The ringing doorbell caught their attention as they were unpacking while chatting away. Nikki ran to the get the door "Who is it?"

"Open up, it's me." The voice at the door said. The door wasn't fully opened when Nikki threw her body at Evelyn's as she hugged her tightly "Oh I missed you so much." Evelyn was still in shock as she was pulled swiftly into the house. "Diana! Come quick its Evelyn." Evelyn snapped back at the sound of Nikki's loud voice, she pulled her into a warm embrace. "I missed you too, look at you, you've become more beautiful."

"Grandma." A sweet little voice called out. Evelyn turned to the source of the voice, a little girl came running towards her with her arms wide open. "My Pearl, you're so big now, I've missed you more." Evelyn was exquisitely delighted to see her granddaughter.

Pearl may not have met Evelyn, but Diana often told her how Evelyn provided aids and nicely she took care of them. Pearl was very s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e, she could easily read her mother's emotion, she was happy when she is, her friends were hers and enemies hers. Pearl was very fond of Evelyn for taking good care of her mommy, without meeting her first, she had loved her to the core from the stories she heard about her.

"Grandma you look pretty."

"Why thank you darling." Evelyn blushed "You look beautiful too, just like your mother."

"I also look like grandma, and that's why am pretty." Pearl remarked with an never ending smile. She wasn't wrong there, Wayne inherited his blue eyes from Evelyn and now Pearl had them.

"Evelyn." Diana walked up to hug her "Am so happy to see you."

"Am delighted to my dear." Evelyn took a glance of the apartment. "How did you get this place?"

"Oh, its all thanks to Hailey, I contacted her to prepare a place for us and she got us here. It's pretty good, since we wanted a simple place to stay." Diana knew well that Evelyn would want to take up the job of organizing a place for them but she didn't want to trouble her, she also wanted to pay the bills besides she was satisfied with this place, homely and affordable, drawing less attention.

"Why didn't tell me to prepare a place for you." Evelyn sneered at Diana then turned to Hailey. "You did a good job anyway." "Thank you." Hailey accepted her warm approval.

"Are you done unpacking? Do you need any help?" Putting her bag on the sofa, Evelyn was ready to help out."

"We're almost done, you don't have to worry." Diana assured her. "But we were planning on get lunch and stop by the supermarket for some provisions."

"If that's the case, let's go then, I'll drive." Evelyn took her bag to search for the car keys. The girls quickly took their purses and were ready to go. "Come one Pearl, let's go." Extending her hand for Pearl to reach out, Evelyn called her granddaughter.

"Okay grandma, but please call me sugar." Pearl emphasized the word 'sugar' with a sweet smile.

"Alright sugar." Evelyn smiled back.
