting monsters, she also likes to cook. It became a habit, cooking for everyone, that is. He took a look at what she was cooking.

"Gratin, huh?" He said. The dish was almost finish. She just needs to put the finishing touch and it's done.

"We have lots of potatoes, so that's why." She had a bowl with her, scooped some gratin and gave it to Leo. He tasted it and it was way beyond his expectation.

"I'll go wake up the others and tell them to have breakfast."

And they all had lunch together.

"I need someone stronger to lift the wagons' wheels." It was stuck in a muddy road. It didn't rain last night but, the road's wet because of the overflowing water from a nearby lake.

"Coming!"

All of the men lift up the wagon's wheel out of the muddy road and continued going. Leo rode the wagon where Alexander was. He said he wanted to have a talk with him and discuss a few matters about this trip.

"So, where did you learn all those moves? You've really got me back there."

Leo slightly smiled as he remembered where he'd learned all that kicks and punches.

"I learned it from a master."

"Ohh, I might want to meet that master. Learn a few things or so."

"I'm afraid you'll be able to meet him. He's living in another nation." Imagination.

"That's too bad then. Well, let's talk about this raid. I want to inform you of some pointers to know."

Alexander gave him a book. What's written in there were the monsters that they would be seeing in the Warlock. Also, some of the important materials for making weapons. And ingredients for making potions and rare ingredients for making top-notch delicacies.

He read the content and saw different kind of monsters that he hasn't encountered in the past. The monster also has rank. Based on how strong the monsters are.

"There's a paper in the back." Leo saw the paper. There's name of monsters written in it and materials they will be collecting upon arriving in the kingdom of Warlock.

(Not having a phone to use sucks. It's making me too lazy to continue this story. I can't really concentrate when trying to write, like my minds going blank. Anyway, sorry for a short chapter, again.)
