Chapter 60: The Tournament and One Year Preparation

"Welcome, Tou-san." (Alviria)

When my vision came back, I saw my second daughter greeting me.

"Long time no see, Alviria." (Sai)

"I'm glad that you're still alive." (Alviria)

"Well, well, how about we start this with the payment you promised me." (Sai)

Alviria snapped her fingers and a notification rang.

[You obtained Ephemeral Skill: Pledge of the Major Arcana.]

"The very first and the only Ephemeral Skill we possess. It allows you to use it on twenty-two people of your selection. Similar to Forsaken Land, those selected twenty-two will be yours to command for all eternity. They will also be given a boost depending on what card is used on them." (Alviria)

Sai only kept quiet.

"There are still four payments waiting for you. Since I bothered you for five days, I will also give you five payments. With the next one, it will be three left." (Alviria)

"Okay, let's get this finished with so that we can get to the main topic." (Sai)

"Thanks for that." (Sai)

"As for the remaining three, it is perks if you want a tournament we are about to hold. Of course, if you're not interested, I will replace it." (Alviria)

"Is this tournament being the one you want to discuss with me?" (Sai)

We do not plan to implement total subordination; we seek cooperation on those we can talk with on equal grounds. We will give compensation to each task we issue." (Alviria)

"I know that you're not exactly interested with those things. We plan to conduct the tournament in these worlds." (Alviria)

Alviria flashed a holographic screen to Sai.

Third Round: Akame ga Kill

"I'm in!" (Sai)

"U-understood. As for the one who will remain at First Rank will be reincarnated to a special world. It is an irregular world since parallel worlds of different canon worlds merged to form this irregular world." (Alviria)

"I can get out of that world if I wanted so no worries. Still, I'm curious about something. Why is Fairy Tail on the first round? If you're asking me, a much better order would be Kimetsu no Yaiba, Akame ga Kill, then Fairy Tail." (Sai)

"Indeed, that would be ideal if you're talking about the power level. But we based the order on the difficulty of survival. And among the three, Fairy Tail is the easiest one to survive in, thus making it ideal for the starting round." (Alviria)

"In Fairy Tail, we concluded that as long as you stay away from the main cast or antagonist, you will live. Even if you get caught up in a fight which involves the Fairy Tail Guild, you will still survive." (Alviria)

"Is it because you will get their assistance?" (Sai)

"That's part of it. But the biggest factor is the intention when the world is created." (Alviria)

"Intention when the world is created? Is it the author's intention in creating his fiction? If that is the case, it would be understandable since Fairy Tail does not contain bloody scenes where characters are dying unlike Akame ga Kill or Kimetsu no Yaiba." (Sai)

"None. Let's get this started." (Sai)

"I'm sorry for killing your fun, but we will start next year since we gave the other participants a year to prepare." (Alviria)

"Huh?! You're kidding me, right?" (Sai)

"No. Unlike you, who already possess absurd powers, the other players are still low-leveled and in need of training. Besides, we are opening the Guild Function on the System, so the players need time to get to know and form a guild with other players." (Alviria)

"Not like training will give them a chance against me. Oh well, I'll just kill time." (Sai)

"If you like, why don't I send you to Yukina-san's and other's world?" (Alviria)

"Now that you mentioned it, you've gone and fused the Real Bandori Members with the Artificial Bandori Members I created." (Sai)

"On the side note, I have also done the same method to Ran-san's batch. I created their AI versions, exposed those AI versions with your To Be Loved to Death by Yanderes, implanted the remaining Primordial Goddess Cores we have left on them and fused them with the real ones." (Alviria)

Let me explain what just happened. When the examination started, I created Artificial Intelligences based on characters from the mobile game Bandori! Girls' Band Party. The AIs gained a physical body and I gave them Primordial Goddess Cores which turned them into Goddesses.

The formula would be like this if I were to use Yukina as an example:

Yandere AI-based from Yukina Minato + Primordial Goddesses Cores + The Real Yukina Minato = The Current Yukina Minato

"Well, it didn't cause me a problem so I'll overlook it. Send us right now to that world." (Sai)

"Then, I'll set the coordinates to an island with no people in near mainland Japan. And I will set that world as your homeworld. Will that suffice?" (Alviria)

"Yeah. Then, see you after this one year." (Sai)

"One more thing. When we took away Yukina-san and others from that world, we stopped the time so that their disappearance will not cause a ruckus. Time will resume once you arrived in that world." (Alviria)

"Quite considerate. Thanks for that." (Sai)

Unnamed Island Near the Japanese Territory

Sai observed his surroundings which are grasslands and several trees.

"So, this is the Earth where the Bandori Girls lives, huh. Even though it is Earth, it still feels different from the one where I came from. The girls might be confused about what's going on so I need to explain it to them."

And Sai went inside the Pocket Mansion to tell his girls what he and Alviria talked about. The competition, the one-year preparation, and their current location.

"Ah! That's right, at this time I'm supposed to prepare to go to school right now!" Arisa exclaimed when Sai was finished explaining.

"Since time was stopped when we left, it means when we get back we need to go back to what we are doing before we left. And as Arisa-san has said, at this time, all of us are going to school." (Sayo)

"But we are on an island far from the mainland. How can we get back fast?"

"Then, I'll send you girls back with a transfer spell to send you back to your homes. As for the coordinates, I can just use my Eyes of Heaven to identify the coordinates of your houses."

"Sasuga Sai-san! Very dependable and fast!" (Ako)

"On that note, here. Change and call me out after I'm done." Sai handed out school uniforms to the girls before leaving the room.

"Then, I'll also leave. I need to tend to my lab." Da Vinci left and the incarnated heroic spirits followed the suit. Eventually, the Bandori girls are the only ones left in the room.

"Sai-san, we're done changing." Chisato's voice was heard from the closed room.

"Just in time. I finished locating your homes. I will not go inside to room and send you immediately." A purple book appeared in Sai's hand.

The transferred spell succeeded and the girls were sent to their houses.

"Now what to do? Should I buy more skills and fuse them with my own, or summon more Heroic Spirits?" With nothing left to do, Sai thinks of what he can do to pass time.

"Then, how about getting underlings?" Anshin'in-san appeared behind Sai clinging on his neck.

"Underlings, you say?"

"Yeah. Even if you are a hidden boss, you still need underlings that will take care of the mundane stuff for you. Especially now that the world you are going to go to is Fairy Tail where a war between countries will begin. I don't think dealing with the small fry soldiers will be entertaining for you." (Anshin'in-san)

"But where would I get underlings? And I'm saying it now, I will not hire the likes of male thugs or something." (Sai)

"You are forgetting something. Don't you have a World Ticket that will take you to a world where a virus killed the majority of the males in that world leaving the population to five males and five billion females?" (Anshin'in-san)

"World's End Harem!" (Sai)

Author's Thoughts

And so, I decided to delete MHA Arc and start anew. That's why I edited this chapter.

Before I start the Fairy Tail Arc, we will have an intermission arc in World's End Harem. Be warned that I will not follow the plot of the Canon World's End Harem since I cannot wait for it to end
