The 60 days of training camp is over. Sai is driving Vimana to go where he dropped Yukina and the others in the Mountain Range of Monstrosity.

Since he is alone, he is able to use Vimana at a fast speed, allowing him to arrive there in only 1-minute travel.

When he arrived, he was welcomed by Shigure. It is more like she appeared before Sai land from Vimana. Kneeling on one knee, she greeted Sai.

"Otou-sama. I have finished comprehending the books you have given me." (Shigure)

"Looks like it. You have done well, Shigure." Sai praised her with a smile while patting her head.

"Thank you very much." Shigure responded with an expressionless face.

"Are they still sleeping?" (Sai)

"Yes." (Shigure)

Sai looked at the surroundings and he noticed the stone house with an outside kitchen and dining table. There's even an outside hot spring.

"Indeed, one would be able to enjoy eating outside while looking at the sky or feeling the gentle breeze. Shigure, help me prepare breakfast." Sai requested Shigure as he took out ingredients from Inventory.

Shigure didn't say anything and followed him to the kitchen.

Saaya is the first one to wake up today. She fixed her bed and went outside to take a bath.

"Good morning, Saaya." (Sai)

"Sai! What are you doing here?" (Saaya)

"I'm here to pick up everyone. The training camps is over." (Sai)

"I forgot that it was today. Ah, let me help out." (Saaya)

"There's no need, Shigure and I can handle this. You are going to take a bath, right? After you do that, please wake up the others." (Sai)

Sai leaned on tree and Kazuki slammed her right hand near his head.

"Tell me, did you eat the Fruit of Sin?" (Kazuki)

"Yes." (Sai)

"I thought this would be the case. What are you planning to do with the urges from the Seven Sins?" (Kazuki)

"There's no urges, though." (Sai)

"Impossible. Anyone who even holds that fruit would be corrupted thoroughly and you ate that fruit so there should at least some side-effects, no?" (Kazuki)

"Ah, that thing. That will only happen if you absorb the Fruit of Sin half-heartedly leaving the sentience intact. In my case, I even devoured the sentience and left nothing behind so the fruit will not influence me. I already take some research about the Fruit of Sin and I knew how to deal with it some time ago." (Sai)

"I forgot that it is you who we are talking about. Sorry. But what are you going to do with the possessor of Seven Heavenly Virtues? Knowing those people from the Cathedral, once their Saint sensed the Seven Deadly Sins, they would launch a crusade against you." (Kazuki)

"Sai-san, Kazuki-san, welcome back." Rinko greeted the two who came back from their secret talk.

"You two came back! Come, there's still plenty of food left!" Saaya who is serving the food implored them to eat.

"Seriously, the two of you. I know that it's been sixty days since you saw each other, but there's no need to rush in catching up with each other." Sayo who is stoically scolding us.

"Take it easy, Sayo-chan. You also attempted to do the same but Kazuki-san is much earlier, no?" Chisato drinks her coffee as she exposes Sayo.

"Shirasagi-san!" (Sayo)

"Chisato-san, don't tease Sayo-san too much." (Miu)

"Don't cause too much ruckus since we're eating." (Yukina)

"You're not going to eat, Kazuki?" (Sai)

"No, since I'm a Primordial Land I have no need to eat." Then, Kazuki went back inside Chisato.

After they finished eating, Saaya and Sayo washed the dishes. They cleaned their temporary camp while Sai is reading a book.

"Are we going back to Central Base Camp?" (Yukina)

"No, where going to my temporary residence. All of you get aboard." (Sai)

They rode Vimana and went to the Pocket Mansion.

"Sai, you said this is a temporary residence, right? It doesn't look like it." (Saaya)

"Um…. what a large mansion." (Rinko)

"Kaiku-san, how much did this cost? Don't tell me you poured all of your money for this?" (Sayo)

"There's a lot of recreation facilities." (Chisato)

While the girls are in the middle of amazement, Scáthach appeared out of nowhere.

"I'm back, Mentor. Thank you for keeping watch while I'm gone." (Sai)

"It's my job. Anyways, are these girls your other subordinates?"

"Employees, yes."

Scáthach approached the girls and introduced herself.

