Outcast Hunter

Chapter 92 - 92: Towards To Death

Priscilla's amazement was mixed with fright and anxiety. She backed away when she saw the wyvern got resurrected, she fell on her butt. Leo glanced at her and helped her stand. He smiled apologetically at her when he offered a hand. The wyvern lowered its head to Leo and let them ride on its back. It flapped its wings majestically and ascended into the sky. Everything seemed so small from the two's point of view. Except for the fact that the kraken and the leviathan were exceptionally humongous. His eyes narrowed down to the figures moving below them. The first one he spotted was Ren. He was fighting some minotaurs and manticores. Leo ordered the wyvern to immediately descend and pick up Ren. It landed and he right away helped him saved him from his predicament.

Leo made haste as he brought forth his sword.. He used his overwhelming speed against the foes and single-handedly killed the remaining monsters. The wyvern flew again and the three continued searching for the others. Not so far from where they found Ren about a mile. Alexander and Noreen were swarmed by monsters. The two's back against each other. Leo, seeing that his comrades was in danger, he jumped off the wyvern. It wasn't that high so he quickly recovered from landing. The other two followed him and they helped kill the monsters. They were able to save them.

"You never cease to amaze us, Leo!" Ren couldn't have a clear look at the wyvern earlier. "This won't die again even if it's killed right?"

The question struck a thought to his mind. He's been resurrecting monsters, but he haven't seen them die, so the question never surged within him.

"I think... so?" Even him was puzzled. 'Should I try?' He thought.

"I didn't think that you would have this kind of power." Alexander said as he pat Leo's shoulder as a sign of him being thankful.

"What are we going to do now that there's a real threat waiting for us?" Noreen pointed out the problem. The leviathan and the kraken were once again fighting each other. Despite being a mythical creature, the Kraken doesn't boast any supernatural abilities. The fearsome nature of the Kraken is its sheer size; sailors do not have to worry about it flying out of the water or putting a curse on them.

Its tentacles tightened around the leviathan, however, it fought back and bit off another tentacles to free itself. The kraken threw a heavy fist towards the leviathan. It evaded the punch used water-elemental skill trying to faze the immovable kraken. It guarded itself from the incoming strong and destructive forces of the skill. The water splashed onto the ground, sweeping anything it passes by. Leo and the others could see those two fighting.

"So, where are we headed?" Priscilla asked. She has fear of heights, but she couldn't control her urge to look down. Leo didn't bother sitting or grabbing onto the wyvern. He was standing still.

"I'm suppose to meet an acquaintance. We're going there." He pointed out the Dark Palace. Where Death resides. Their eyes shifted towards the black, ominous palace. And shivers ran down their spines.

"No way!"
