"Yay! Finally done with the creation of equipment and sort of things. And there is still more time to prepare." Sai speaks as he stretched his hands above.

"Congratulations, Father. I will deliver the items to Da Vinci-san and Nagato-san." Jenseits snapped her fingers and the things Sai made were enveloped with green light, then disappeared.

The green light is an ability that came from the Sky Poison Pearl which Jenseits devoured a couple of days ago. This time it didn't cause shockwaves.

"Tell Yukina and the others to temporary halt the training and have them help, that includes Mentor. As for Shigure, just tell her that she can meet me anytime if you saw her." (Sai)

"Understood, I will also tell them that you were not be able to join them in eating." (Jenseits)

"Off you go." (Sai)

Jenseits bowed and left the room.

"Now then, let me use this Skill Chose Ticket. It says that it lets me choose a Skill that has the potential to become a Forbidden Skill. Well that will depend on how they will be developed." (Sai)

One second later.

Sai took a bath and then he wandered in the garden.

Before he knew it, his entire body is chained by black chains that suddenly sprouted from the ground. Then, his surroundings change. Everything has been dyed with dark-violet shade.

"One of the Ultimate Domains of Umbra's Veil, Underworld's Execution, huh. Umbra's Veil, a tome that originally belonged to Grim Reaper of Underworld. In the Primordial Era, aside from the Forsaken Land, there is a place that functions similarly to Forsaken Land, and that is the Underworld. "When a soul that is thoroughly corrupted and beyond the capabilities of the Reapers, the Grim Reapers appears. Sai talked to himself as he analyzes the situation.

Shigure appeared in front of him with a katana on her right hand.

"It seems that you understand your situation. In that case, I only want two things. Release Miu and return us to our planet." (Shigure)

Shigure's Side

"Will you release me now, Kosaka-san? These chains are tight that it hurts." Sai speaks with a carefree smile on his face.

For some reason, Shigure didn't like that Sai called her Kosaka-san. She felt that it is much better for him to call her with her given name. Clearing the idle thoughts, Shigure speaks to Sai.

"I will only release you if you return Miu to normal." (Shigure)

"I cannot do that." (Sai)

Shigure move closer to Sai, and placed the blade of the katana near Sai's neck.

"I'm know that you are aware of what will happen if you were to die here." (Shigure)

"It's not like I'm screwing around. I can't return Miu to normal since she in her 'normal state to begin with' after all." (Sai)

"That's a lie. There's no way Miu is in her normal self. You did something to her, the same thing you did to me." (Shigure)

"I'm not lying, though." (Sai)

Shigure didn't noticed it, but her hand that holds the katana is trembling, and Sai noticed it.

"Kosaka-san, do really wish to return to your world with Miu?" (Sai)

"Of course, that is something I must do." (Shigure)

Sai looks at her with a gentle smile and speaks with a soft voice. Shigure only felt security and peace with his presence. While she is currently feeling extreme guilt as she holds her katana. She hates herself for pointing a katana at him and threatening him.

Yes, she is feeling this with full knowledge of she really is and what Sai did to her.

She is fighting the urge to kneel in front of him and apologize.

"Release me, Shigure. Don't worry, I'm not angry with you." (Sai)

Shigure felt relief at his words and immediately released him. The chains lose its grip on Sai and faded away.

"What did I just do?" Shigure is confused on what she did.

(Why did I release him? What's with this sense of relief? I mustn't feel this way, he just wants to use me and Miu!) (Shigure)

While Shigure is in the middle of sorting her thoughts, Sai approached her. Before she knew it, she was already embraced by Sai.

"Although we are not related by blood, I already considered you as my daughter. That's why I will be tolerant and forgive you. There's no reason to be afraid. There, there." Sai consoles her as he brushes her hair.

Shigure didn't say anything but her mind is in chaos.

(What am I doing? I should get away from him.) (Shigure)

She decided to push him back but her body doesn't follow her will and it even encircled her arms to hug Sai in return.

Sai put his face closer to Shigure's and speak beside her left ear.

"Shigure, have you ever considered why humans wish to live?"