"I'm Scáthach, a Servant under Sai." (Scáthach)

The girls have different reactions when they saw the Queen of the Land of Shadows.

"What a beautiful person!" (Miu & Saaya & Sayo)

"She…has…a…powerful presence." Rinko nearly choked at the feel of Scáthach's presence.

"Beauty, dignity, the power in her voice, she got it all. Indeed, she is powerful!" (Chisato)

"She is not in the ones Sai got in the Gacha." (Yukina)

"Well, let's discuss the details later. Mentor, can I ask you to train them?" (Sai)

"If it is your request, then I will." (Scáthach)

"I'll trouble you. There you have it, everyone. The training camp in the Mountain Range or Monstrosity is to let you learn how to survive in an unfamiliar environment and to familiarize yourselves with your abilities. This time, I want you to learn how to adapt in a fight and increase your experience in fighting enemies with the ability to think. Well, Mentor is a formidable one so you can learn a lot from her. "Aristotle, huh. So, what are going to do here Master?" (Da Vinci)

"Trying out some spells." (Sai)

"Can't you do that in your room? Although, I don't mind Master being here." (Da Vinci)

"Just ignore me here. Oh, right. Da Vinci, I thought you are going to help Nagato in setting up the surveillance system." (Sai)

"I forgot that. Thanks for reminding me Master. I will go now!" Da Vinci quickly dashed out of the room.

"First things first. Shigure, are you there?" Sai called out into the air.

Upon Sai's call, Shigure appeared out of nowhere.

(Even though I used Geburt and Wiedergeburt on her, unlike Miu who already abandoned everything, the Original Shigure still exists. The one who still has attachment to her compatriots and disciple. I fused the Original Shigure and a soul that I created that is based on her but with modifications. I can purge that Original but that will be boring. If the Original prevails, she will take over my created soul and absorb all power that I gave to her. In that scenario, she will be hostile with me and will attempt to take Miu with her. Well, the Miu now is someone who will erase the threats to me without hesitation. I can just watch the show. If my created soul prevails, I will gain a loyal subordinate. However, there is also that third result…) (Sai)

(Currently, Shigure is still in an inner conflict and obeying my instructions on the surface. Will I gain a subordinate or another enemy? I really look forward in what result will appear.) (Sai)

"Have you mastered Umbra's Veil?" (Sai)

Umbra's Veil. A set of spells that is once used by the assassin that killed a Fairy King, Saint from Cathedral, and the Iron Blooded Empress' right hand from Erdmitte. The said assassin disappeared after the assassinations, but the truth is I caught him and analyze him thoroughly.

It turns out that he managed to assassinate those bigshots was because he found the tome containing the Umbra's Veil and mastered it. The assassin didn't know what exactly the tome is, since he encountered it by chance. After that, I disposed the assassin and took the Tome of Umbra's Veil.

"Yes." (Shigure)

And Shigure mastered that Umbra's Veil in merely sixty days. If it weren't for Sai's Eyes of Heaven, he will not be able to detect her. And Sai is pleased with this. Even if she became an ally or enemy, she will make things interesting for him.

Right now, Sai is patting Shigure's head.

"Umu! Umu! You have done well, Shigure. I'm so proud of you." (Sai)

"Thank you very much." Although her face is expressionless and her tone is indifferent, her actions were the opposite. Shigure snuggled to Sai while he is patting her.

"Okay, that's it. Go to Mentor and receive her training as well. Even though you are one of the powerful martial artists in your world, you will still need her guidance." Sai released Shigure and instructed her.

There he selected two skills to fuse. Embodiment Arc and Projection Magecraft. The former uses the imagination to create but the magic itself has limitation on its own. While the latter analyzes and records the history and composition of the object and produces a replica of it.

One is creation and the other is fabrication. One can be used thoughtlessly and the other needs complex processes to execute.

That's why Sai looks forward to the result. A Lost Magic and an incomplete and useless Magecraft that is innovated by a certain mage.

(Personally speaking, I still favor Projection. Techniques are something that is second nature to me. Relying on overpowered Magic is a big no to me.) (Sai)

Setting aside his personal opinions, Sai selects the two. He stops momentarily because he noticed something new here.