"Humans live hoping to conquer their anxieties and fears, and attain peace of mind. Seeking fame, controlling others and acquiring wealth are done to achieve peace of mind."

"Marriage and friendship are also pursued as means of attaining peace of mind. When people say they wish to help others or a thing is done for love and justice…It's all merely to themselves peace of mind."

"To achieve peace of mind is the goal of all mankind."

Sai's words have a great impact to Shigure, as if it was being imprinted to her, she believes every last one of them.

"Now, given that, what anxiety could you possibly feel towards being my daughter? Any other peace of mind will come easily if you do."

"I..." Shigure forced herself to resist to answer Sai's demand.

Sai holds her right hand with his left hand, he raises it and aims at his neck. He pressed the katana in his neck and opened a wound.

Shigure felt worry when she saw blood in Sai's neck.

"Shigure, is Ryozanpaku and your blood-related father worth of the anxiety you are feeling right now? They only caused you suffering and even led you to your death."

"That is--" Before she could even complete speak properly, Sai holds her cheek with his right hand to interrupt her.

"You are about to lie, right? If so, don't say it, I don't want you to lie to me. Because you know they are not worth it." Sai c.a.r.e.s.s her cheek lovingly.

She didn't deny Sai's sentence, instead she felt extremely ashamed of herself with the thought of lying to Sai. Sai released Shigure.

"Now that I think about it, you attempted to take my life. I didn't want to punish you but you have thrown away my trust."

Shigure felt despair at Sai's last sentence. 'That is not true' she wanted to say but she stopped herself. There are only vestiges of self-control left in her.

"I will give a chance to prove yourself. Once you accomplished it, I will make you my true daughter. If not, I will abandon you." Sai words restored light in Shigure's eyes.

"This katana, break it with your own two hands." (Sai)

Shigure didn't know what to do.

"That's right, this katana is the fusion of all katanas made by your blood-related father." Sai knew what is in her mind and confirmed it with this sentence.

"Now, what will you do, Shigure?" (Sai)

Shigure recalled Jenseits' advice.

"It's better to know what makes you happy and what makes you suffer before deciding." (Jenseits)

Shigure think about it, her memories before meeting Sai and her memories after meeting Sai.

She chose the happiness she felt as Sai's daughter.

Her attachments and feelings with her past life vanished. The only thing in her mind is, she didn't want Sai to abandon her.

She holds the handle with her right hand and the blade with her left. And she snapped the katana without hesitation and throw it away in the ground.

Sai smiled to her and pats her head.

"I'm very 'happy' Shigure, you really made me 'happy'. I'm really 'glad' to have a good girl like you as my daughter." Sai praises Shigure with a pleased voice.

Shigure, upon hearing Sai's praises, dive to his c.h.e.s.t and embraced him. She hugged Sai tightly as if to imprint his very existence upon herself.

"Please praise me more and spoil me well, Father (read as: Otou-sama)." Her emotionless voice is gone and it is now replaced by an extremely affectionate voice.

"Okay, if that is my beloved daughter's request." Sai said, then he c.a.r.e.s.ses Shigure's back causing her to snuggle to him.

Shigure looked at his face and said.

"I love you, Father." Although her face is expressionless, the blush in her face and the sweetness in her voice suggests that she is a daughter expressing her love towards her father.

Sai kissed her in the FOREHEAD and replied.

"I love you too, my beloved daughter." (Sai)

Hearing those words, filled Shigure with happiness, fulfillment, and delight.

"Father, I want to be your true daughter." Shigure implored Sai.

"Very well. {Wiedergeburt}." This time he only made small changes in her soul and did major changes in her physical body. He preserved her talent and modified her DNA. Now, every fiber of Shigure declares that she is Sai's daughter.

"With this, we are officially sisters, Shigure." (Jenseits)

"Still, Father is really extraordinary. To think that Father is able to reduce Shigure to that with mere words. He didn't used any skill to manipulate her and led her line of thought with words." (Jenseits)

"I feel uncomfortable looking at them getting lovey-dovey like that. I will have Father spoil me later." (Jenseits)

Remembering that she needs to help in setting up the preparations, Jenseits leaves quietly.
